Changed from 9mm Shield to the 365 when it came out. I put on an XL grip frame and threaded barrel. Carry it 99% of the time. Now it's a 12+1.
Kinda wanna get one of the SAS models since everyone hates them and they sit on shelves. That targeting system is really interesting
I’ve shot the p365 SAS. The sights on it are absolute trash. If you’re not perfectly on point on the draw, finding the dot in the circle is a pain in the ass. It’s a complete distraction, and under stress, i.e. actually having to use it in a self defense scenario, the time needed to acquire sighting could very well get you killed.
I really AM a Sig fan, so it hurts to say that, but it’s true.
I have same pistol minus the manual safety I just put the Wilson Combat grip module on and I like the feel in my hand much better thinking about buying the xl module to switch back and forth!
I like the size of the XL Specter better, didn't see a reason to buy the 365 over a Hellcat.
Had mine for about 2 years and I've never had any wrong with it I've shot about 600 rounds and not 1 jam I carry it with me every where I go it goes with me I love it

Nice overview! I picked a P365 (with safety; my newer pistol even has an optics cut!) up in Nov. '23 and it is my carry gun. Since I pocket carry, I keep the flat 10rd mag in the gun; even with my med/large hands I can get a full grip on the pistol, and carry a 17rd mag for my reload. I've been pocket carrying for over 20 years, and after snubbie revolvers and Kel-Tec pocket 9mm pistols, the Sig is a dream come true!
I don't plan to do any significant modification to this gun, but I do want to get another to tinker with--lots of options!!
I got the P365XL and have 3-12rd and 2-15rd mags. I fell in love with the gun my first time firing it, carries well and have had no problems after 1000 rd thru it, feel it is one I can depend one firing when I pull the bang thingy
The p365 is the greatest ccw ever. There is nothing on the market that can do everything it does. It's the AR15 of the ccw world...

I have a SAR USA SAR9 that's built similar to this gun, but it's more of a knock off Glock in terms of appearance. But the guide rod on this gun looks identical, slide internals look the same damn near. Only things that are different are the barrels, and the slide take down... Especially the slide take down on the frame. Instead of that irritating lever ya gotta fiddle around with, I have two points on both sides of the frame where I pull down on them and the slide will come right off. I myself would hate having to mess around with that take down lever on that P365.
I can carry CC the Hellcat's 15 round magazine with no problems. I won't be able to do that with the P365 15 round mag. too big & looks ridiculous.
