one of the clearest and most precise videos on the over drive and Dorado I've seen so far. good job Robert. your video from last year was good as well. you covered all the details
That would be KILLER but the cost to develop that would be intense, and this boat would get even more expensive due to the technology. Sweet idea though dude! I guarantee you it'll happen before long...
I'd buy one myself just to see if I can do it, but they are WAY (WAY!) out of my meager salary range. One of these DIY guys will get a hold of one and figure out a way to add a small solar panel and keep it charged. It's not usually the big corporations that figure this stuff out, it's usually the little guy tinkering in his garage! For instance, the mods that kayak companies are coming out with now, we have been doing for many years but they started watching people do it on TH-cam and said, "let's add that!"
DEV-TV Outdoors I'm thinking on the concept, of a bicycle tire rotating the small generator wheel making lights work on a bicycle, but on a larger scale. This could also be used in conjunction with a solar panel keeping your battery's fresh for long trips and less fatigue. You could also power all your electronics and also install D.C. Plug for phone etc. The possibilities are endless. Someone will tinker and patent this.
+Kidbass. One of the very first peddle kayaks I seen was a DIY job and was basically a bicycle salvaged and mounted on a kayak, to put it simply and that was many years ago. There's a TH-cam video of something similar. So that makes it totally doable. No one with any money or clout has thought of it yet! I have solar power of sorts on my kayak. Not the way I like, but I have 2 solar battery banks that I carry with me that power my GoPro clones for endless power. I've never run one dead yet. So that's totally doable too. Someone will read this and think "I never thought of that!" and make millions and millions on our conversation. Unfortunately, we won't be able to buy one, because they will be priced so high only rich people can afford it, like all the other good stuff!!!
I was sitting thinking the exact same thing as I was watching it. I mean they make a electric powered bicycle that charges the battery when they peddle and when they get tired they can use the electric motor. I do not see how or why it would make the price go up. You can buy a Chinese bike like that for a few hundred bucks.
That would be KILLER but I agree, the cost to develop that would be intense, and this boat would get even more expensive due to the technology. Sweet idea though dude! One day...
I used an motor out of a discarded kids 12v car to drive my pedals, $20 use the foot pedal and wiring from same toy car. Glad to know I can get over a grand for it! Two days to make it work. Cog belt drive from a junk pile sweeper.
I didn't know they had this show in my backyard every year. I will go next month. Did they tell you how many amps the motor draws? That way you can calculate how much time you have in a battery or even solar options.
+The Bowser Journal: Living Our Own Story they didn't tell me but I will ask for you. ICAST is once a year but it's not open to the public. You have to get a pass from a retailer or manufacturer or media company to get in.
How are you supposed to transport that thing? Trailer? How heavy is it? How durable are the prop shafts, or are they removable so it will sit flat in the bed of a truck?
You could put it in the bed of a truck as is. I don’t think it’s out yet so I don’t know a final weight. You can check their website or Facebook for updates.
I'm looking at and wanting the compare this to the Predator PDL. On it you get 12 turns of the propeller per one turn of the peddle . What is the propeller turn per one peddle on this peddle system ? Which one is easier to move by peddling in the water ? Can you peddle this one in reverse? When the motor is connected is there a reverse? Will you do a side by side speed test using the Predator PDL so we can see which one moves through the water faster with less energy ? This one is almost 1,000 dollars more in price between than Predator PDL. Also will you do a side by side stability test . I'm just wanting to see if this one is worth 1,000 dollars more if I don't plan on getting a motor . In my state if you get a motor you have to get a get it registered and get a boat number then pay taxes on it every year .
This boat isn't out yet, so nobody has gotten it on the water except the internal FeelFree team. I don't have the answers to any of these questions except that there IS reverse when pedaled. I'm not sure about with the motor, I kind of doubt it. Not sure what the gear ratio is for the prop. I can't do a side-by-side test unless I get my hands on both a Predator PDL and the Dorado, so I doubt that'll happen. Hopefully someone else can when this boat comes out.
very cool looking yak but not for me more of a shallow river smallie fisherman. Robert what kind of weight are you looking at for that model before batteries....?????
They haven't said yet (and probably won't until the production models are coming out, this was still a prototype) but it's going to be a heavy boat. I'd guess 110-130 lbs.
Did he mention in detail on the pedal drive will work on the Lures? I understand that it will fit in the battery pod but I'm interested in how you would turn since the rudder is connected to the foot pegs.
You know Brandon, I didn't think about it when I was with Jim, but when I was editing this I had the SAME EXACT thought. My assumption is there's an aftermarket steering mechanism you have to install too. I'll try to find out because I'm curious as well.
If only I had a lot of money, this would be my next kayak. Alas, it will take years before it is available in my country, meaning I would have to import it, which adds another 25% to the price, not including shipping..
+Phelix Kelevra ah yeah, overseas can be difficult. Where are you located? A lot of kayak companies have dealers overseas. Not sure about FeelFree but worth looking into.
+Robert Field I'm in Norway, the land of expensive everything... So far the only Fishing Kayak I've found worth having is the Old Town Predator, so I might just end up with that one, but I am holding on a bit more in hopes of finding something more to my liking. Good video by the way! I enjoyed it, even though it breaks my heart thinking about what I can't get :) I should just up and move over the pond, everything would be so much cheaper as well ;)
Will this overdrive pedal/motor drive fit the Cabela's advanced angler 120 ?, which is made by feel free I hope so since I own one and can not find anything that fits it accessory wise...
They haven't announced weights yet and probably won't until the final production models are coming out. This was still a prototype so the weight will vary from the final product. Check back to their website when the boat comes out and it'll be listed there.
There's a hand control on pedal kayaks, usually on the left gunnel or on some boats it's on both sides. You can see me adjusting it in a lot of my fishing videos.
I mean I have a 13.5 w the sonar and I have the foot pedals for the rudder , and if I had the pedal to the kayak how would I control it if I am pedaling and trying to turn.
With electric motors, you now are required to register this kayak in a lot of states. Congratulations, you bought a boat. Next thing you know, all states will just require all kayaks to be registered!
Texas is $16 per yer sold every 2 years. so $32. Its really hard to hear people complain over $32 when they have a $3000 yak.. LOL My FFL 11.5 i had done in 10 min. and $32....
I think its cool, but we are talking 2500$ just for pedal drive and motor with no kayak! Im into a Nucanoe F12 with a motorguide xi5 gps and all accessories for 3k just think its too pricey for what you get
I hear ya man, it ain't cheap. Money's relative though, to some that price is nothing (such as bass boat guys wanting to convert over). Out of my price range tho for sure.
not really, its more for battery top up or longer battery operating hours. Can get small 100w flexi panels now days with smart controllers. easy to do.
This thing looks amazing! I've been a Predator 13 owner for years but due to shoulder problems and upcoming surgery. I need to get away from full paddling. Was looking at getting the Predator PDL until I saw this kayak. However someone high up from a kayak company says these feel free kayaks are crap made in China.
If I knew that this was gonna cost this much, I shoulda just waited to buy the Hobie outback. Ugh. I love my lure 13.5 but the cost for this is outrageous.
Robert Field I have checked but no comments as to when they are expecting the Dorado. I finally found a number to call customer service, and was told June of 18. Thanks for responding
What is the size of the motor? Since I would have to buy a battery, it would help to know how much energy is used. Peddling looks like it might be a little uncomfortable with the width of the paddles. This needs more information before spending that kind of money!!!
Both have their applications. This is a bit more versatile in where it can get into, and a skiff is faster. Just depends on your fishing style. But I hear you, it ain't cheap!
At what point does a kayak cease to be a kayak if you can't paddle it efficiently and unassisted? A kayak is supposed to be paddled. I get the convenience of the drives, however, I still want a good paddling, stable boat as a base. I dig the hybrid idea and the ease of the zero draft, very cool.
+NoneForYou I hear ya buddy. No kayak is for everybody. But I think there are plenty of anglers out there who couldn't care less about whether or not they can paddle it. I'm with you, personally, but to each their own ya know?
I've got a Lure 13.5 and yes it's not a streamlined dart but if you don't have spaghetti arms it paddles just like any other yak. I can paddle around all day with no fatigue. The only difference on the Lure paddling-wise I've noticed when I got it was it didn't have the ability to spin it 360 dragging a paddle as easily due to the hull design. Other than that most of the people that complain about them being tanks, slow, or bad to paddle usually are going off someone else's review and not actual experience.
you dont need the motor the pedals are fine but like he said you dont have to buy the motor you can buy the boat without the motor and get the motor down the road
Na, I like my Moken. The only thing I would change is I wish they offered something like the gravity seat for Moken 12.5. I understand that it is a tad narrower than the Lure and anseat that could be set that high would probably really work against its stability. And, the king fisher seat isn’t anything to sneeze at at all. Truthfully, this new monstrosity looks cool on first glance, but thinking about taking a paddle to it makes me want to shake my head. And if a “kayak” doesn’t paddle, should it really be called a kayak?
That’s why they don’t offer the same seat for the Moken, center of gravity would be too high for that hull. And this kayak isn’t made to be paddled, but it can be when necessary. Don’t know why it matters what ya call it. For some, this is the perfect platform. It’s not for me, and if it’s not for you, that’s okay! No boat is perfect for everyone.
Robert Field thanks for your reply. Our language and definitions for things are always changing- I get that, but the definition for Kayak is a certain kind of narrow boat that is propelled through the water by a double bladed paddle. No, it doesn’t really matter, I guess, except you don’t call a bass boat a kayak, or a John boat a pontoon. Honestly, I don’t really even see my Moken as a true kayak- not really. But it handles well with a paddle. I guess it means something to me because I grew up in the bottom of an open canoe. Bill Mason was a regular on my tv because dad was all into paddling technique. There’s no technique or finesse to it when a “kayak” paddles like a barge and you have to use a peddle drive. Some of the mystique is lost for me. And that’s just my opinion. You are right this boat is perfect for some folks! No doubt it would be a lot of fun and fishing would be a blast! But as far as the art that comes with being a good open canoeist, or kayaker- this boat is not true to form.
Maybe not on its own, but you can't say that when it's the only dedicated kayak motor of its kind. A lot of R&D went into developing it, and those costs add up. They have to make it last in saltwater, work well with the boat's hull design, etc.
My Twin Troller X-10 ( by Freedom Electric Marine ) has TWO salt-water grade MotorGuide ( 36 lbs thrust each, 72 lbs total thrust ) "heads" w/counter rotating props RECESSED & HIDDEN UP INSIDE each pontoon, and are completely protected by flush-mounted aluminum cages/grates, and is operated by twin, yet independent foot pedals with each having forward and reverse. It operates like a Bobcat or skid-steer. I can spin a 360 on-axis, even go exactly backwards, and hold my position perfectly in wind/current totally HANDS-FREE. Cost of each Motorguide head is $150 each. Props & motors never hit rocks, stumps, weeds, etc. Each pedal is TRUE variable-speed in forward or reverse. No dials to select "speed".......you barely press either pedal, the prop barely turns, etc. That equals all-day battery life for a 29 series 12 volt marine battery. 1 OR 2 anglers can stand, sit, even spin the elevated seats 360 degrees. 2 men can't capsize the Twin Troller if they tried. Cost of entire boat, ready to fish........$2,995. Just add the battery. Boat is 10' long x 48" wide, 175 lbs, and can fit in the bed of a standard size PU truck or SUV.......or is trailerable. Owners who bought the 1st Twin Trollers made 10 years ago are STILL using the original MotorGuide heads. Floats & operates in only 8" of water, and runs right over & through lily pads, grass, weeds, even over floating logs. Single-piece, seamless, roto-molded hull is practically indestructible. Also has an extremely strong transom for optional outboard motor. I bought my Twin Troller ( $2995 ), then bought a trailer ( Harbor Freight - on sale for $248, normally $375 ), built custom bunks out of 3 pressure-treated 2 x 4's, and bought a 3.5hp Tohatsu 4-stroke outboard ( on sale, new, for $950 ). My total cost with boat, outboard motor, trailer, and new battery was approx. $4,300. I wouldn't trade my Twin Troller for anything.
so on a boat or kayak that have build in light system, there are regulations those little underpowered lights dont look like they meet them, and it doesnt look like it has buit in deck lighting, and NO 360 degree lighting, SOOOO it would be easier not to buy a yack with no lights in the first place
+opticalriot first off, those regulations are typically state-enforced, so it depends on where you live. It does have built in deck lighting. The only statement of yours I can confirm is that it doesn't have 360-degree lighting, which is a requirement at night in some states (but not all).
Robert Field there's a boat called wave walker that's 3200 that's pedel powerd... My dad bought a brand new aluminium boat plus electric engine for 2999....with all bells n whistles
+techstyle123 right and there are pedal powered kayaks that start at $1800. But a pedal and motor hybrid drive has never been done. The first of anything is always pricey, lot of R&D went into it. I could throw this into the back of my truck by myself. An aluminum boat isn't as versatile. But that's a killer deal for your dad. To each their own buddy. There is no "right boat," just the boat that's right for you. If this isn't right for you, no worries! I just wanted to show people what's coming out. Thanks for checking out the video bud.
Robert Field yeah cool this is still a very good bit of kit and very portable too....like you say can be just put in van/truck and straight out. All the best dude
ya i do not think that is worth the money...for the over drive.. is that a strap holding the seat down. the lights have to be able to see 2 miles the hull is all most like Bonafide kayak look at both of them...
+Royal Krizberger they're both catamaran style hulls, yes. There's only a handful of viable hull styles, tons of manufacturers have overlaps in that department.
All that money where does the angler sit if he or she will be on the water for so many hours. Better getting a kayak with a small outboard fully kitted. In my opinion.
Not sure I understand your question? The Angler sits in the seat, and it’s a super nice one, too. Kayak hulls typically do not do well with outboard power.
They should sell a lot of them , maybe a dozen or so , I mean come on man , maybe for The extremist who had to spend as much as they can on something , but as a consumer I would turn my head at that retail , about 50% above what I would think of spending on a yak with a motor I would price that at 2900 with the motor , then it’s a little more realistic, Guarantee production costs are about 1600 to 1800 max per unit at a 1000 unit order, This is Just a personal opinion so I please don’t get butt hurt if you read this 😂
It’s more than $2500 for the pedals and motor. But a Hobie is $2500+ without a motor. They’re all in line of the same price, just depends on how much you wanna spend. We all have our own budgets, to some $2500 is nothing. But I agree, they aren’t cheap
Robert Field lol ok, if u said so. A pedal drive from hobbie turbo fins is 800 this one is $1,100. U can go with the mirage drive around $500 and still save plenty of money.
There are tons of kayaks out there for much less money. Someone has to make them for “the rich,” too. My first kayak was $450 and the fish didn’t care...
Robert Field haha your right fish don't care mine is 10 yo and was 350 but sitting low kills my back so I'm looking for a sit on top with a high seat. The feel free might be the way I go.
It's nice to have one of those I prefer with the outrigger just in case flip over with those outrageous cost of electronic system you have on the kayak.
one of the clearest and most precise videos on the over drive and Dorado I've seen so far. good job Robert. your video from last year was good as well. you covered all the details
Thanks man, doing my best!
Did they ever speed? If the speed is lost for the convenience of simplicity, bad thing! Also, the width of the paddles look uncomfortable!
Just the fact that they kept the previous owners in mind is awesome! And all around looks like a sweet rig! Thanx for sharing.💯👍🏻👊🏻🍻
And the 🎱just tops it off🤣😂
I thought so too! A lot of companies don't do that.
They should incorporate, an option to charge you battery as you peddle.
That would be KILLER but the cost to develop that would be intense, and this boat would get even more expensive due to the technology. Sweet idea though dude! I guarantee you it'll happen before long...

I thought so too!
As soon as this Kayak comes out on the market i will pick one up.
+Manvet 67 it definitely looks pretty sweet!
I am sold on it, can't wait for them to come out.
+Manvet 67 it looks pretty sweet!
Can't wait to get my hands on this thing!
it looks sweet dude!
Headwaters Kayak git an extra 5 thousand dollars in pocket change huh
You know it!
that is one crazy little star trekky yak!!!
They’ve come a long way.
Sweet rig.....I so want one.
Yes it is! They aren't cheap but this would be a super comfortable way to fish... and way cheaper than a bass boat!
Talk about Awesomeness!!!!
It's crazy how far our sport has come...
Yeah Peddle charging would be an awesome feature. it's possible but probably requires high cost for R&D
That would be KILLER but I agree, the cost to develop that would be intense, and this boat would get even more expensive due to the technology. Sweet idea though dude! One day...
you're right. By the way you have a crazy awesome channel. I'm twelve and you've convinced me to get a Bonafide ss107
+Gage Boykin nice Gage! Thanks for watching my vids. I think you'll like that boat!
love that fish brain hat!!! too funny
I used an motor out of a discarded kids 12v car to drive my pedals, $20 use the foot pedal and wiring from same toy car. Glad to know I can get over a grand for it! Two days to make it work. Cog belt drive from a junk pile sweeper.
+Michael Scott sounds pretty rad bro. But I'm not sure the performance and longevity will be identical
I'm just waiting for an order option through my dealer. lol. cash money waiting. It will be fun fall fishing! I'm stoked! good video!
Sweet dude! Let me know what you think about it when it's out.
I didn't know they had this show in my backyard every year. I will go next month. Did they tell you how many amps the motor draws? That way you can calculate how much time you have in a battery or even solar options.

I have friends in the retail business...I will bug them for next years event.
+The Bowser Journal: Living Our Own Story it's worth going! Very cool event
Cool looking good

Robert Field That's kind of what I thought as well. Thanks for the response and tight lines from Illinois...Keep the amazing videos coming!!!
That will be next
Any idea when this will be available. Can’t find it retail.
Think it just came out. Check their website.
Robert Field I couldn’t find it on their site or Facebook page.
Any up date on the release date yet?
Any idea on the speed it will travel with the motor and distance?
Check their website. I believe it's out.
Checked and all it says is coming in 2018. No listings or price shown. Nothing showing in the UK where i'm based either.
What is the LBS thrust of the motor?
If only I had a lot of money, this would be my next kayak. Alas, it will take years before it is available in my country, meaning I would have to import it, which adds another 25% to the price, not including shipping..

Good video by the way! I enjoyed it, even though it breaks my heart thinking about what I can't get :) I should just up and move over the pond, everything would be so much cheaper as well ;)
Will it float in really shallow water?
Not with the motor or pedal drive down
i wish i could own all these kayaks lol
Haha me too!
Don't you just love it when they design stuff only for the rich?!
Great kayak! Price bites though :)
+letun3481 yeah, it's not cheap
IT IS BEAUTIFUL ... IT IS LAMBORGHINI OF THE KAYAK ... IT IS SAD THAT IN BRAZIL NOT GOING TO HAVE THE SALE, I WANTED ONE OF THAT.
+Alexandre Mariano yeah it's hard to get some kayaks to Brazil.
That yak looks well over 200 lbs. Might as well add trailer cost as well cuz ain't nobody carrying that beast by themselves.
+Zeke aaron I bet it's closer to 120-130, but yeah it won't be light
Will this overdrive pedal/motor drive fit the Cabela's advanced angler 120 ?, which is made by feel free I hope so since I own one and can not find anything that fits it accessory wise...
+stinkyninja I do not think so, I believe it'll only fit the Lure
I wonder how it will do in shallow water ,if you lift it like other kayaks or a new way?
walter Duartes the whole unit lifts and rocks forward for zero draft.
It pops up and out of the way. I'm not sure of the details on the mechanism yet though.
Now does the pedal charge the battery?
How does it handles at sea? Offshore?
Won't know until I get in it! They aren't out yet, so Id on't think anyone knows.
Robert Field ok perfect! I will wait for that review and update. Thanks
日本に入ってくるのはいつですかね~楽しみにしてます
What is the weight of the kayak with and without the motor?
They haven't announced weights yet and probably won't until the final production models are coming out. This was still a prototype so the weight will vary from the final product. Check back to their website when the boat comes out and it'll be listed there.
On our previous ones, how do we control the rudder if we are pedaling .
When you paddle it should recharge the Battery
That would be siiiiick. I'm sure that'll come soon, our sport is progressing like crazy
Night fishing on the yak Sweeet!
Ohhhh yeah I thought the same thing
Sweet
I thought so too
Do they have two man models?
There are tandem kayaks out there, but not this boat.
With electric motors, you now are required to register this kayak in a lot of states. Congratulations, you bought a boat. Next thing you know, all states will just require all kayaks to be registered!
+Terry Barbier I didn't think registering a kayak was a huge deal? In Texas it was like a $109 one time fee.
Next thing you know you will be registering your bicycle!
Terry Barbier can't see that happening in China ...lol
Texas is $16 per yer sold every 2 years. so $32. Its really hard to hear people complain over $32 when they have a $3000 yak.. LOL My FFL 11.5 i had done in 10 min. and $32....
Mike Crow you obviously don't mind "BIG" government!
How fast goes?
Not very
I think its cool, but we are talking 2500$ just for pedal drive and motor with no kayak!
I need to talk to these folks I put a lot of boats in my books
+minrlwtr feelfreeus.com Jim is the owner
Many thanks!
Need to offer solar charger??
+One Eyed Jack that would take a huge panel to power this thing
not really, its more for battery top up or longer battery operating hours.
They’re made overseas, but I wouldn’t say they’re crap. Lots of pedal options out there though, many of which are made in the USA.
If I knew that this was gonna cost this much, I shoulda just waited to buy the Hobie outback. Ugh. I love my lure 13.5 but the cost for this is outrageous.
I can’t find anywhere to purchase this!!!!
It just came out. Check FeelFree’s website for dealers
Robert Field I have checked but no comments as to when they are expecting the Dorado. I finally found a number to call customer service, and was told June of 18. Thanks for responding
Does it have a wheel
In the keel? You know, I forgot to ask if they included that on this boat! I'll find out.
Thanks
Nice now that you got a battery lets get a real bait well and pump
Hobie makes one for their boats, and there are lots of DIY guides online for making your own.
oh thanks i will get that out
What is the size of the motor? Since I would have to buy a battery, it would help to know how much energy is used. Peddling looks like it might be a little uncomfortable with the width of the paddles. This needs more information before spending that kind of money!!!
$2500?!? What is the cost with the kayak?
I’m not sure but the boat is out now, quick google search should yield pricing info
Robert Field Robert, I can’t find it anywhere online??
Mine as well by a skiff for that price...
Both have their applications. This is a bit more versatile in where it can get into, and a skiff is faster. Just depends on your fishing style. But I hear you, it ain't cheap!
How much
+James Green we go over the pricing in the video... $3000 with the pedals and about $1500 for the optional motor add on
Drive is slick, but their boats are tubs which kind of kills the whole thing if you have the need to actually paddle it.
+NoneForYou I definitely think you want to avoid having to paddle this
At what point does a kayak cease to be a kayak if you can't paddle it efficiently and unassisted? A kayak is supposed to be paddled. I get the convenience of the drives, however, I still want a good paddling, stable boat as a base. I dig the hybrid idea and the ease of the zero draft, very cool.
+NoneForYou I hear ya buddy. No kayak is for everybody. But I think there are plenty of anglers out there who couldn't care less about whether or not they can paddle it. I'm with you, personally, but to each their own ya know?
Depends on what you want to do with it.
Are u kidding 1400 for that motor system? come on that is way tooo expensive.
+Barsch Onkel that's about average for these kayak motors. Most are in the $1,800 range.
you dont need the motor the pedals are fine but like he said you dont have to buy the motor you can buy the boat without the motor and get the motor down the road
God make my dream come true😌😌
i do electrical controls... THAT IS NOT A 1400 DOLLAR MOTOR!!!
Courtney Rutherford the one for the Hobie pro 14 is 2,500 way to much .
Maybe not on its own, but you can't say that when it's the only dedicated kayak motor of its kind. A lot of R&D went into developing it, and those costs add up. They have to make it last in saltwater, work well with the boat's hull design, etc.
Salt water is an enemy to everything except marine life!
Bassyak 5-700$ depending on package
when kayaks start costing more than descent used jon boat there's a problem.
Makes me want to Manufacture a Kayak for half the price to put these Greedy companies out of Business.
so on a boat or kayak that have build in light system, there are regulations those little underpowered lights dont look like they meet them, and it doesnt look like it has buit in deck lighting, and NO 360 degree lighting, SOOOO it would be easier not to buy a yack with no lights in the first place
+opticalriot first off, those regulations are typically state-enforced, so it depends on where you live. It does have built in deck lighting. The only statement of yours I can confirm is that it doesn't have 360-degree lighting, which is a requirement at night in some states (but not all).
Y yo que me acabo de comprar un wahoo S........
Como eu faço pra entender se eu não fala a língua deles ?
+Wilson Ferreira no entiendo amigo lo siento
Não entendo amigo
3k plus 1400=4400...way to expensive
+techstyle123 "too expensive" is a relative idea buddy. To some that's literally nothing. But I hear you, it's out of my price range as well.
Price is fucking unreal !!!!
Yeah. Steep
ya i do not think that is worth the money...for the over drive.. is that a strap holding the seat down. the lights have to be able to see 2 miles the hull is all most like Bonafide kayak look at both of them...
+Royal Krizberger they're both catamaran style hulls, yes. There's only a handful of viable hull styles, tons of manufacturers have overlaps in that department.
Dorado thats a shadow caster
+Steven Fields not sure what you mean?
Robert Field it looks like across between the Shadow Caster and Cabelas kayaks check it out. Back of a Shadow front of the one from Cabelas.
Ah gotcha. Several manufacturers are going to the catamaran tri-hull design.
They should sell a lot of them , maybe a dozen or so , I mean come on man , maybe for The extremist who had to spend as much as they can on something , but as a consumer I would turn my head at that retail , about 50% above what I would think of spending on a yak with a motor I would price that at 2900 with the motor , then it’s a little more realistic, Guarantee production costs are about 1600 to 1800 max per unit at a 1000 unit order, This is Just a personal opinion so I please don’t get butt hurt if you read this 😂
What an over priced load of shit. That drive system (over drive motor) is worth 1/8 that price at most.
Based on what? There’s nothing else like it in existence, so how can you say what it’s worth?
Crazy expensive for pedal drive and motor $2500 psst. get a hobbie or native or even better get a gheenoe.
Idk. A little to much
+Mike jones too much what?
nice kayak but not sure its worth 3k wish they had normal fisherman in mind not the rich, 3k is half my land taxes
MOKAI MOTO KAYAK Cheaper and faster
Interesting
It is verrrrryyyyyyy expensive..
It ain’t cheap
Way too expensive!
Everything’s relative
So much money
+jny78 it definitely isn't cheap
It's nice to have one of those I prefer with the outrigger just in case flip over with those outrageous cost of electronic system you have on the kayak.
cost more than a pro angler
+Gage Boykin right, but you're getting more than a pro angler... such as the motor.
