I love that even after foxes have hopped the fence three separate times Legs still refuses to put a roof on the animal pen and is shocked when it happens a fourth time 😭

36:30 idyll is described as a peaceful interlude, scene or incident, especially in rustic life. Usually idealized and unsustainable in context. So the idyll phase in this map fits quite well if I'm honest, in-between the nether and the desolate lands, it's a nice little break to just chill out and have a good time without too much worry.
Also I so 100% support u not doing all hardcore all the time. It gets old if it's all that goes on, and this lower stakes fun time "let's play a map and tell a story" deal is very nice.
Yesss. Just because he likes hardcore doesn't mean he has to stay hardcore forever. He's allowed to differ.
32:06 You can, however, make a cobblestone generator to get a lot more blocks that don't burn so as to blaze-proof the area close to the Oneblock.
Fun fact, the wolves would have naturally warded off the foxes away from the pen if they were not in the boat
And the polar bears attacked the fox at the start Wich he could use them to kill the Foxes

Lol I'm literally just doing this same challenge now. Except it's the one block reborn so it's got 1.20. One thing I found worked was I made a pit under the block so any mobs that spawned I could push them in.

Speaking of silverfish there is a video of a silverfish xp farm using the create mod. It's nice to see they finally get a use. Cobble farm then smelt then haunt with soul campfire. Then place and break and loads of silverfish spawn and you can get xp from them for mending whenever you want.
Important! Crops grow faster if you plant in rows and alternate them

I'm going to just comment now and say that I hope he makes a furnace at some point and grow a bunch more trees to have access to charcoal so he won't need to worry about not having enough torches.
and he got 4 spruce saplings and proceeded to plant them one at a time instead of a 2x2 to get a giant one and much more wood...
I think Legudno is my favorite MC TH-camr because his genuine excitement with the first tree was just amazing

i played the server on season 1 and it took me literal hours to get an arctic wolf (2 of them) so i could breed them

for the next scenario I recommend the modpack one for all, as it is this but modded, with endless amounts of new interesting things going on. And hey, it's still 1.16, so it's not super old or smt.

Actually I'm surprised he didn't make a villager breeder, iron farm, trading hall, and an og mob farm so he can get resources quicker. Like, also those are essential for any type of skyblock world, including Oneblock.

You can bonemeal partial water to create source blocks giving you second sources of water

I think the theme for idyll is sky cause you got attacked by phantoms which are sky mobs and the quartz which represented the clouds.

I'm honestly massively enjoying it, I've only just started watching videos on it now as i didnt want to spoil my first play through, but it appears I've built whats known on youtube as a mega base for my first one haha. Built a massive subterranean kingdom with halls, a massive rotating tower, a massive rotating duke nukem bit art, a floating island and waterfall, i spent 8 hours figuring out how the Create mod worked and building a fully automated chicken sandwich factory etc. I'm currently trying to understand the Botania and Bewitchment mods. I keep finding mods i didnt even know were in my game haha
