    Hello, you're playing is wonderful! As a fellow violist, though not proffesional, I have a question: what is your trick to perfecting the intonation when playing more than one note at once? I struggle greatly with that :'-)

      I’m certainly not Mr. Issacs, he is extremely good!! No doubt has very precise intonation and tips and personal techniques to achieve that.
      But generally using scales to build your muscle memory (3rds and 6ths especially for this etude) and practicing the shifting for each finger independently. Like a pianist, these double stops are different than just playing each line separately, so experimenting with pressure and handframe can be useful too. Finding out what combination can achieve the sound you want too-more fluid or detached can impact fingering and slurring etc.
