The one time the Eldritch Obsidian Horror would be thematically appropriate, and it gets Bisected by world generation. I like to think of it as Space Horror attempts to enter the world, World Says No.

you should add polymorph to any future modpacks to avoid conflicting recipes, it adds a button to swap recipes when crafting so at 44:58 you would be able to just press a button and it would switch to the wrench recipe
If you make a 200 days, try turning off your shaders while in the space station. You’ll be able to see the earth below you and it’s really cool.

I believe the real life reason why space suits use orange glass in the helmets, is due to the fact that UV rays are basically untamed in space, and would burn human retinas if not properly filtered. It's the same principle that makes your eyes hurt when you stare at a screen too long but multiplied by the millions.

I think that obsidian asteroid was its replacement, there was a bit of a tone shift when he mentioned it… but it looks like Legundo ditched the planet before it could pull him anywhere 😅

@@marveludus the meteor was the big one yeh, but interestingly he managed to escape the planet before it could pull him anywhere… maybe things are changing?
Fun fact: despite being the closest planet to the sun, Mercury isn’t the hottest planet. It’s the second hottest planet. The title for hottest planet goes to Venus, the second planet from the sun.
Venus’ atmosphere is so dense and filled with greenhouse gasses that any heat the sun gives off is absorbed and is trapped, building up more and more over millions of years. Mercury is the opposite: it has no real atmosphere at all. If you look at mercury, it basically looks like a giant version of Earth’s moon because it has no atmosphere to protect it from meteoroid strikes. This also means that any heat and light basically bounces off the surface of Mercury
The surface of Venus is basically entirely flat planes of rock, and the surface is made of silicates which had a melting point too high for their to be any surface lava (plus the dense atmosphere makes the melting point even higher). But in Minecraft, the basalt deltas on Venus is fine because it’s a fantasy sandbox game, and endless plains of just rock would be boring

I loved this. I feel like it would be a bit more enjoyable if it wasnt so rushed. I got left behind in the modded crafting/engineering aspect but i love it. A slower series would be so fun to watch if you ever decided to do the space mod again!

1:31:20 feel like that isn't a bug, but just that the block wasnt meant to keep it's inventory when broken. You know, like vanilla chests or the seared table/basin from tinkers construct

i love these videos, they're so entertaining and also really good at being background noise??? (i mean that in the most positive way) I have a lot of trouble focusing when i have no background noise but if i have too much i also cant focus, so a lot of the time its hard to find something i can just have on and these videos are always amazing for that- i got so much done while i was watching this its insane

Pro tip: make a sheep farm early on, stack up a bunch of wool, and then use beds instead of TNT, it’s a lot less effort

Not gonna lie, I was really hoping your moon base would have included the villagers on the moon as well. Use their base as infrastructure for your own.
Really hoping that one of these episodes you decide to adopt and grow a village into a whole city that you are also the primary defender of. Would love to see you make a villager city in Minecraft.
