My mom once knew an older lady who had face lifts. She had to redo them many times, cause the skin gets lose again after x years. So she had at least a couple of them, and cause of that her skin got paper thin, cause you are not going to grow more skin, it just gets thinner and thinner. She said she looked horrible, almost transparent.

You cannot see the benefit of a facelift in just seven days. It takes up to two years for the internal scarring to completely heal and edema to drain from the face. The way he looks now is not what he’s going to look like at final stage of healing. The pulled skin will loosen and he will return to looking normal only better. You must understand. These are very serious procedures with maximum scarring. You can’t see results right away you need to allow your body to heal.

The skin gets so thin that past about 70 years old it just rips like tissue paper when you try to slice into it like that. You cannot get a clean cut because the skin almost just crumbles it’s actually so scary that doctors take advantage of older people who want these procedures knowing the risk

There’s a huge illegal ring going on in korea where they hire famous surgeons to take pictures and use their pictures and degrees as advertising to boost customers and the people meet with this famous high ranked surgeon but when it comes to the surgery and the people are put to sleep a different newbie surgeon comes in and does the surgery most often times botching the surgery you guys need to research this and talk about it

@@DianaD113 My cousin got one and it looks really good. I think nose jobs are one of the few plastic surgeries that can turn out better than before as long as you go to a good surgeon. But it probably depends what is wrong. She has a bump from a broken nose so it looked much better. However, when people have large noses and want a smaller one, I think it might not look how people expect after. It's just an observation from watching Botched lol.
I mean no shit people trust them, they expect a surgeon to know what they're doing since surgery is literally their job. Like you wouldn't distrust a firefighter coming to put out a fire at your house, because you expect them to be experts at their job.
@@DianaD113i worked in an orthopedic operation room part time when i was working as a receptionist for a doctors office, people wouldn’t come to us for nose jobs, but the amount of people that assumed i wanted one because i was young is insane, and the majority of them were women. the biggest thing they told me is to wait until you’re 25. your brain is fully developed by then, so it won’t be a “phase” per say. another thing to note with nose jobs, 99.99999999% of insurances won’t cover voluntary plastic surgeries, hair transplants, any kind of cosmetic surgery that isn’t needed. realistically a nose job would cost thousands of dollars. just letting you know!!

Keep in mind these photos are veryyyy early in the healing - like 1-2 weeks. It takes 1-2 years for 100% of the swelling to truly absorb. Not to advocate for this joker of a surgeon but just to add a little insight

@@galaxyghost1340 It just comes with alot of invasive Facial surgery sadly. If you look at things like facial feminization surgeries for example. Healing is just something you cannot speed up and it varies highly from body to body how well the physical trauma is handled. Btw not a fan of the surgen at all. Just a lot of people are not aware of that if they had no consultation themself or looked up the topic.

In Korea, if you look up most of the doctors on a hospital site, they look completely different in person. They’re allowed to photoshop the hell out of their photos - even a driver’s license. Their photo will even look like their university photo (20+ years younger). I don’t think that doctor is IN Korea. 11:30 That’s called threading. It only lasts for a max of two years.
