The yellow tool is called a "level". You plug the machine into a "plug". The word you were looking for was "improvise".. You are doing great with your English!!! Your construction site is amazing!!
I'm sorry, I missed quite a few of your videos and struggling to catch up 🙈. Oh yes, I want to decoupage a wall 🙊. Yep, correct pronunciation😁. Oh what an AWESOME idea 💡and I have an empty canvas frame and a small window! Oh and a little matching shelf maybe! Matt gel is so awesome! I think you're saying synthetic brush is best. Lol you had the same idea and it looks fantastic😍😍😍. You can use Tim's distress micro glaze to seal the oxide and makes it waterproof. It's expensive but sure to be a cheaper alternative. Your house is coming along great 👍. Wow that machine is mad! I'd be using "no nails' as it's very strong. That's a spirit level😁. And improvise is the word you're looking for😁. It looks brilliant Luise😍😍😍. Don't apologise honey, we see fine. 👏👏👏👏👏, I love your brain 😁. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Luise, the tool is called a level in English, but when you use it to ensure the vertical slats are straight, that is called plumb. The English word you were looking for is improvisation.
Luise: you did an amazing job. As an interior designer, I love when someone does a DIY project and does it well. Kudos to you. Your kitchen is very inviting. Congrats to you. Carol from California
Hello Luise, WOW, I REALLY loved what you did with your windows. If ever you get tired of doing Journaling, you can always become a decorator, you did a wonderful job. Love the Tim Holtz paper, but it is almost impossible to get here We can get one from Poland more easily, but it is not like Tim Holts. Timmy is the best!!!!! Thank you Luise for showing us your dear little house and for the decorating of the windows. Blessings and hugs, as always, from Cape Town. Diana.
Good morning, Luise! I'm a bit behind watching your videos, so I hope you'll still see my reply. I absolutely love your little home. The knotty pine walls are beautiful. We have knotty pine walls in the little cottage we inherited from my husband's family. It was built by his grandfather. Over the 85 years of its existence, the walls have aged a beautiful golden color, which makes the ambient light in the cottage very warm and cozy. I don't know what was used as a finish on the walls. It was either some kind of varnish or perhaps shellac. But I love it, and I think your little home is just as cozy. Thank you for being so brave to allow us a peek inside. Your Tim Holz window frames are so cool and are perfectly suited to the personality of your home.
Oh thats really interesting I love your tiny house its on my list to have with a huge craft room of course lol You explain it very clearly in English and its not your first language 🤗 Cheers 🇦🇺🍻
Love 💜 Seeing you do a project like this too. This is the type of crazy stuff I start and my hubby shakes his head. But…. When it’s completed he always loves it. PLEASE Never stop sharing with us.
You are so talented in so many areas. You and your mate have done an amazing job on your tiny home. GREAT JOB.....SO CUTE.I love your style. ❤❤😊😊 Awesome.
Fabulous! Your windows look incredible with this added touch. Thank you for sharing. I’ve covered a vintage suitcase and an old worn leather pair of boots with the Tim Holtz tissue paper! Love it!
Loved this project dear Luise, worked out so well. By the way with your noisy staple machine, you put the plug into the ' wall socket' that's the hole in the wall, and the bar to get things straight we call a 'spirit level'. And your little edge is indeed ' improvised' . Hope that helps, but your English is so good in general you really need not worry, we all understand your explanations. If only I could speak German half as well. Love n hugs as always to you and Gerri in you wonderful tiny house which is beautiful. Good health and good cheer dear friend from Victoria in England 👍👏🏼😘💐😘
In the US we call what you put the staple machine plug in an electric socket or receptical and I am thinking you may have been using an air compressor. Carpenters have a number of tools that they can connect to it like a finish nailer as well as the stapler. The yellow thing we call a level. Luise, if you want to distress your edges, have you considered using archival ink since it is permanent?
@@candmmom Yes! Tim now has a bunch of his Distress Inks in the Ranger permanent ink line! Black Soot, Vintage Photo, and 2 others come in a set, but he’s trying to get others in that line also. GREAT IDEA!
I think you did a magnificent job installing your decorative window frames, Luise. It is a unique and delightful decorative idea. You have such a cute tiny home and such a wonderful place to make your art. I imagine, you have finished the interior by now, if not really close. I enjoyed seeing the tour of your home, a short while ago. It is so cute.
Really cool, Luise. Yes, in threes. Something to the right and left will bring it together. Can't wait to see your finished creation (s). Love you, gf.
Luise,, you inspire me! Awesome idea! Had to laugh when you said that you weren't ready for video...I guess meaning not tidy, lil messy?! (Sometimes the best creations come from " messy".) It made me think " what Luise, you cant do EVERYTHING at once, create, cook and clean when doing renovations?? Don't worry, I'm sure we all understand cuz we prolly been there... You rock!
It's no problem to us Luise, we love you as you are 😘👍 as we say - ' you can't make an omelette without cracking some eggs'. Just do your thing and know we back you all the way. Hugs from Victoria xxx
Sweet idea! I love it, Luise! And your tiny house is so cozy and delightful. Love this Tim Holtz paper as a trim idea! Thank you for broadening our view to imagine other ways to use our crafting supplies. Thank you! From Cheryl in AZ, USA.
Luisa, thanks for sharing that beautiful and creative idea! Also, I love your lovely tiny home that seems kind of large. We just call the yellow thing a level.🤗🥰
I love it. That rail you have above the gray wood, we call that a chair rail here in the U.S. I think you did a great job showing us. Y'all did a wonderful job with the construction, and I like it. Love how the 2 papers go so well together. What a great idea! Looks amazing!! Barbara will be happy you did 3 windows in a “triangle” shape. Lol!!! Your new entry & kitchen are looking great! You guys did a wonderful job! Tfs. ENJOY!!!
Haha.... We first wanted to put a fourth window to the other wall next to the sink. Then I thought: no, that's impossible because it would NOT be a triangle with those frames, Barbara would say: don't do that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a great idea! I use this paper all the time. The tool you use,in English is called a level. You are such a wonderful teacher, Luise. 💜 ps love, love your Tiny House. Thank you for the tour! 💕
Luise you did good. The windows are beautiful. I could see the alright. Loved them. Makes me want to try this. I've been wanting to do something like that to my bedroom window. Thanks for the instructions and inspiration. Stay safe . Love you.🤗🤗🤗👍
