    Well thought-out design in this boat. Can't wait to see an in water review. Boat designs are really taking off to be awesome.

      Yeah, it's exciting to see how far our sport has come in the past 5 or 10 years. Who knows what's coming next?

    Wow! Flip down handles and 2 way storage hatches. Absolutely amazing! Bet it handles like a barge too.

    I like the high seat on it will be looking forward to see it in person..... they should make one that has a the option to put pedals in there and sell them separately....

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, some companies are doing that, like Nucanoe. Check 'em out.

    Great kayak, main issue is the back end swinging around in whatever direction the wind is blowing.

  • @RVFishingAdventures
    @RVFishingAdventures 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This looks good! One of the critical aspects of a hull that I have to know before buying a kayak is how the water hits it. Yep, I don't want the water splashing against the hull when I'm facing into the wind causing a loud racket. I've seen boats you could hear 300ft away because they were making a popping sound.. and most of those were catamaran hulls. So I'd want to see for sure how this does. Definitely worth checking out though and and price is good too! Thanks for posting this! -Mike

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Valid concerns, hull slap is a drag. A lot of times, the more weight in the boat, the less hull slap with a catamaran (I think). I'll be curious to see too. Those kinds of reasons are why I say always demo before ya buy.

    • @YakFishField

      They’re basically the same, the 107 is just 2 feet shorter. You can find out all about em from their website, Facebook, or your local dealer.

    Hey planning on getting one but do they ship worldwide?

  • @TheChico1332
    @TheChico1332 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Would this be a kayak to take out for longer distances and does it handle days with heavier wind conditions?

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +R Villarreal hard to say until I can get one on the water, but I hear it tracks well and it shouldn't be too slow. Probably better options for real long distance since stability and speed are a trade off and this thing is super stable. That front end may catch some wind but that's a problem most kayaks deal with. My advice would be to demo one before you buy once they hit dealers

    whats the weight rating on that seat? and does it come with a paddle?

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does not come with a paddle. I’m not sure of the seat’s weight rating but I know a guy that’s about 340 that fished out of this boat regularly.

    I'm a huge lover of my Vibe Sea Ghost 130, I cannot complain about it at all. But I would most definitely be in favor is getting into one of these bad boyz in favor. And the price point here is actually pretty nice. If I come into a little cash sometime, this is definitely a possible for me.

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah man it's pretty slick and I thought the price point was reasonable! Especially with all these $3,000+ pedal/motor kayaks coming out these days.

    God. I'm in such a dilemma. I really want this.... But I like the idea of having a pedal kayak. The ability to use your legs or switch and use your arms is nice. But this thing is badass.

    Nice yak, but in my own humble opinion, the Hobie ProAngler (especially the 17t) is the best fishing kayak.
    Yes, expensive, and a true beast, but you can go fishing for the kraken on that thing! 😁

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 17T is a very situational boat. It’s great for some things and terrible for others.

    • @teop7887
      @teop7887 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Robert Field
      It's biggest drawback is weight. It's a beast. Too much to handle for a single sailor. But, pound for pound, it does it all. It's a friggin boat!
      I have a Hobie TI, and I love it.
      But, the 17t can haul a whale shark, the family dog, and a bottle of water. 😎👍

    • @doobydoggshit
      @doobydoggshit 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For over 3000 I'm sure any kayak would be built with all of the features of the hobie... This is half the price and you get a pretty awesome kayak

    • @YakFishField
      @YakFishField  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven’t heard of that one

    • @Mat0
      @Mat0 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Robert Field it’s a perfectly capable, stand up, budget rig for a weekend angler, on sale goes for about $600. Most people on forums are haters. Same hull design. Another good example is the Cabela’s advanced angler 120. All the big name fan boys on forums are haters on that too, that’s designed by feelfree, which is identical to 3 waters big fish 120. Typical key board warriors.

    I wish one of these kayak makers would make a insulated hatch compartment where I can throw fish instead of carrying a cooler on the back of my kayak.

    • @YakFishField

      +abnsoulja1 you don't want it to open from the side on the water. You'd have to reach farther. And you can't make it do both (sides and front/back).

      Then u screw on yr brackets and parts. Glue or stick on parts. And then what?
      The labor to put in these parts could only take 30 minutes or less. Everything is plastic. Can't see how u come up with this outrageous price for a plastic molded Kayak.
