The part in this video that made my heart cry out is when Johnny was talking about the communists party being a bandit government. He spoke as if admonishing a theft of stealing from a long standing friend.
Imagine these topics already existed more than 50 years ago already on their debate yet this topic is still on time especially about Chinese aggression these days.

i agree with the validation syndrome. i thinks its psychological. somehow its human nature to seek validation from other person. thats why reaction video is profitable. since the viewers mostly are looking for other reactors that shares with their sentiments. when we saw others having same point of view of us, we feel happy. and what we really seek is hapiness which is the product from validation.
And we got nothing for their inclusion. So it's the worst outcome. If the UN just didn't budged and continued with negotiations, in exchange of UN membership, we could've had a united Korea

I am a Filipino myself and I agree that the inferiority complex among Filipinos has been a cancer in our society that it impedes us from progressing as a state. Such mindset should be erradicated in order for us to move forward, prevent ourselves from amalgamating to Western standards and build an identity that we can call our own.
I agree with you that asians seems to always get validation from westerners when we can actually be our own validation. I think when asians finally get to built their own Hollywood, our own grammys, oscars , coachellas etc we are much capable of having our own "Asian" standard which might be even better than the westerners cause technically are much richer when it comes to culture.
