Honor 200! No debate. I'm not a fanboy of any brand so you can be assured that I'm picking objectively. 2 weeks with my Honor now and it almost feels flagship.
Samsung Galaxy A55 = excellent durability, decent cameras, and great software HONOR 200 = Excellent cameras, slightly better battery with faster 100w charging support, and excellent display. Performance wise its a tie. And i found out the exynos 1480 has better graphics gaming performance than Sd 7 gen 3 despite of having lower antutu benchmark points than SD7gen3 hahahaha
If you want a longer lasting phone with a better build and high durability. I suggest Samsung. I used to own its oldest Flagship the Omnia2 and it lasted 7 years before it died out. 😊
I used to name the brand "Horror" instead of Honor and called the "little experimental phones that Huawei doesn't want to release and is aimed at a downgraded demographic"... Oh boy... I bought my Honor 200 because I looked at it and said *it looks neat* but then, reviewing the specs I said woooo... I want that! No regrets. Best phone. I came from a mediocre Edge 50 fusion and the differences are spectacularly noticeable, except for the camera because for me, they look the same.

Honor 200.. bigger RAM and storage, better display, longer battery life, faster charging, much better camera with telephoto, better UI and animation and ergonomic design.. Goodluck on greenline issue with Super Amoled panels.. Compare nyo din yung entry levels nila, kung d kayo maloka..
My samsung a52s still works great and specs is not far from a55. So if i'm buying one now, which i will for a postpaid plan, i'm inclined to choose honor for the camera.
The earlier you move in with the Chinese the better for you because all round they give better value for money. Samsung and apple hv been selling necessities as luxury which the Chinese are offering as basic necessities. I bet Samsung and apple would hv only reserved the harcourt portrait mode for their pro and ultra models that costs well over $1k but it is basic in Honor.
For a phone worth almost 30k, why can't they use a metal frame? While A55 now can be bought for as low as 20k, and some with freebies like freebuds 2 or watch fit3
well it's really a very nasty situation 😕. i love Huawei, but i think honor is almost the HarmonyOS and Samsung is a bit Korean taste and premium cause I've touched both. thinking and wishing if you'd post a video covering both ❤
I have both A55 and Honor 200.. A55 is the better phone its a much better quality but Honor is a good phone... I think this review is biased towards Honor..
easy win for honor here only thing letting honor down is the lack of a IP rating and the lack of corning gorilla glass protection. but i can deal with that and so can you looool

@isaacosaretin It actually depends on your day to day basis. For me, Samsung midrange suits me. The chipset is fast enough and good enough for me, the UI suits me good, the camera is beautiful enough for me, on top of that, the 4 year software update + 5 years of security patches. Most Chinese phones have a bunch of bloatwares, random ads, and they are also known for having some bootloop issues, so nah, I'm good.

Honor all the way. Remember that price point having a telephoto camera.
Does it have a macro cam? I don't see it in the spec
Honor 200 photos are simply stunning!
A55 barely heats up. I thought it's a crappy chipset but it proved me wrong.
Right? I did not expect this to an exynos chipset. Its kind of cooler than my a52s
