It's hard to believe that the house was built in the 80s. It looks like old France with an Italian touch. Shame to lose such a beautiful home to fire. Great tour as always Leslie.
Leslie, I’m glad that you are doing the video without the others in the scenes. There is a reason why I only watch your videos and I won’t go into details, but the way you are so careful and respectful and also more quieter is just some of the reasons that I won’t watch other channels because they lack the qualities I mentioned that you always show us in your videos. In closing please do not get any influence or ideas from the other ones that are with you because it’s your unique way of doing these videos is what sets you apart.
My grandma was in the Holocaust, she was a child, she lost her parents her siblings she was in a concentration camp, she survived, her story was hard to hear, yet she was always happy cheerful kind and generous, she was an incredible person an inspiration x she has passed now, but I’m so glad I took the time to listen to her story x It helps ground me to this day x
I'm very sorry that your grandmother had to go through that horrible experience, but I'm so glad she survived, very sad and heartbroken that she lost her family. 😢😢
Brother Lesley, I wish I could have gotten a hold of you since my father passed last memorial day week. It would have a blessing for you to do a video on my parent's house in the suburbs of Philadelphia because so much memories both good and bad were there...

Your politeness and respect for the buildings as well as the former residents is refreshing in this day of every man for himself. Thank you for bringing me places that I can't go... stay safe!
When I was 17, there was a fire in our home. There was considerable smoke damage everywhere due to the heat that is in even the parts of the home with no flames. That smoke damage is almost impossible to remove from anything. Even after cleaning, the odor and soot color remains
Great to see you exploring together:) The place is gorgeous. That huge deck outside and stone work. The fountain, oh my word , I can not get over that staircase:) Who would not love the bricked kitchen . I'd be tempted to restructure the house and rebuild over all of the stones. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.
Leslie, your English is wonderful. Don't worry. I love your accent. The room you went into on the lower floor that had the soft walls is called "wall sculpture." It's done with "batting" and cloth. Like when you make a quilt. I used to do wall sculpturing.
I lost everything I owend when I was 14 teen because of fire in my home. It took years to get over it. I feel very sorry for people that have this happen to them. What was diffrent for me is I didnt have any money to help my loss. I had nothing. Sometimes I wonder what happend to something I owend and then it comes to me I lost it in the fire. You never get over your loss. People be very careful .This can happen to you. You have know idea how tough it can be. You bros thank you for what a great job you do for us. Stay safe. See you next week.
When my brother's house burnt, I went through the house with a Firefighter and she told me not to touch anything because of the many different chemicals that are burnt during the fire. There can be a lot of poisonous gases that are not seen. these gases can be deadly. I woudl think that is why things are left behind after a fire.
I hate fires they are so final everything is lost I feel so bad for them!! I also hate the vandals who come in and destroy the items that are there!! What satisfaction do they get from breaking peoples things ??? Bros of decay I love the respect you show for ALL the homes you enter if only everyone would do the same you guys are great!!!

Yet again a beautiful video. I was 4 years old New Years Eve 1964, mum out with sister buying things for return to boarding school. My father, a caretaker of large secondary school. One dog & myself in his care we were at the school. Still not yet dark dad nearly finished locking up, our neighbour had drove to front entrance shouting dad's name. We all bundled into his car I was oblivious to what was going on. We could walk to our house in 5 minutes, in the car dad ran from the car to our home & 3 Fire Engines. I remember everything and the smell, sounds and noise from the neighbours. In my home now I have bedroom furniture 72 years old, writing bureau, quilted bed cover & ornaments. Yes on occasions the furniture on very damp days the smoke still apparent. Ornaments colour changes , photographs some faded or discoloured. Memories 101%, we lined in that house another 26 years after the fire, I had to live with brother & sister-in-law for 6 months. I still have a mound of one shilling pieces from the utility meters that had melted together into a heap. That home was scarred, but not rich. Much was lost and parents had to get by. If there had been any money then as devastated as you are you just pick up again & make it better. The videos all have wonder stories, a lot is to leave alone is cheaper than the Inheritance tax which would have to be made. However, its heartbreaking to see all the personal treasure left untouched. How lonely the last inhabitants must have felt
Your the sweetest Leslie....your always so kind and respectful to everyone you meet....I love watching your channel...thank you for sharing your adventures with us❤❤❤
You are so great doing these tours for the public. I love your appreciation for the history that every item represents and the respect that you display. Thank you for such good work. ( love your voce)😃
Such a tragedy that this beautiful mansion was destroyed by fire. I imagine before the fire it was exquisite. I’m thankful the family survived the fire and were able to continue on with their lives. Lesley, thank you for bringing us along to explore this mansion with you. Your videos are always wonderful!
How are you Lesley, this is another one of those awesome wonderful house, I’m sad to see a beautiful place like this that ruins by fire, I’m glad do that the people live there are ok and safe, always stay safe and god bless you❤
I would think with no homeowners insurance policy it's a loss (unless it factors into income tax)?? I have heard of situation where the owners arranged (loss and lots of smoke damage) then run to cash in on the insurance, but not when there isn't I agree something doesn't add up (deleting coverage especially when you can afford it) Definitely positively heard of local poor people losing their home to kitchen fire and no homeowners insurance and then the community bails them out after. Bit mysterious
@@ja-kaz Then the story of the family being famously wealthy must not be accurate. I personally would think that they would pay it off right away rather than go through the bank. I remember seeing quite a few foreclosure related "abandoned" videos around 2014 2015 and I don't remember any of them burned or vandalized apart from teenagers breaking windows and tagging. I still think something is out of the norm, but them supposedly super rich and leaving the fancy furniture and clothing behind because it smells now does add up. Once the Bentley has wrinkly seats ... you cannot be seen in it anymore...it's junk it's not impressive. I'm wondering if it had something to do with the deal the sale details...not getting the right price.. If you could find out more about them the probable conclusion might be simpler.
They probably had insurance. I’m a tri-state area local. This is so common for insurance collection in… some area communities, that it has the unfortunate stereotype: “j*wish lightning”.
Thank you for shareing this. I also have an interest in Jewish culture. I have a friend in Philadelphia that is Jewish. We're both 60. Its been 2 weeks since you posted this video, dont know where you are now. Are you coming to Maine? Maine is up at the very most Eastern Sea Coast. Right under Canada and Nova Scotia. Can't imagine meeting you.
Hey Leslie, hi. I started to watch your video when suddenly Josh & Seth came into view. I was happily surprised to see them. I'm a long time member of Josh's & a fan of both him & Seth. I think its great u collaborated with them. Thanks. Loved the house & video.
So heartbreaking to see fire has destroyed such a beautiful home but most of all the sadness of the family to lose family memories like that. God bless the family and not getting hurt. Like great grandma house 🙂
Just watching your lasted video. Very interesting! The reason the clothes are left after a fire is you can never get the smell of the fire out. Never, no matter how many times you clean it. So sad.....
A friend of mine had a pretty bad fire in her apartment and I got the smell out of her and her kids clothes with vinegar and laundry soap. I washed them 4 times
The house looks interesting, I really like the touch of European elegance in the interior design in some of the rooms; maybe the family would have taken back their valuables and personal items if they had been interested ; Thank you for this nice video!
What a tragedy to such a beautiful home. Once again you have done a brilliant job of filming and respecting the house. The staircase reminds me of the staircase in The Sound of Music.
Adding to the fire damage, the smoke damage is horrendous! If my home burned I would not be able to return because of the painful memories it would bring up. As for the holes in the walls, my thoughts were they were made by the firemen using an axe looking for hot spots so the fires did not rekindle. Awesome video Lesly!
Thank you for the sensitivity with which you accompany the sites of all buildings. And how nicely you speak of those who once lived there. I'm from the Czech Republic , so the liquor is from us :-D I'm subscribing thanks for the videos
Regarding the house plans you saw: Previous explores revealed that at some point there was an attempt to try salvage the home which obviously has been abandoned. They were evidently looking at how something was done from another house, and put in this one in the original.
Lesley, my stomach is still upside down from when you went into the room with the burnt-out floor. The neighbors probably heard me. Haha man that place was awesome! Thanks for the tag along
MARASCHINO -Prepared according to a 16th century recipe from a pharmacist within a Domenican monastery, this Croatian liqueur is made from Marasca cherries grown in and around the city of Zadar, which as history would have it was Napoleon's favourite.Plenty of rich almond and fresh cherry notes, it is perfect for a Hemingway Daiquiri, an Aviation, or a Martinez, this is bottle is a must for the arsenal of the home bartender.
I was lucky to shoot this spot this year. It really was stunning. I just wanted to update you, I found out today that some people went and just destroyed the place. Its so sad! Great video!
I saw this home a year ago on a video called "Abandoned Mansion that used to belong to Betty White" Or something like that. This house has already been vandalized so much. It is beautiful. Such a shame. 😢 safe travels and thank you for making these amazing videos!!!❤
I sincerely hope you're doing well, Leslie ❤️. It's great to be able to see these videos - please keep them coming. Take good care ❤️ It's a shame to know that vandals will target these homes - even if they are abandoned, nothing is theirs to touch or to take.
did you notice on the exterior of house, the windows near the ground, some half there still? appears old world, mud flooded, before one of last resets. refounded. it may have tunnel system. love your videos. love from boise, idaho usa
Lesley., your manners are impeccable.... My heart swells with love and pride for that my life is so much richer now due to traveling to these mansions with yall..... I love you ... Abbie Eaton from Piedmont S. C.
I’m from Upstate New York, in a region known as the Finger Lakes. I wonder just where you are…upstate is quite large. After seeing the thumbnail, I thought it was in Europe! Very nice to have the four boys turn up to give you a little insight into the Jewish culture…and save you from a parking ticket! Are you enjoying your time here in the USA? I hope so. I loved the video of your grandfather’s house. Searched for your grandmother’s but couldn’t find it. Maybe you can help me. Well, take care.
I worked for a restoration company when I was 18-19 and it was a very eye opening experience and how everything you worked so hard for can be gone in the blink of an eye, just talking with some of the people and listening to their life story's leading up to and after the fire is very saddening to say the least.
I'm usually not much for mansions in general. The layouts and such just don't interest me much, but this place was absolutely gorgeous. Especially, that dining room and seeing glimpses of what the kitchen and various other parts of the home looked like before the fire. So sad seeing all of those memories left behind and what vandals have done to it. It hurt my heart seeing all of those nice paintings (signed ones at that) along with the pictures, clothes, and other memorabilia left behind. I have to say if my home wasn't completely destroyed in a fire, I would be going around and salvaging what I could. So much in that home could be salvaged. I hope the family eventually does. Awesome video. Thank you for taking us on tour of such a beautiful home and sharing its history.
Wauw Lesley ! The house was amazing place. Very sad the fire 🔥 destroyed many parts of it. But probably they were abandoned everything because the smell of smoke. Thank you for your exploration! 🤗😉😍👍
This was really ineresting to see what a fire can do to a beautiful home. I noticed that on my computer I could not get the volume high enough to hear you so I had to read the closed caption and it was so large at times when you said a lot that it covered a third of the picture that you could not see because of the caption. Bob
I love the wall chandeliers and the gold furniture the grand foyer as you go in it was nice to meet the children 😁😁😁😁 it shows they are down to earth and respect the country 🙏
let me educated you a bit :) the pic of the boy with all of the signatures is from his Bar metzva aka 13 bday. The plastic heads are for the woman's wigs and hats (something religious). Tamari is a girl name :) Totty is a father or a grandfather and bobby is grandmother about the beds- its a religious thing, even if they are married they cant sleep on the same bed when the woman is in her period. the thing about the girlfriends at 19 its not true, at 18 they can start asking for matchmaking in which Jewish singles are introduced to one another in Orthodox Jewish communities for the purpose of marriage. i loved the fact that you respected the house and it was a great tour.
What a awesome house 🏠. I'm glad that the family survived the fire 🔥. I hope that if they see this video that they will come back and get some of their memories. I really enjoyed watching this video 📹
What a beautiful place, so many memories. You're right. From the outside the construction is very German, from the inside very American. The house could certainly have been saved in Germany, but since so much wood is used in America, it is no wonder that it is so destroyed. All the antique furniture alone is worth several thousand euros. do you know what caused the fire? I don't think fixing this house would have been worth it. Building or buying new is much cheaper. It's just so sad that all those memories are burned away. Many greetings from Germany.
You asked many times why they didn't take certain items... clothes in particular would be forever ruined by the soot and water damage from the fire. Photos would be contaminated, and it is recommended by the fire department to not take them as they now carry carcinogens linked to cancer. Dishes could have been washed, but would still pose a risk of contamination. Furniture and toys are also typically left behind for the same above reasons.
What a gorgeous home! Also what a sad home. I wish I knew why people would leave those precious memories!!! Photos and books , diaries and so so so many memorable and irreplaceable keepsakes and art. I am so taken with this home as I love the brick and the entryway , the stairway is just amazing and the doors all round at the tops. So many things look like they could be kept so again I'm so sad that they left so much in this home. The windows are amazing! Also the almost wrap around deck and the absolutely gorgeous view! Wow. Thank you so much for showing us this house💞
I agree readily with you Lesley…when one speaks several languages, one can forget words in those languages, as when doesn’t practice those languages frequently.
It's hard to believe that the house was built in the 80s. It looks like old France with an Italian touch. Shame to lose such a beautiful home to fire. Great tour as always Leslie.
Probably family heirlooms and architecture theyve kept for many centuries make it lool older.
Leslie, I’m glad that you are doing the video without the others in the scenes. Yes I watch only your videos because of your very sweet and gentle ways. I love you Lesley.

My grandparents were lucky to escape before the war.
Such a beautiful place it's awful that nobody came back and took out some of the gorgeous antiques that are there Really enjoy your explorations
Brother Lesley, I wish I could have gotten a hold of you since my father passed last memorial day week. It would have a blessing for you to do a video on my parent's house in the suburbs of Philadelphia because so much memories both good and bad were there...
Love the deck, don't blame them for leaving thing because you can't get the smell out every

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*
Your politeness and respect for the buildings as well as the former residents is refreshing in this day of every man for himself. Thank you for bringing me places that I can't go... stay safe!
My family and I are orthodox Jewish and I loved this…Mazel Tov ❤thank you.......we live in Upstate NY... This was amazing...wow..
Sam, so sad 😥

You did a great job getting around the house and filming being as there was a houseful when you were there! Very unique place!
When my brother's house burnt, I went through the house with a Firefighter and she told me not to touch anything because of the many different chemicals that are burnt during the fire. There can be a lot of poisonous gases that are not seen. these gases can be deadly. I woudl think that is why things are left behind after a fire.
What a wonderful home - thank you for showing it. And glad the family who lived there is safe. 😊
Thank you, Lesley. I enjoyed the comradery with the fellow TH-camrs and the young men from the community to assist. It is a beautiful place.
Let it be known to all:
Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
I tell ye, truly, Jesus of Nazareth is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. He is the anointed one, for he is, Jesus Christ. God the Father has raised him from the dead; who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God! Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by him. They who believe and are baptized with the Holy Spirit shall be saved; but they who believe not shall be damned. For they who believe not on him, shall die in their sins!
I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
1 John 2:2 KJV
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Acts 13:26-33 KJV
26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, *and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.*
27 *For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.*
28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
29 *And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.*
30 *But God raised him from the dead:*
31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
32 *And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,*
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
1 Peter 3:22 KJV
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
John 14:6 KJV
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Mark 16:16 KJV
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
John 8:24 KJV
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Luke 11:13 KJV
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
John 14:21-24 KJV
21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.*
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.*

I agree 💯 %!!!!!
So nice of the young Jewish boys
To share what they knew about the house
And saved you from getting your car towed
What an awesome encounter with the school boys.
Super documentary Lesley ❤️! Keep up the amazing work. I watched the replay 📸.
This is my first time on your channel and it’s nice to see some one taking care of someone else’s property and there private property
Lovely video, Lesley. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you to the Jewish boys who came to check on the house and help with it's history. God Bless you all and God Bless the Bros Of Decay also 😇❤🙏
How are you Lesley, this is another one of those awesome wonderful house, I’m sad to see a beautiful place like this that ruins by fire, I’m glad do that the people live there are ok and safe, always stay safe and god bless you❤
Something doesn’t add up. House was in the middle of being sold, catches fire no home insurance. All items left behind. I smell something nefarious.
I would think with no homeowners insurance policy it's a loss (unless it factors into income tax)??
I have heard of situation where the owners arranged (loss and lots of smoke damage)
then run to cash in on the insurance, but not when there isn't
I agree something doesn't add up (deleting coverage especially when you can afford it)
Definitely positively heard of local poor people losing their home to kitchen fire and no homeowners insurance and then the community bails them out after.
Bit mysterious
@@RetroCaptain wonder if it was in foreclosure. They cancelled homeowners policy and set fire to the place to screw the bank.
Yeah something is off. I wonder if it was set on fire purposely?
They probably had insurance. I’m a tri-state area local. This is so common for insurance collection in… some area communities, that it has the unfortunate stereotype: “j*wish lightning”.
Hi Leslie....beautiful house with so many memories.. very sad to see the fire accident happened in the house. Thank u so much
Thank you for taking us with you on another epic adventure Lesley, just beautiful in every way
Thank you for shareing this.
Hi 👋 That entrance wooden door is fantastic. The ornate carving . And the foyer and the staircase are magnificent.
Thanks!
Very touching. I do hope the family does come back for their personal items. Thanks for sharing.
An amazing explore. Love this video
The house looks interesting, I really like the touch of European elegance in the interior design in some of the rooms; maybe the family would have taken back their valuables and personal items if they had been interested ;
Thank you for this nice video!
Great video! This place must have been magnificent in its time 😮😮😮
Bedankt
What a tragedy to such a beautiful home. Once again you have done a brilliant job of filming and respecting the house. The staircase reminds me of the staircase in The Sound of Music.
Hey Lesley, it's nice to see Maureno with you
Adding to the fire damage, the smoke damage is horrendous!
I'm from the Czech Republic , so the liquor is from us :-D I'm subscribing thanks for the videos
oh my god! all my fav explorers together in one place! love to all of you from australia!
Dear Leslie.. it is illegal to buy a mortgage without insurance. Very suspicious. I am happy you were able to explore my country.
Regarding the house plans you saw: Previous explores revealed that at some point there was an attempt to try salvage the home which obviously has been abandoned. They were evidently looking at how something was done from another house, and put in this one in the original.
Great explore Les! I have family in upstate NY. That guy who's with you with long hair has been with Dave from Abandoned World Explorer.
I agree it sounds suspicious. And were they renovating the home, since upstairs showed the drywall? Love your commentary Leslie!
I saw this home a year ago on a video called "Abandoned Mansion that used to belong to Betty White"
Or something like that. This house has already been vandalized so much. It is beautiful. Such a shame. 😢 safe travels and thank you for making these amazing videos!!!❤
I sincerely hope you're doing well, Leslie ❤️. It's great to be able to see these videos - please keep them coming. Take good care ❤️
It's a shame to know that vandals will target these homes - even if they are abandoned, nothing is theirs to touch or to take.
did you notice on the exterior of house, the windows near the ground, some half there still? appears old world, mud flooded, before one of last resets. refounded. it may have tunnel system. love your videos. love from boise, idaho usa
Hey Bros! Wonderful work!
I'm just very interested. Thank you. Keep it up. Very respectful. Good for you. I will watch.
Lesley., your manners are impeccable.... My heart swells with love and pride for that my life is so much richer now due to traveling to these mansions with yall..... I love you ... Abbie Eaton from Piedmont S. C.
Wonderful video and story 😍
Thank you for this beautiful video⚘👍
i so love your vidios i look forward to the next one, love you, god bless x
Amazing video again! Keep going the goodwork
Great place what a shame it burnt. I don't understand how they could leave everything behind that was save able. Thank you
I'm usually not much for mansions in general.
Your English is excellent. You do a very good job, better than a lot of people born into an English speaking family.
Bob
classic homes don't really attract me but I just realized I like your voice and narration, I mean your personality
Guys, I absolutely love this video... there is an account from so many people helps give a full picture
I love the wall chandeliers and the gold furniture the grand foyer as you go in it was nice to meet the children 😁😁😁😁 it shows they are down to earth and respect the country 🙏
Buongiorno Lesley
let me educated you a bit :)
the pic of the boy with all of the signatures is from his Bar metzva aka 13 bday.
The plastic heads are for the woman's wigs and hats (something religious).
Tamari is a girl name :)
Totty is a father or a grandfather and bobby is grandmother
about the beds- its a religious thing, even if they are married they cant sleep on the same bed when the woman is in her period.
the thing about the girlfriends at 19 its not true, at 18 they can start asking for matchmaking in which Jewish singles are introduced to one another in Orthodox Jewish communities for the purpose of marriage.
i loved the fact that you respected the house and it was a great tour.
That entry way is beautiful those stare’s are almost perfect like Titanic
The Home is Huge and lovely... awesome. Greetings from Indonesia 😊👋
What a awesome house 🏠. I'm glad that the family survived the fire 🔥. I hope that if they see this video that they will come back and get some of their memories. I really enjoyed watching this video 📹
Oh my God I just tuned in and noticed that exploring with Josh is on your channel I watch both your channels how cool
The picture of the boy, with all the writing all over it, @17:25, more or less, was most likely a Bar Mitzfa pic (sorry for the poor spelling)
@@sashasue00 Thank you for that sasha : )

I agree readily with you Lesley…when one speaks several languages, one can forget words in those languages, as when doesn’t practice those languages frequently.
what a beautiful house that was
Very sad to see things just wasting away. Beautiful
