This is irrelevant to the video but the decor in his flat is so colourful and unique and everything somehow matches. Love the little peranakan and Malayan motifs here and there and the red chair.
This is so inspiring. I've never really been stumped by anything in life, but finding the job was what really broke me. Those were the darkest days I've ever experienced, and it takes a lot for one to find value within ourselves and the motivation to stand on one's feet again. I hope some schools will hire Daniel to talk to them about it. It's very inspiring and his attitude and positivity is what everyone needs to have.
Kudos to Daniel for being resilient, as compared to those who only knows how to complain and whine when everyone is caught in the same spot. Be grateful for what u have, strive to be better and never give up.
I love his resilience. It is inspiring. I've been in the same situation about feeling like you have nothing to offer. And jobless. It's a horrible feeling.
Wow This guy has strong resilience and tenacity . His career with SIA indeed helped him to get to where he is. If I were retrench from SIA I would be in a position to say that working at SIA is a proud thing.
Yes totally! Nothing to be ashamed off for being different than the mainstream as long as you dont harm people you are not malicious you should not be subjected for anything humiliating for personal preferences.
Such an inspiration for many that got hit so hard they are lost and still not able to pick themselves up. He is fast to take the next step on things non related to his previous experience, like baking. In the midst of finding job, he look for training courses to upgrade himself. Amazing and i wanna learn from your positive attitude with life.
Such a positive and energetic personality! He must be a blessing and an asset to Airbnb. Good job in getting a job there :) Beautiful house btw but could be cooler
Singapore is sooo stable. Everyone takes it for granted that they should be set for life. If he is being real, being retrenched at 30 is nothing. 30 is still young enough that the hiring discrimination haven't hit in.
You are considered lucky. Certainly due to your resilence and persistance. However, the eyes catching for me is you have a very supportive parents for your life and lifestyle. I do admire that! Salam from Malaysia! 🤗
Every one is human being. Start respecting those people that come to work in Singapore and don't look down on them because their country didn't do well. Hope after this pandemic we respect and appreciate each other more.
You’re so talented and hardworking. Thanks for sharing the never give up spirit. Continue to go on to do many more great things! And I love cakes and brownies from @thebbcsg ! 👍🏻
Amazing! The circumstances are happening to everyone in the world. The outcome is what you make of it! If he's still selling basque cheesecake and in my city, I would totally be ordering from him
thats the thing, more reason for him to not have that accent. Or maybe he spent his time in the sun too long, u knw how the sun tends to do that to the skin.
Wow! He passed one of the toughest application process in the entire airline industry and ended up as a home baker? I hope he will make it with Airbnb. But as long as there are strict travel bans for tourism, it will be difficult.
i'm glad he also attributed part of his success to how Singapore (govt) provided stimulus both cash and in the form of upskilling to improve oneself. of course his success wouldn't have been as such without the recipe of grit, perseverance, creativity, hard work and support from his support system. too often, people take the resources around them for granted. the only snag i caught (or wasn't shared) was how he wasn't willing to take on jobs that paid lower but still a decent and honest wage.
I thought how come D-Cosh become this younger and slimmer. My bad! You already have that influencer traits but wish you all the best in your entrepreneurship !

@@callmetatia *Well, of course. Companies just don't pay over US$100,000 in an annual salary if you just study something garbage that has no value or a demand in the real world. I love his parents who are so very supportive.

Not everyone have it bad. The rich is going to become richer when they buy out all the businesses that went bankrupt for a low price.

What an inspiring story to keep us as Singaporeans going! He definitely doesn’t look like Dee Kosh. Jiayou!
What are u saying?! He looks exactly like Dee Kosh! SKINNY DEE KOSH!
Personally and for many, he does look like Dee Kosh. But that doesn't automatically make him a disturbing person
Good for you man, keep it up! Such a positive person.

i see him on sam chui video, he was on of SQ cabin crew from sin to newark

Eh... How come he looks more like an Indian rather than a Chinese? 🤔
he's singaporean
i think maybe both parents are to some degree peranakans (a mix of malay and chinese) then he is the product of mixed blood/heritage?
No way he looks Indian. If you say he looks Malay then I agree with u.
Thanks for sharing 🌻
Why does the title make it sound like SIA retrenched him lol.
Singapore govt is so good to its citizens.. giving Covid care support!
And took back in other forms? Maybe? Housing car? Swab test? Food? Maybe? Maybe... check prices in other countries .... maybe maybe...
Very very inspiring!! Jiayou!!!
