You must listen to his Paganini Concerto with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.....It was recorded in January 2020. Special treat in that he plays his new del Gesu violin for the first time in concert..... Magical!!
Me too! I've watched so many of his videos after I watched his Bartok no. 2 (which is the best imo) and he's so inspiring! I learn so much just watching him play
I saw him perform this with the Cleveland Orchestra in 2017. Outdoor venue with thousands of people hanging on every note. Breathtaking. I believe it was his encore. Afterwards the orchestra played The Planets by Gustav Holst and Augustin sat a few rows in front of us to listen. On my way out after the performance I was sure to shake his hand. I told him "Bravo!"
I love this performance. I never quite liked Paganini until I heard Mr. Hadelich play. Somehow he manages to conceal the difficulties behind a high musicality. Usually you get the difficulties thrown into your face and I dont like it. Wherever he is, Paganini is smiling.

So far, this was one of the best performances of Paganini Caprice no. 24 i've heard so far. The notes were so clear and the tempi are not rushed. Just wow.
Well, here you have it ❤ here is finally a violin virtuoso who doesn't care about the velocity... no contradiction here because everything sounds and there is so much character in the sound, it doesn't sound it speaks ❤❤❤
Wow, incredible!!! Each variation more impressive then the last! Augustin is extremely talented and must work very hard for these accomplishments. Lots of admiration for him and joy from listening to him!
Bravo ! Bravíssimo!!! Verdadeiro artista dedicado ' rigor impecável '. Sumptuosidade de singularidade poética. Extravasamento d'alma. Furor do idioma música. J aime votre toucher, vos vibrato, vous faites ressortir toute l émotion du violon pour nous le partager. C est d une sensibilité et d une sensualité sublime. Merci à vous
I think it's the first performance of Paganini I actually liked. And I listened to Hilary Hahn and Ray Chen. It just sounds difficult. Here it actually sounds nice.
*Only the finest of musicians could manage to elevate Paganini to another realm. Technique is a means to an end, not an end in itself as this violinist so aptly demonstrates.*.
I saw him play this (I had a front row left seat) March 30, 2019 in Denver. The finger of God has blessed this man of music. And in return he has blessed audiences with the breath of life and the music of God's heart.
Beautiful left hand pizzicato
Beautiful and amazing
approved by paganini
His left hand pizz is really nice. Clean and beautiful. Quick but not rush. Very nice.
Scary Pumpkin oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Arij lol come on
This is so clean and controlled and musical! I'm just starting to discover his videos and I'm more amazed with every performance I listen.

Definitely so clean . So great
Incredible how he has the fingerboard mapped out so cleanly to within a fraction of a millimetre
Paganini just gave a Thumb up from the other world!
I have never heard such emotion from this piece...wow!

They shouldn’t put make up to cover up his scars, those are part of what made him who he is and imo he’s so much beautiful with those scars.
Wow you’re right :/ That’s rude that they think his appearance would be “distracting”

You're right. We're here to appreciate his violin playing not judge his apparience
if you think his scars are beautiful, you are distracted already by them... focus on music!!
They didn’t, that’s just what skin grafts look like.
It is marvelous to imagine that a 50 up years from now, someone will say, “Yes, such-and-such performance was lovely, but I heard Haedelich……

For me a total revelation as a violinist and artist! simply wonderful!!
I like how Sir Augustin plays it different from the other violinists.
진짜 음정 미친듯이 깔끔하다
His transition to fingered octaves at 0:57 is so seamless
Because he is the best at it
Nice those 1-3 octaves
The best violonist of the 21th century with Roman Kim !
