Patiently waiting for my opinion to arrive on what the best damage will be after the update.
Same I’m guessing because of how good rocket dumping strats are the reserves buffs will make those better but dos will be better for a few encounters on apex.
But thats just to put it simply and I could be entirely wrong

Love this series, thanks for all the time you put into it! Not sure what your plans are long term but i would totally watch dungeon speedrun breakdowns too, and it would be cool to see updates like "how we cut x minutes off the WR" outlining whatever key tech has been innovated between records.
Also, I always find myself looking for any subset of speedrun tech that I could use in casual raiding to help speed things up, be it more efficient damage strats (like verity's on rhulk) or minor skips/simple ways to make things a little faster. It could be cool to have a series like "here's the speedrun tech for (raid) that you can learn and use in your casual runs" - knowing most of my friends aren't going to hyper-optimize timings or learn OOBs like a dedicated speeds team

I definitely agree, I'd like some guides on stuff I can do to help my less sweaty/tryharding clanmates. I think Llama does a solid job with some of these things, like the 1 phase every raid boss guide(he got my clan off of linears for ir yut. I ran a ghornless rocket out of protest but they did not listen until his video). But yeah a guide specifically for this, stuff that 1 or 2 players can do to improve team performance like skips that don't involve friendship cps
@@catgirlconnoisseur1024Yeah exactly - in my group it's basically me and one friend that are really into watching speedruns and minmaxing, a couple people that are into having the best loot and rotations but don't play regularly, and a couple that are very casual and just along for the ride. I love finding ways to get raids faster with this group but full team effort is basically out of the question

Daughters strat is so sick. The first few seconds with the team kills -> wellbounce was sick but the desync trick to get both shields down is crazy
I really appreciate this breakdown. I wish you could do this for sunset raids but I know you didn't speedrun, or even play back then. At least if I recall correctly. But I none the less these breakdowns are cool. That titan desync is so cool. I think we discovered that only in like season 17 or whenever it was that we had classy restoration but I could be wrong. The fact this is still in the game is wild but I love it.

I have a question about the brand in the middle for totems. Does killing unstop ogre with rightbrand give deathsinger? Im only thinking that cause it's hive, but maybe it doesn't count as stacks
yes any hive in the encounter count for stacks same for taken with the other brand (including the brand knights)

When my Fireteam tried the totems solo run strat the wipe screen kept showing very low deathsinger stacks deposited. Is that normal or did the brand holders have to stand on the edge of the plate for it to count? Thank you D2 speedrunners

Mr aeigis what is your opinion on the horseman “bug” just wondering bc I have never done it but have seen it.
It doesn't really work for practical purposes rn but it can be exploited using network manipulation, so a lot of farmers use it to do a lot of damage atm

Is it common for speedrunners to use a macro for well skate? I'm just curious how many times, if ever, a run ended because of someone messing up the imputs.
ANY macro is banned in speedruns.

@@LilBert420 I agree with you. I rarely mess up the skate but was thinking that during speedruns some people might prefer a macro for 100% consistency. But as I've just learned macros are banned in speeds so that makes me appreciate watching WR runs more.
@@christianandreano8170 no use honestly. the inputs on wellskate are extremely forgiving compared to some of the tricks that runners do, especially in other games. all of the guys are top players as well, so I would assume that it very rarely ever happens. not enough for it to matter.

wouldn't blade be better with x4 star eaters for damage? idk ill consistently hit around over half a mil in first phase from my goldie teammates when they are using the same loadout but thats in lfgs. but now thinking about it we usually are in wells so that cucks damage. just food for thought great video continue to keep up the great work

I know this is two months late, but can you explain the totems a bit more? maybe a bit more step by step of what the side people should/are doing? rather then just the people mid
2 people solo reset totems so no wipe, get poison resets from auras mid
4 people 2 man left/right brands while killing adds with Gjally and making ammo off taken knights

@@TheAegisRelic well wouldnt you agree that mastery of transitions is almost as important as mastering encounters in a speedrun? in my opinion some of them require more skill than an encounter, you could however teach a team of small server lfgs how to throw glacier nades and die and they would probably catch on pretty quickly

I was in class but since I have some more time now - we have been using exploits to manipulate spawn locations and skip what would normally be long traversal/movement sections since the beginning of Destiny, and banning a strategy that is in line with the idea of going as fast as possible in order to support only one aspect of speedrunning doesn't make sense
