Please tell me this, can't you just replace the springs with something solid now that you have automatic bed leveling. Doesn't make sense to use springs and risk the bed shifting over time.
I just installed mine. I would recommend to viewers that you take the extra time to fish the data cable through the flexi-duct, it just adds that OEM feel.

Vlad, nice video, One thing... The G29 code needs to be on a a separate line following the G28 command.I entered it as you demonstrated, but the CL-Touch only checked the center point. After moving the G29 to a separate line, it now checks 9 points.
Important note you have to remove the z limit switch as the cr touch acts like the z limit switch now also you should install the firmware that says just the bl touch not filament runout sensor

I have the same problem. I disconnected the Z limit switch and decreased the Z offset to it's maximum of -5.0. It touches the bed in the middle and goes back up to about 10mm above the bed. Any other suggestions?
When I hit auto-home, the nozzle moves down until tip of the bed levelling sensor touches the bed and then a little more, and then the sensor tip withdraws fully. But I can see that my nozzle is still about 4-5mm above the bd. When it finally completes and goes home, the nozzle is still too high. I can never get the bed level with the auto levelling kit.

i have the cr touch with my ender 3 v2 and each print requires me to mess with the z-offset and it's usually way higher than 0, the last one was 5.68 and the one before that, 6.29. has anyone else had this issue of it always being so inconsistent? i'm considering just going back to manual bed levelling.
This dang thing is so odd to set up, I've had some prints work and some others not. My Z level keeps seeming to be fine and then as soon as the print starts it's completely different
Creality has to have the WORST firmware update page in existence. Calling "CR Touch" -> "BL Touch" and almost no release notes, makes it incredibly difficult to know what you need. On top of that, not knowing what board version you have without opening it up is just stupid (can't display board version in the "info" section?) Finally, when updating, it gives you NO indication of the progress. Just terrible.
When I select Auto Home, once it finishes that process and I go into "Move Z" and adjust it from 10.0 to 0.00, my extruder nozzle is still way too high off the bed. WTF?
Howdy! Great tut! I was just having trouble updating my firmware, does anyone else have trouble updating their Ender 3v2 when turning on your printer? My printer just goes to its standard screen with info on the bottom right corner.

I followed the steps in the video to a T including the firmware he chose. It still never installed after 6 hours and my printer is stuck on the creality screen. I dont know what to do
My printer isn’t reading g codes anymore but the level function shows up any idea what’s wrong? Any help is appreciated
i have the cr touch with my ender 3 v2 and each print requires me to mess with the z-offset and it's usually way higher than 0, the last one was 5.68 and the one before that, 6.29. has anyone else had this issue of it always being so inconsistent? i'm considering just going back to manual bed levelling.
I can't get it to "barely touch" I am not sure how to fix this issue. I'm still looking.
After starting a print mine auto bed levels the bed again unlike in your video where it just did the two probes?
This dang thing is so odd to set up, I've had some prints work and some others not. My Z level keeps seeming to be fine and then as soon as the print starts it's completely different
Creality has to have the WORST firmware update page in existence. Calling "CR Touch" -> "BL Touch" and almost no release notes, makes it incredibly difficult to know what you need. On top of that, not knowing what board version you have without opening it up is just stupid (can't display board version in the "info" section?)
Finally, when updating, it gives you NO indication of the progress. Just terrible.
When I select Auto Home, once it finishes that process and I go into "Move Z" and adjust it from 10.0 to 0.00, my extruder nozzle is still way too high off the bed. WTF?
Just realized I need to go back to the "Prepare" screen and use that Z-Move feature, not the one under the "Move" menu.
Howdy! Great tut! I was just having trouble updating my firmware, does anyone else have trouble updating their Ender 3v2 when turning on your printer? My printer just goes to its standard screen with info on the bottom right corner.
Format your SD card and then load just the bin file to it. Insert SD card in printer then power on. Should fix it.
@@MyBigThing2010 it didn’t help :(
Stuck in the same boat
@@amosclark9048 format your SD card....then put the bin file on THEM RENAME THE FILE ...then insert onto printer n power on. You're welcome.
@@xt3hdkx you have to rename the file...it will not update firmware of the same name
When I move z to 0 I still have more room between been and nozzle than I would like 🤔. Bed can’t be adjusted any higher from knobs either.
Make sure you removed the z limit switch completely, also he talks about fine tuning somewhere after 13:00
@@Moonsauc3 I ended up lowering the z off switch to like -1.2. Seems to be working now.
@@Moonsauc3 I moved mine down as far as it will go and there still is too much room
have you made a video about Esteps for us noobs?
So I have a problem my auto level device isn't going down all the way I'm at negative 10 on the z axis and it still doesn't want to go down for the auto leveling
Great tutorial, only problem I have is my firmware change the language to chinese. And I tried multiple different versions, all in CHINESE. Lol thank god I can understand the letter A in a box means something about languages.
@KILBILL6331 blessed thank you so much
Not sure why only the middle top, bottom, left and right are the ones that isn't lined up. Only the corners are leveled.
Does it even change the bed leveling
Nice video, thank you for sharing
Can someone explain what the point is of having a auto bed leveling sensor while you can turn the nozzle down and level the bed
I did all the steps, but then when it came time to print it no longer show any prints available. Have tried multiple times with multiple different prints
Man I’m pretty lost with my ended 3 v2 same setup but I cannot get it to print right
Mine when it levels doesn't pull the probe up it does it the first and last probe only the rest it pushes down twice goes from blue to red and that's it and I feel like it's not working properly
I installed mine how you have yours but it comes up short what did I do wrong?
Don't you have to disconnect the stop bed level sensor at the side of the printer
finaly a ender video
I installed the firmware and now my 3d printer is in japanese and I cant see my print files
i tried doing this but 'level' didnt show up for some reason
Mine won’t do the 9 point mesh after manually leveling it. I’m just gonna get rid of this thing. Not what I imagined
I just did this and now my printer cant read my sd card what do i do?
hiho i was wondering if you have some tutorial or something i have flashforge finder and after a year it starts loosing steps or layer shifting but i dont know how to tight the belts
Hi I did everything up to adding the firmware n turning it on. I set my printer to auto home n it won’t move. The car touch is red also.
Does this work with a generic Ender three
Just install cr touch and new firmware. Can not see highlight bar after update. Board version 4.2.2
