I’m using the stock Laguna live center on the tailstock side. If you have the 18-36 you can remove the cone center that is on the live center by dropping a small piece of metal into the hole on the body (I use an Allen wrench) rotate spindle until it drops through the spindle, and then it will lock the spindle. Then you can insert a bar into the center and then unscrew it off of the live center. That’s for the larger Laguna Wood lathes I’m not sure which equipment comes with the smaller lathes.
