Really impressed with Buddy's vision. Never knew he had it. That swinging leftie to Steph and that swinging rightie to Wiggins, most players wouldn't have the vision, the court awareness, and the fast computation to make those passes. Impressive. Add that to the career-long shooting accuracy, the smart play to this point with the Warriors, the hard work everywhere on court, the apparently last-one-to-leave-the-gym work ethic, and I'm really rooting for Buddy to put his name firmly on the league billboard lights, by establishing himself here as an indispensable cog in a winning, synergistic machine.
Why I love watching your videos! The intro music gets me in the mood of anticipation. The humor is great, like no one ever gets fired...make my dreams come true etc. You don't focus on showing yourself and studio, no long intro. Its direct to the point and its not half an hour talk. Most often than not we are wanting more but thats alright. Just wait for the next video coz Eric made a promise to be better next time. Instead of saying, if you haven't already pls hit subscribe or guys 90% you are not subscribe blah blah. Lol😅
I've heard references to the 'Hield experience' before. He starts the season hot, then transitions to a lesser value player. Supposedly, that's why the Dubs picked him up for cheap. But why? What's behind the pattern? Could it be boneheaded coaching? Misusing his talents? Jealousy cutting into his minutes and disrupting team chemistry? Injuries? Boredom? All I see right now with my eyeballs is a quick decision-maker, a guy who hustles, a guy who shoots gloriously, a guy who seems to be liked by his teammates. I don't see drama. I don't see selfishness. He's in excellent condition, and he has the reputation of being a gym rat - the last guy to go home. He's even exerting himself on defense. Somebody really ought to dissect his history on other teams and diagnose why the hell this guy is not a celebrated all-star already. From where I sit, it looks like he will be one this year. He's very damn elite, and a wonderful bargain for the Dubs.
His defense has generally fallen somewhere between bad and awful over his career. And while he has good averages, he tends to be a streaky shooter where he is lights out for a week, then has a terrible week I do think being in a system like this one will really help him out. He's given a lot more freedom than just being a catch and shoot guy in the corner or coming off a single screen. He really seems to be enjoying his time in GS, and everything reported says the players love him too. Only been a few games, including pre-season, but I can't remember seeing a single possession he has taken off on either end of the floor.
@@jferrante831because the mfs that say he can’t play defense don’t watch basketball he’s not great but he’s good team defender put it like this it’s better than what we got ffrom Klay last yr honestly
@@liamartinproductions I'm still searching for reasons for this pattern. One of the things that struck me about an interview he gave was this: he had never been so open as he has been on the Warriors. It makes me wonder if his teammates were not running plays for him. Burning up the clock and dumping to Buddy at the last second. Ignoring him. Not all franchises emphasize selfless play. Quite a few are iso-dominant. Throw in a little jealousy and you could squash his effectiveness.
That's 3am, Manila! Thank you, your vids make each win all the more special. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's eagerly waiting! It looks like it's going to be another great season! 💪💪💪
Ooh, watching this new buddy has healed any post-Klay pessimism I may have been wallowing in. Sorry, but seriously, I love to see the things you've pointed out here, especially that hustle-back to alley-oop to JK. Could it be that his game was waiting all his 31 years for the team that would know how to use it? Otto Porter Jr. was not the player Hield ever was, but his once-a-career flourishing with GSW was an example of how this organization can bring out the best in some players, those whose games fit easily into the system. Seems like an absolutely great pick-up by Dunleavy & Co. A trade you can hang your hat on as a GM.
He's been hustling back to defense as well. Completely bought in to everything the team is trying to do because he knows he'll get rewarded with the most open shots he's had in his NBA career.
I think you should analyze what Draymond is doing on the offensive and defensive end because there's a lot of people that " KNOW BASKETBALL " and think Draymond isn't that valuable to the Warriors because he doesn't produce insane stats
0:40 did you say step back or Steph back? If you said the latter, that is pure genius right there! If you said the former then my faulty hearing is pure genius😅

"They don't call Kyle Anderson Slo-Mo for nothing."
The analysis is always great but the celebration audit makes me LOL.
Plus the promise to do better next time👌
Anyone can do celebration audits - it's takes some real film room chops to pull off premature celebration audits. Lightyears ahead.
"Steph-back." How long has this been a thing, and how could it ever have not been a thing?
I try to never miss your videos and I'm never disappointed. Thanks!

Loving the GP2/Hield combo. The way they each can flip a game, in completely different ways, should continue to make for a dynamic bench unit.
Always such a good job. Truly enjoy your analysis. Thanks.
so far the warrior bench been scary cant wait until next week to see it in action against real team next week

He gassed out mid season and his movement and defense become worse

The thing I love second most about a dubs win is E1P. Really appreciate all the work and fun that goes into these.

Glad to have you watching, but get some sleep for your health!!

Primo video! Plus Kyle Anderson finds a way to make the highlights!
Here for the celebration analysis, should do a compilation every 5 videos , i'll watch ! lol😁
Always enjoying your anotations! and final bench celebration remarks! hahaha
Video quality has improved, and I love it.
Love thees breakdowns.
It is early, but I hope this is sustainable!!!
Fun to watch.
It is always “next time” with you. 😝
Great vid. Slo Mo indeed
Man i was hoping you were going to do the celebration for slowmo 3 pt shot
I always enjoy your videos, please make reviews of more plays coz the analysis is always great too
All the way from South Africa🌍
Thanks for the encouragement! It takes a lot of time to make these videos so it’s hard for me to do more…
The slo mo part has me subscribed
i love your videos, super underrated... would love to see you grow and try make analysis on other nba teams Great Vids!!!
Ur celebration audits kill me every time man keep it up
I think you should analyze what Draymond is doing on the offensive and defensive end because there's a lot of people that " KNOW BASKETBALL " and think Draymond isn't that valuable to the Warriors because he doesn't produce insane stats
And you do keep doing better, I'll keep watching to see if you can keep that up .
Slo Mo looks like a great addition to the warriors rotation. Great passer and calm decision maker

Your hearing and I are both geniuses! And don’t forget the side-Steph move
That was an epic vid.
2:50 For those "Steph just rides on coattails..." folks, yeah sure. This is the definition of Gravity. His mere presence creates space for everyone.
Eric Apricot sees all (including the celebrations).
one guy to watch this year is Waters....he will play more once in the season
Nifty Steph-back had me 😂
Jk needs better vision on the court though. In one possession he had Buddy open for a good 5 seconds.
We don't need superstar,we just need aggressive and hustle players.whose ready anytime they enter the game
just realized i dont recognize any of the W's bench
Mister Apricot please tell me we are getting another ring this year, and that the doubters were wrong
Let’s enjoy life one win at a time!
Pool Buddy 💦 no Diddy 😂 is balling & that's how the 12th man rotation will gone work & gone happen!!
Noon Pacific Time? I guess it makes sense to premiere your videos when people are actually awake.
I believe you mean 9pm Central European Time, just ahead of a chill Saturday night... 🙃
Good thing Stephen Curry has no structural damage on his ankle will only miss next two games
So are the dubs actually this good? Or is.this an early season fluke?
Nifty “Steph-back”… 😂
lol these are wide open shots
Please no more boring intros!!!
Speak for yourself
