Two beautiful people have been invited into my home for the last 25 days. I laugh with you, I cry with you, I learn from you. Then I create, (but not nearly as well as you) How generous to share yourself and your art with me and the many others out there who also watch. My words cannot thank you enough. You don’t realize how much you touch my heart and how I’ve loved having you “here” in my home.
Everyday I was stunned at your beautiful creations. It was so fun to spend each day with you. Although I did not have the opportunity to make anything, I look forward to January to rewatch and craft away. Thank you for the gift of you.
The actual "prize" for us is the 50 videos that have inspired us, taught us, and made us cry. I am sad that it's over, but will be rewatching them, taking notes, and doing my own soon. THANK YOU FOR THE FREEBIES AND DISCOUNT CODES!!!!!
What a gift you have given us. I dont have a big family and so Christmas is not the best time of the year for me, no happy faces around the Christmas tree, but now I have two amazing, creative and generous friends I see every day in December. You may not realise it but the lead up to Christmas is the very best time of the year to do this - opening each video is like a youtube advent calendar, a fabulous distraction from the outside world and a buffer against lonliness. I cant thank you enough for the joy this has brought me and clearly so many other people. You two give me faith in the inner goodness and generosity of people. I do hope you will consider doing it again, it is building so much love and joy in a troubled world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
Our world truly is a smaller place when we share and care about each other. You and Barbara are wonderful examples of how to be loving, helpful neighbors. Well done! Thank you!
Sigh. It’s so hard to put into words how much this series has meant to me. I lost my mom a few months ago and this was my first Christmas without her. Joining you everyday has been such a welcome distraction. I love the things I was inspired to create and can’t wait to create a journal to keep them in. Thank you so much for all the work you have put into this. I can barely wait for next year! Please include another fun element next year like the animals were this year.
Telena, I am so sorry for your loss. ❤ How beautiful that you had this amazing craft community especially Luise and Barbara to help you through this difficult time
I am very sorry for your loss, Telena. I agree this series has been a welcome distraction for me. Whenever I am feeling stressed (just about life) I turn Luise or Barbara on and they keep me relaxed. Wishing you a happy new year 🌷
Hugs to you and condolences on your loss. I started junk journaling in 2020 due to losses in my family as well and that's when I found Luise and Barbara. It's been so therapeutic, but beyond that even, and I hope you experience much love and peace with your creations.
This series has been so wonderful and inspirational for me. You can not improve perfection. Every day I have asked my dog if she's ready to watch DEPHEMEREMBER that she now knows the word. 😆. The only way to improve this is by taking some time off and preparing for Januarephemerember!!! 😂. 💜💜 💜! You are my favorite!
Oh I'm so thrilled to live on such an island with so many amazing artists with the best teachers. You are Both so amazing! Dephemerember should become a yearly thing. We do realize the extra work yall have to do and we sooooo appreciate it. Merry Christmas. Love you 😘😘
"It started with love." A love in friendship. A love of scrapbooking. A love of community... and that love has spread all over the globe. I think it is funny that you and Barbara talked about what you can give to us, because you have already given us so much!!
Oh My Stars ❤ I have loved watching both of you make your version of each prompt ♥ You both are so talented and amaze me each time... I have created when I could, just watched and learned when I just felt frozen, I've giggled and cried and even splattered gold and white paint on my own creations ❤ I'd give anything to meet you both. You'll never know just how much love and respect we all have for the both of you....THANK YOU❣❣❣❣❣
I just want to say thank you for all of the hours you’ve put into this. It’s been so special getting to watch you and Barbara each day making your ephemera. You are incredibly talented and I’ve learned so much from you. And I love your heart and how sentimental you are. Thank you so much. From Texas, USA
I can't believe how fast 25 days can go Luise, what an enjoyable challenge. Thank you so much to you and Barbara for hosting an amazing challenge. I first found your channel about a year ago and was hooked, absolutely love your style, your creativity, your experimental sense of adventure. I love the way you created your continent of Dephemerember and am proud to be a Dephemerembian. Because of you I have learnt so much, I'm much braver than I used to be. You have such a wonderful presence, many people have said it is like crafting with a friend when watching one of your videos, I wholeheartedly agree. You bought me to tears in video 24 and made me laugh in many more, you are definitely 'in my alley'. Thank you so much, can't wait to see you in the New Year, Merry Christmas. Much love and admiration from Queensland, Australia. xxx
This has been a wonderful series. I have learned so much from both of you. When you create your own versions of things it is always amazing. The creativity has been so inspiring. I love how you teach us to use what we have. I giggled every day seeing you try each snack! Most of all, the tributes to each other and your friendship was so heartwarming and beautiful. Two beautiful souls making such beautiful art!
Thank you so much to you and Barbara for the most wonderful, inspirational series. I watched last year already and was very sad when your first Dephemerember ended, not thinking there would be another and even more inspirational than the last. Congrats on this wonderful collaboration and am truly hoping there will be many more to come! Soooo 😎! Thanks again to both of you! 👌👍😀🤗
Dephemerember = super idea!!! 🌹Luiza and 49dragonflies - you are my online teachers and mentors. 🍀Your movies are a great series always with a positive ending 🥰😍😘Thank you for allowing me to learn, create and derive pure joy from it💞❣❣❣
I so loved this series! I have started each day this month by watching you and Barbara take the same prompts but each creating something so different. I so hope that you do it again in 2023 even though I know that it is a lot of work for the both of you, but it is so worthwhile for each of us that watch the two of you. Love it. Thank you so much!! 😄😄😄
Dephemerember…I am in the process of an unexpected move during the worst winter weather we’ve had in a long time. Every evening I was able to sit down and enjoy your videos as well as other creators participating. I’m going to start in January when my craft room is set up. Please do this again, the series is so much fun.
What fun this has been! Especially since December can always be a bit hectic. You always provided a little corner in the world to relax and have a good laugh. That tinned fish was an accomplishment of true paper engineering! So fun! And I like the dear friendship between you and Barbara. Very heartfelt. The snacks...yes! All of it. I wouldn't change a thing! ❤
Your video today is the best part of my day. I've saved every video from you and 49dragonflies to create with you when I have some more supplies. I'm just starting my journey into junk journals and your creativity, along with Barbara's, is so very inspiring! I love love love that little frog!
I discovered junk journalling during lockdown...I had never even heard of the word 'ephemera' . It is now a word I use daily! My 8 year old granddaughter made a junk journal advent calendar for her mum and my partner's daughter brought me beautiful ephemera from China where she is living. The junk journal love is spreading in my family and it is a wonderful thing! Your love for the art is inspirational and your humour and philosophical thought whilst delivering your videos makes them so interesting to watch. I am 52 years old and have been so excited to get home from work and watch your videos . Roll on Dephemerember 2023!! ❤️🥰
The words you shared with us with each step of this project brings happiness and tears of joy; goodness... how wonderful and nice of you to share them with us. Thank you so much. If you've ever heard the words... "April showers bring May flowers"... well, sometimes tears bring and result in much happiness. I like the words you used because they remind me of the words you spoke about Dephemerember and Barbara... it started with love, you were always thinking of her, you were both following your heart, and I think y'all and your followers loved everything. Very nice indeed.
I am feeling sad that this is the last day of dephemerember but a big thank you from the bottom of my heart. I looked forward every day to see what you were going to create from your prompt list. It was very inspiring, and so much fun. I had many daily laughs and cried with you. I learned so much. You are a joy and a blessing for all of us. It’s A lot of work to do daily videos. Every day you created gorgeous pieces of artwork for your stunning journal. Thank you for sharing your talents. I loved your daily gorgeous paper bags.
Weiter so. Wir können uns durch euch wie eine große Familie fühlen. Weiter so. 🥰🤩
I want to dance in the rain with all the Dephemerember artists on this wonderful continent! One final animal symbols is the Birdy which is infinite possibilities. Dephemerember is so fun. Thanks for all the work you have done!!
I have really enjoyed these dephemerember videos! I have so enjoyed seeing them each day and getting to know you a little better through them. You and Barbara have such a special friendship and it is so wonderful to listen to both of you talk about it. I can't think of anything that I did not like about dephemerember this year. Thank you so much for all your hard work and sharing with us.
It has been truly inspirationel to follow you and Barbaras 25 episodes but just as indpirational to listen to your story of friendship. We can learn new things all through life and we can find new friendships that may last for life. Thank you😊
I cannot thank you and Barbara enough for doing this series. This has given me so much joy. I am proud to live on the Dephemerember continent [even if I have not posted my work yet] and to see the amazing work of so many other artists. So inspiring. I know how much work you and Barbara put in to creating all your videos ,however would love it if there could be a Dephemerember 2023
This was so much fun I'm glad I have been able to share it with you and Barbara hugs to you both. You have given me more than you know I've been at my art table more often and even hubby was happy to see me creating more. Thank you so much.. your both a blessing to our community.
I loved when you guys would try new things and being able to see your mistakes and what you do with them. Thank you for all the freebies. You guys put so much love into all you do.
Because if this series that I found by accident, I am making my first junk journal. I never understood what their value was until I have heard the stories of you and Barbara's hearts as you go through the creative process. Today the story of the formation of the continent, I actually felt like one of those little pieces of rice. I have gone back and am learning from your past videos how to select my paper and making my signatures. I will replay all of these again in Jan as I start filling my journal with Dephemerember inspired creations. Please, I know this is a tremendous amount of work, but there just has to be a new series in 2023. The theme could be flowers, ocean creatures, or famous landmarks around the world. TY and Merry Christmas from Florida.
I didn’t know that Pez originated in Austria until today. I loved them as a child and had many different dispensers. The time and effort that you and Barbara put into the Dephemerember series is beyond my capability to imagine. Louise, you delivered 2 videos every day! The generosity in all the freebies and discounts were such special gifts. Some of my favorite memories are of seeing both of you create things that were a bit on the sillier side of what is normal for your videos. We saw you both think outside the box, which helps all of us do the same. The snack ratings and your candy journal were fun, too! Thank you for making my December so joyous! ❤
I don't think you realise what a huge impact all your hard work and commitment everyday has meant to many creatives.Sharing yourselves and your thoughtprocesses so unselfishly in the spirit of Christmas, spreading joy and kindness.A huge thankyou from South Africa. Many blessings for the future!
Thank you so much for each and every day of Dephemerember 2022! It was a great success! I especially loved watching your creative minds at work! You both are so talented and have inspired us beyond measure! I always looked forward to watching you experience the international snacks! You're such a hoot! I hope you both agree to continue next year...can't wait!
To share your beautiful stories, your affection for each other, is a gift enough Luise!!❤️❤️then enjoying watching your immense talent is the bonus!! Thank you to both of you and Barbara, Luise!!🙏
Dear Luise, Thank you so much for all the beautiful ideas and the time you spend on making videos to inspire us. Joining in Dephemerember was an adventure again. It was a challenge and definitely not easy, but sooooo much fun. A big thank you and a hug from a fan 😘
Luise, this series has been so inspirational in so many ways. Your creative genius, your child like spirit and your vulnerability have been absolutely refreshing! It’s just magical when you create from a prompt; a sparked idea becoming a reality. For many of us, crafting is our therapy. This series came during a time of family loss, but made each day a joy. If I would change anything, maybe the treats didn’t need a ranking, since “feelings” may have been hurt. Although, I had the same thoughts about the US treats. ;-) Happy Crafting,
Oh Luisa, this video and these works of art are so special❤ I just love how each one turned out. Your work is so meaningful, so much thought behind each and every aspect. Yes to dephemerember 2023. I am just now making my first junk journal and received so much inspiration from yours and Barbara's videos....the artwork and techniques. I love the animals and would love for you to do that again and include a lemur next time. I look forward to each and every video you publish and it has been a pleasure to get to know you❤❤❤
This month has been the most crafting I’ve done with the least amount of time I’ve had. Y’all have given me so many new ideas and I’ve been able to use up a bunch of my hibernating supplies. Thank you so much for all the hard work, time and energy that you both put into it. I wish I had something to contribute to improvements, but I found it was wonderful as it was 🥰
One of the best parts of this year's Dephemerember series was the gorgeous journals you both made. The bags were of course amazing and the snacks were so much fun - your face is so expressive. Made me laugh out loud so many times. I hope you do this again next year but I don't have any idea how you could top the past 2 years. I have loved every minute. It's so special to see you work and hear your thoughts as you go. Merry Christmas and take a nice long nap to refresh for 2023.
It has been so much fun to watch this dephemerember series. Watching you reach outside your comfort zone to explore different 'what if?-" has made me more fearless when I sit down to create my own journal pages. And it wouldn't have been nearly so much fun without exploring new confectionery treats. Watching your face as you describe what you are tasting has been priceless!
It has been so much fun looking forward to this everyday. Especially loved all the snacks. And you’re reaction to all the tastes and flavors. ! Looking forward to next year. You two make quite a pair.
Luise, just when I needed something new in my life I found you and Barbara. You especially have taught me how to think “outside the box.” The most special thing for me about Dephemerember is the friendship you and Barbara have and how open hearted you both are. From that point you have created a community that is meaningful. Isn’t that amazing? We are all blesssed.
Such a creative and lovely way to include a tribute to your viewers in your Dephemerember continent story! Thank you so much for presenting this series! It truly helps spark our imaginations to create junk journal love! Happy New Year!
I do not have the words to express the gratitude I feel for Barbara and you. You two are so inspirational and such a great distraction from this crazy world. I am happy to be on the dephemerember continent with the rest of this wonderful community. I loved watching your face as you tasted the snacks. I hope you found some new favorites. Thank you for leading us on this adventure that pushes us out of our comfort zones at times and helps us grow as creators. I can’t believe its over! Get some rest and recharge. Thank you!!
Luise, this has been an absolutely wonderful series. I have laughed with you and cried with you through this series. I can’t think of anything that could improve Dephemerember. The only sad thing about it is that today is the last day. You are an amazing artist. Merry Christmas! I just came back and edited my comment. I think it would be interesting for you to do a podcast with Barbara and discuss how you felt about doing Dephemerember. For instance, what was your favorite prompt, what prompt you found most challenging and what you felt about each other’s projects, etc.
Thank you 25 days of wonderful videos. I hope you ladies decide to do it again in 2023. Loved all the great stories and the outpouring of friendship shown!!
Oh Luise! This series couldn't be more perfect! It was so much fun! I can't get enough of your creativity, your joy, your humor, and most of all - your appreciation of your special friendship of Barbara. As someone who recently moved away from California to Arizona and left some very precious friends behind...I know how valuable a friendship can be. ❤️ Prescott, AZ
I have LOVED this series and LOVE YOU too!!! I'm so sad it's over!!! THANK YOU and Barbara!!! As for Dephemerember 2023 should be just like 2022.... it's been perfect!!!
First of all you said you both wanted to give us something. What you probably don't realize is that every video you have made for this series is a gift for all of us. 25 plus gifts X 2 = 50 gifts plus all the discounts and freebees. Loved every minute of each video. Words do not cover my gratitude for you two wonderful women. Like the pile of RICE, you have touched so many lives. I can only think of one thing bad about dephemerember......it ends! Every other part is amazing. One idea I had for next year is to maybe let your viewers send ideas in for the Prompt List and theme. Then you could put them in a bowl. Pull two out at a time and put them together. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Now that I have seen everything you offered in your stores, I going to do some shopping tomorrow! :)
I so much love this series and hope it returns in 2023. ATCs are my absolute favorite to make and collect. This is the perfect way to end such a wonderful series. ❤❤❤
Your ATCs are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! You & Barbara both touch my heart & spark my imagination beyond measure...so very grateful that you continually inspire me!!! 🤗❤🦋❤🤗 I've so enjoyed this & last yr's Dephemerembers equally...so much fun, beyond imaginative, deeply heartwarming, etc...one cannot improve on perfection!!! When you mentioned next year ideas, I had this crazy thought: could they use inspirational words/phrases (ie "dream"; "bloom"; "friendship"; "spread your wings"; "be brave" - the possibilities are endless) OR some of their favorite quotes as prompts!? Both of you are amazing, & I look forward to not only the next Dephemerember, but to everything you both will create & share with us throughout the new year!!! ❤❤❤
I had such a great time not only watch you create, but trying the snacks. I can feel your joy as you work your magic, and love your laugh !! Have an amazing day
Luise, I can not tell you how much I have enjoyed watching all of your Ephemerember videos! I watched every one last year as well. You are the most talented junk journaler I have seen! I love your style, your creativity and your sensitivity! You and Barbara are just amazing and your friendship is heart-warming! You both had me crying with your tributes to each other the past few days. I couldn't comment on yesterday's video because I was crying and much too emotional as you were telling your story. I wish you all the best, lots of love to you and Barbara. I know that you realize how many of us love your work and not just your work, but you as well. Take a well deserved break and I'll be looking forward to seeing you again soon. Rose
For several reasons I don't like the month of december. This challenges, promptlist and video's of you and Barbara kept me going. I played along with you two amazing women and now I have almost finished my first chunky junkjournal. And I am proud of it, so thank you very much for all the work you have done for us. All the best for 2023 for you, Barbara and those who are in this amazing community. 🤗💗
Luise, you are an inspiration to us all, and Dephemerember 2022 has been amazing. Frankly, seeing your posts each day has helped me to keep my head straight this holiday season. My husband has fallen quite ill since before Thanksgiving, and yet these daily posts of yours and Barbara's have been like a shining beacon in a very dark night for me. Thank you so much.
I have really enjoyed watching the. Two of you create. It has been so much fun and inspirational .You not only showed us the project, but how make them. You showed us how to use different mediums. Things I didn't know how to do. Thanks for being my friend throughout the series. I appreciate you both , you truly are caring ladies. I two have laughed , cried and felt your joy. and sadness. Thank you so much. I love you both. The craft community is filled with friends from far and near. I've made friends. Blessings to you and your hubby. Merry Christmas to all. Stay safe and get some much needed rest.🤗🤗🤗🎄
Dear Luise, there was so much content to enjoy during this series of videos. From your making of each other’s journals, to your unboxing ones and then the daily uploads - two of them!! How spoilt and entertained we have been. I wouldn’t change a single thing. We have learnt many new techniques and even shared your own personal, heartbreaking story that has brought you here to us. Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to make and upload the videos - two/zwei every day! Thank you for sharing your ideas. Thank you for the freebies. Thank you for the laughs and tears. Thank you for Dephemerember. Love Barbara 🇦🇺
I’m sad to see dephemerember end. I have had so much fun with you and I have learned so many things. I will continue to make junk journals and keep watching you and your amazing talent! Thank you Luise😘
I have looked forward to everyday of Dephemerember. Your creativity, warmth and humor is contagious. Thank you to you and Barbara. I hope you do this every year.
I have so enjoyed watching your Dephemerember videos. I have lost my motivation to sit at my table and craft. Watching you and Barbara makes me want to sit and "play". I LOVE seeing yours and Barbara's talents join together to bring this series to us. It has been fun watching the similarities and contrasts in your work. A humble Thank You!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work in creating Dephemerember! Both you and Barbara are so inspiring and I have learned so much. It has been amazing seeing all of the beautiful creations of other viewers on social media. It feels like I have been crafting with my friends every day! I will miss crafting with you and Barbara every day but don’t worry, I will be anxiously waiting for all of your weekly videos and working on finishing up the last few prompts. Thank you for making me laugh each day and helping to distract me from the usual stress of the holidays.
Again, you blew me away with your new continent’s background. Wow! Love everything about Dephemerember. It is such a blessing to have fun and have so many ideas to learn from. Really appreciated that you released the prompt list before Dec. 1st. It gives us a chance to prepare. It is also greatly appreciated that you and Barbara work so hard to put Dephemerember together. Both of your journals are treasures. Sincerely hope you can make Dephemerember happen again next year. Merry Christmas and all the very best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Hello Luise- I would like to thank you and also give feedback as requested. I love this series, and I appreciate how much creative energy, work, and time you have shared with all of us not only for the 25 days, but for all the months leading up to it. I know it is a labor of love for you, and this series is also part of your creative business, but your generosity of creating something so special for so many of us is truly appreciated. THANK YOU. As for feedback: I love the back and forth between you and Barbara, seeing your friendship, seeing how you both interpret things differently, and how unique you both are. I enjoyed the addition of the "snack" ... it was fun and a bit silly at times, which we all need in our lives. I appreciated the structure you put into. the series prior to it staring and the freebie cards were very helpful for planning prior to is starting. I love seeing other people in the Dephemerember playlist and feel like this program is a great opportunity to meet new friends and expose ourselves to new Artists. There are SOOOO many good things about this program!!! I love that it isn't Christmas themed, it makes me feel like I can catch up after the holiday and allows people to work on their prompts all year long if they want to. I only have ONE thing that didn't work for me... I will leave it in a comment under this comment so that it isn't the main focus and the positivity can sit here and been seen!!!
Ok... now my one constructive criticism...which I will explain, but I believe may just be an issue because I’m also someone with a channel, & I wanted to participate as much as I could - but along with doing the prompt I had a video to create and edit to think about. Because there was a surprise element every day and videos were released at noon my time, it made it hard to do the prompts as presented and stay ahead with videos. I would have made more videos if I had known the animals ahead time for the chosen days. I know I could have picked any animal each day, but I really have fun working with the same exact prompts you and Barbara work with, and by the time an animal was presented it was afternoon my time and I know I wouldn't be able to even start on the prompt until late in the day or the next morning and I would already be a day behind...so it made it hard to get ahead and I always felt behind this year. I realize that is totally my own issue... after all plenty of people made videos AND many people chose their animals as they wanted to... so I knew I had that option. For me, I love doing prompt challenges exactly as presented because I like to see how participants interpret the same prompt differently. Because so many people chose their now animals on their own days, it was hard sometimes to see the "apple to apple" interpretation and I lost that feeling unity, because we weren't always working with the same animals. I feel like the fun of not knowing lies in seeing what you and Barbara come up with, and comparing what I did without seeing yours, but I had to see your finished product before I started in order to know the animal. The timing was hard and the surprise element meant I couldn’t make 2 videos in a day or take advantage of free days to film. I realize that is a totally personal reaction and not your responsibility, you can't control how others react to something, but since you asked for feedback I thought I'd share why that was challenging. I sooooooo appreciate you allowing other channels to jump into the fun, but because December is SO busy for me and I bet for so many others, knowing the parts of the prompts a week or so ahead of time allows us to to make some videos ahead of time so we have a buffer in our lives to work on prompts and stay ahead of it for as long as we can. I think you know how long it takes to film and edit a video, so if we are already starting our daily prompt late, then it's hard to make a video. The first three videos I edited over night ...staying up until 2 am in order to release the video the next day. AGAIN I recognize that is something that was my choice.... and there was the option to just pick my own animal... or do a recap or something else...but since it was December it was just too overwhelming for me to figure out how to make it work. So that's my only bit of feedback... I would LOVE if the prompts were released ahead of time and all the elements were known ahead of time so people like myself who want to join in on a channel had time to also put content up, had a bit of time to work prior to the day on our own individual schedules and keep up. I'm not sure if this was an issue for anyone else, maybe it was just me. I guess my suggestion might be... if you want more content creators to create using your program, perhaps you could allow us to "apply" ahead of time and let us in on all the details & that will allow us to stay ahead of the game. Like a Dephemerember "design team". If I wasn't trying to participate as a channel, this wouldn't be an issue at all because I could create the prompt and be done everyday. Or I could just decide to watch instead of doing the prompt. Both are enjoyable and valuable in their own right, it's only because I would love to join in as much as possible as a channel that this became a concern. This comment does not TAKE AWAY anything from how wonderful DEPHEMEREMBER is, but since you asked I thought it might be helpful. much love. xo
Loved this series. It's been a long time since I've junk journaled, but have this I'm getting back into it. I still have a stash of things, so can get going soon. I've so enjoyed hearing about your friendship with Barbara and how it has strengthened and frown.
Luise, together with Barbara you have give us so much inspiration during this Dephemereber. You shared your creativity, passion and talent with all of us here. I loved every single minute ❤ Thank you both for this series and I know you both will continue to amaze us with new ideas. I am so grateful I found you❤
This was my first year of Dephemerember, I enjoyed it immensely. You and Barbara are so sweet and generous! I loved all the kindness and true friendship you shared with us. It was fun learning more about each of you, and of course the great, over the top projects were absolutely wonderful! I can’t think of a thing I would change, it was perfect! Thank you so much! ❤️😊🥰
I can't believe it's over.🥺. Always looked forward to 2 videos every day from the 2 queens of crafting 👑👑. Your videos make me laugh out loud and I cry with you when you get emotional. I feel so privileged to see your beautiful friendship with Barbara blossom with every collaboration. Your talent and creativity that you show us on every video is so awe inspiring. I thank you for that. I can't wait to see what you both come up with and share with us in 2023! This video was the best way to explain this community that I love so much!!🥰💙💙💙
Luise, I shed tears the other day when you told the story of your friendship with Barbara. But I think I cried more at the concept of a Dephemerember continent where we all get to live and create and shine our light. Just beautiful. Thank you so much for all you put into the last 25 days.
You and Barbara have been so kind to take the huge amount of time to produce these amazing tutorials for us. Sharing the love: for your art. For each other. For us. Thank you. 💖
Dephemerember has been so fun this year❤❤ I love watching your and Barbra's videos. Thank you so much for all of the inspiration! I love that you swapped journals this year, but I also liked seeing you make a journal last year. I would love to have some more specific/challenging prompts (maybe limitations) and I liked that you had a theme this year. Maybe next year you can do a flower theme and have a new flower everyday or something along those lines. You are so inspiring and creative Luise. I thank you from the heart for every video that you have made. Thank you for sharing your creativity and passion. This has been so wonderful!! Thank you so much!
I love that Dephemerember has strengthened so much art and techniques for us around the world AND that your bond with Barbara has become a deep, personal, and lasting one. The arts do that for people. Wonderful!
This is a sad day today, I love watching you and Barbara everyday your both so amazing talented artist and love that you share everything with all of us. I would love to meet you both so day. Thank you for the 2nd year with dephemerember this year was very special to me My sister in law joined me this year and we have learned so much form you both. Thank you for all the freebies and your time each day. Hugs and Love to you both. Darlene and Debbie (my sister in law)
You are such a treasure! Yours and Barbara’s friendship is something everyone needs in their life. I have looked forward to watching both videos everyday! I love seeing how your mind works as the project progresses. Enjoyed seeing the journals you made for each other, they are beautiful. I truly hope you do another Dephemberember next year. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us.
I have loved these 25 days of Dephemerember. You and Barbara have made these days so special with all your creativity. Your journals and all your ephemera that you have made is truly beautiful. I appreciated getting to know you a little bit better also. I crave a friendship like you and Barbara have. You have given me so many great ideas to follow. I would love it if you could do another 25 days of ephemera making say every 6 months. Thank you so very much for all the work that you put into making these 25 days of Dephemerember so wonderful. You and Barbara made it so much fun and creative. Love from a devoted fan, Wanda Mae, from Port Orchard, Washington USA
As I commented on Barbara's site, I am a teacher. Today's challenge in particular was a perfect match for the content and philosophy of my 4th-grade classroom. Our motto ? "Make stuff and make stuff happen." The current "real feel" here is a bitterly cold two degrees, but I am warmed by the generosity and creativity of Dephemerember. I am most grateful. Looking forward to an annual tradition.....
Thank you Luise for your inspiration on these videos for Dephemerember 2022. This was my first year to tune in and I have enjoyed watching so much! Now in my spare time (when I’m not working) I will play with some of your freebies! Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!!!🎄🌺
Wow, I can only say thank you to you and Barbara. You have been my constant daily companions all month long and I feel like we are kindred spirits. Your generosity and hard work creating this series is so appreciated. I wish you both some well deserved rest! Cheers and Love !
Thank you, thank you… this has been my favourite series ever! Both you and Barbara have been so very generous with your time, talents, freebies and discounts. You have such a beautiful friendship and sharing with us has made me feel like I know you both personally. Please consider doing a Dephemerember 2023. I loved the international theme through the treats. Perhaps next year you could do something similar around Christmas traditions around the world. The animal cards were another fantastic idea. Ideas for next year could be; trees and plants (botanical), ethnic fabric samples ( such as quilts, costumes, embroidery). The Canadian Métis people make the most beautiful beaded clothing that would translate well to digital art. Oh, one more idea could be Folk Art from around the world. So many possibilities! I am certain you are both exhausted from all the work you put into this year so, thank you again, put your feet up and relax. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
We are all a little bit sad that Dephemerember is over but I am so proud to live on the new continent! Luise, you are right, it is a season, one of great joy, creativity, sensitivity, loving kindness and friendship! I love everything about Decemerember except that I cannot be at your table with you, sharing laughs and snacks! Thank you for the cheer you spread, for sharing your heart and your amazing brain! 💋💋💕🇨🇦
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you and Barbara create with your prompts-I never could outguess you two on what you would come up with. This has been so much fun, I hope you two will do this again next year, you are both so entertaining to watch and give all of us creators so many new ideas. Thanks so much.
I absolutely love this series! Every morning it’s the first thing I would do, check for your and Barbara’s videos. I didn’t miss one day.😂 I really enjoyed that the two of you exchanged journals. It was so nice to see all this amazing art go into another amazing piece of art. Ever thought about something like this in July? 😂 OK, I know this must have been just exhausting. But all your hard work has paid off in a beautiful way. And I appreciate all that hard work as it shows all of us how much you really care this form of art. Thanks for the fabulous inspirations! 🤗❤️ Tamara
Once again, the imagination and creativity is jaw-dropping! As the winner of last year Dephemerember, I can only say the generosity of freebies and goodies this year has been amazing! I will always watch this series if y’all decide to do it again.
Please excuse my copy/paste of my thoughts on Dephemerberemer. I wanted to share the same thanks with both you and Barbara. Thank you so much for Dephemberember!!! I've enjoyed this series so much. I need to go back though to get the discount codes and go shopping! You and Barbara just went so above and beyond it's hard to express my gratitude. I enjoyed everything. I learned new things, like the origin of the ATCs. I loved seeing Luise's reactions to the snack of the day. The stories and emotions shared were so heartfelt. The laughs, the creativity. I just don't have words. Thank you. Next year...I actually thought about this while I slept last night. Thinking back over Dephemberember, the love, the emotions shared were so real. You two took a chance on us - friends who live in your electronic devices. My suggestion for next year would be "Sentimental Dephemerberemera" The prompts would be text...a word, a quotation, an emotion. When we consider the act of journaling, we do get on paper what is in our heart and head. Maybe you could use something like that as the foundation for the daily prompts. I loved the animals. I felt that was helpful for your creative plan. I love having this in December. It's a busy time for me even without children or family. Dephemeberember was a reason to sit down each evening and take time for myself and see your wonderful creations. Again, many many thanks. Have a healthy New Year. As a friend shared yesterday at breakfast, when we are healthy spiritually, emotionally and psychologically we are healthy. You've helped me have a Healthy New Year! Reply
I’ve learned so much from this series! The friendship between you and Barbara has made me cry at times, laugh at times and so happy! Your art always inspires me! Oh and please bring back Dephemerember. Thank you for sharing your art with us! Happy New Year, LUISE!!
Luise, this month has been my first exposure to Dephemerember, and it has been such a wonderful experience for me. I have enjoyed every minute. Not only have I learned so much with all the techniques you’ve shown, but although we’ve never met, I feel like we’re friends. You have made me laugh every day, and even cried some, too! 💖 Thank you for sharing your knowledge and abilities with us, and giving us such a wonderful peek into the special person that you are.
Gorgeous , idea. A metaphor for the continent of dephemerember is such a unifying idea and really expresses the bonding that brings us together from all over the world. You both especially you Luise have shown and told us about who you are and some of your deepest, most personal times of overcoming suffering and then finding inspiration, solice in creating beautiful journals. A journal has a mystical, magical essence of the people who make them. I have given many journals away as special gifts for women to find themselves. I am sure many of us, your subscribers, feel like we ate close friends. I certainly do as I watch you both almost every day. I do want you to continue dephemerember next year. I think it teaches, inspires, and unites so many women in the world. I think a botanical theme using natural elements like flax, leaves, twigs, small pebbles, seeds etc combined with mythical creatures, fairies imagined animals dragons, imagined plants etc would be so much fun. As always I love who you are and what you and Barbara do together in your beautiful friendship. Your honoring of each other makes me feel I am living in the heart of a continent built on love, acceptance and trust. Arohanui from me in Aotearoa New Zealand. Ka kiti ano. (I will see you again)
I live up in the northland of the Dephemerember Continent, where it is -9 F (-22 C). I've been keeping warm watching the videos and warming my fingers over the air from my embossing/heat tool. It's been a blast staying indoors watching the videos, away from nature's icy blast. Thank you.
I am a lucky woman living on the Dephemerember continent. You are both so talented and generous. Thank you so much for this marvelous travel through your imagination and your touch of madness this year again. This event became my new December tradition. I wouldn't change a thing! 🐼😍❤
I love Dephemerember! I appreciate all the time and effort you and Barbara put into the series. My favorite videos have been you and Barbara making eachother a journal and your flip through when you received it. I have learned so much from you both. Thank you!
I absolutely loved everyday of Dephemberember! Your emotional response to meeting Barbara really stood out to me and have thought about many times since. I love today’s project. They are beautiful. Good luck to everyone who has a chance to own one of these gorgeous ATCs. Thank you, Luise.
Never have I ever……enjoyed watching a TH-camr as you and Barbara .
Everyday I was stunned at your beautiful creations. It was so fun to spend each day with you. Although I did not have the opportunity to make anything, I look forward to January to rewatch and craft away. Thank you for the gift of you.
Beautiful post. Just how we all feel!!! Thank you!!
How beautiful that you had this amazing craft community especially Luise and Barbara to help you through this difficult time
@@kellyjean4981 You are so kind. And, yes, how blessed I have been to find this amazing community.
I am very sorry for your loss, Telena. I agree this series has been a welcome distraction for me. Whenever I am feeling stressed (just about life) I turn Luise or Barbara on and they keep me relaxed. Wishing you a happy new year 🌷
Telena I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you were able to get through the Holiday ok, the "firsts" are always so hard.
I cant believe dephemerember is already over! I can not put into words how wonderful this series was!
I have enjoyed all 25 days of dephemerember! You and Barbara have done a wonderful job! I have learned so much! Thank you very much!
Sad, this series had come to an end. The inspiration this series sparks is unimaginable among all of us journalers. Can't wait until the next one.
I absolutely loved Dephemerember. You made me laugh every step of the way and you're so talented. Merry Christmas Luise!
@ Kosi perfectly stated
I am feeling sad that this is the last day of dephemerember but a big thank you from the bottom of my heart. I looked forward every day to see what you were going to create from your prompt list. It was very inspiring, and so much fun. I had many daily laughs and cried with you. I learned so much. You are a joy and a blessing for all of us. It’s A lot of work to do daily videos. Every day you created gorgeous pieces of artwork for your stunning journal. Thank you for sharing your talents. I loved your daily gorgeous paper bags.
This is all so wonderful! Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I am constantly amazed that you make everything look so effortless and gorgeous.
The imagination and whimsy is what I struggle with so much and you two give me such inspiration. Thank so so much!
Dear Luise,
Thank you so much for all the beautiful ideas and the time you spend on making videos to inspire us.
❤️❤️❤️
I wake up each morning to watch every dephemerember ❤️
Love from a devoted fan,
Wanda Mae, from Port Orchard, Washington USA
As I commented on Barbara's site, I am a teacher. Today's challenge in particular was a perfect match for the content and philosophy of my 4th-grade classroom. Our motto ? "Make stuff and make stuff happen."
The current "real feel" here is a bitterly cold two degrees, but I am warmed by the generosity and creativity of Dephemerember.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and abilities with us, and giving us such a wonderful peek into the special person that you are.
Thank you.
Both you and Barbara have been a blessing to many throughout the year. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!
