That gives me a lot of help because I’m 25 but I’m planning on going to medical school. I probably won’t start making money until I am in my 30s, which is only residency but At least I’ll have enough money to do this.

Get some fertility bloodwork now to start tracking your fertility. If your AMH is lower than expected or drops as you approach 30, you’ll need to freeze eggs sooner than later.

Is freezing a good option??
NO! Its a complete scam. Do your research. The success rate is around 13%. But most women dont even need the frozen eggs because most women are able to get pregnant naturally, even into their early 40s. This whole "you dry up at 35" is a construct of the egg freezing industry, to get your $!!!
Why not younger?
Great question! Fertility starts to decline at age 35, so many doctors recommend not freezing any earlier than this because you might end up freezing eggs in your early 20s but then get pregnant in your late 20s naturally and not need to use your frozen eggs.
So it's a good way to plan to wait to freeze your eggs until you're at the age where your fertility is starting to decline (35) and you're also not yet ready to have kids.
