Christmas Trees - painted and turned pine trees

This video shows a simple way to make small Christmas trees for decorating. First is to turn a simple cone tree shape. Then paint and turn the fringed curls - this is why pine works best. Lastly is to turn and decorate the stem and foot and then part off. Make several at once and create a grouping of trees. Happy turning.

What a neat technique! I haven't seen that before. Super cool. What type of paint did you use? Standard acrylic craft paint?
