I used to teach in a university in the Phil for 20 years and I, as a university professor, I got used to this exchange of opinions and ideas. If I were still teaching now, how glad I would be to have this kind of students. I am sure I would always be on my toes.
Great respect for the Filipino debater... very clear in his presentation. One may not agree with him but man I love the barbs - straight up destroys his opponents in the debate. The lesser said about the British debater, the better. :)

Communism like Capitalism, Socialism, etc., is an ideogy and one does NOT become a criminal by believing and advocating an ideology. Even the PH Supreme court ruled that the CPP/NPA is NOT a Terrorist group kaya mali etong Pinoy na eto. At lalong mali ang contention niya na ang crime na isang individual ay crime ng boung group niya.

Like ISIS for example, can one of them be innocent? same thing with communist can one of them be innocent? don't be naive you know exactly what he meant. Baka ang nagsabi dilawang supreme court .sa isang pamilya na mayron makati ang kamay pasigawan ng kapitbahay mga lahi kayong ng magnanakaw.ano nangyari ngayon dahil ky xi china magnanakaw ng mga isla.
Johnny's point is to preempt terrorism by controlling communism...just like the group you mention CPP/NPA they turn out to cause terrorism hiding in a declaration that they are communist group and if you think they are not a terrorist group then you are lying to yourself.

I think you're missing the point again, because a group strives for one goal right? But not all of them will move or take action for that goal to be achieved, yet the helped to plan the act or worse the crime, so I can say that even though they weren't in the crime, they were still part of the crime. Doing nothing here is still a crime! Since the helped plan the crime.
