I agree, but it's better to wait for the heaps of evidence to be thoroughly gathered and investigated. He cannot be processed for the same crime twice. That is a constitutional right. They need time to solidify guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt so that when sentencing comes due, the judge will have no option but to dole out justice.

There was nothing that occurred that would interfere with a president doing his job. Mueller collected a lot of evidence but he told Congress it was up to them to investigate further. Furthermore he recommended it. So, I’m not clear about a sitting president getting raided. Haven’t sitting Congress folks been searched?

Legally they might not be able to act on it with that warrant (am not a lawyer, not sure if they could keep evidence of crimes that aren't specified in the warrant). There was nothing that occurred that would interfere with a president doing his job. Mueller collected a lot of evidence but he told Congress it was up to them to investigate further. Furthermore he recommended it. So, I’m not clear about a sitting president getting raided. Haven’t sitting Congress folks been searched?

@@holdon4992 'collecting evidence' as such and certainly in the form of raids are usuallay already politically very damaging and could easily derail any high office holder. therefore the US constitution introduced the instrument of _impeachment_ for certain federal officers (some state constitutions do the same). the power to investigate lies with Congress, the House selects a committee to find grounds for impeachment and later votes on the articles of impeachment while the Senate conducts the trial.
That impression of Eric deserved the ovation it received. The crowd couldn't even wait to cheer when he did the callback.
