i think its also unfair to criticize Jacksfilms for focusing on SSSniperwolf because he called out other male youtubers and Jason Derulo for this kind of content theft. also im pretty sure he'd stop if she just credited the videos.

Ironically, it’s done a lot of good for the actual content creators. He used his platform to not only bring attention to the general issue, but by actually parodying Sssniperwolf and actually giving the content creators credit…well…it actually gave them the credit they should’ve gotten in the first place…

Jack isn't harassing Lia by any definition of the word. He has been actively criticizing her. We must never, ever disallow that. Doing so would elevate rich people beyond repercussions. In fact, Jack should continue the criticism, double down on it even. This was a personal attack attempting to silence him and it must not succeed.
Legal action, demonetizement, deplatforming. SSSniperWolf is actively dangerous and has to go, by any (legal) means necessary.

What SSSniperwolf did that day was legitimately caused for her to be put into "forever box" as you call it. Sssniperwolf has already done it to herself twice in 2013 and 2016, for armed robbery and disorderly conduct/fighting.
Plus Jack didn't do anything illegal. Sure, people can question his method of trying to crack down on the content theft Sssniperwolf, XQC, Jason Derulo and such have done for the past years. If what he did was considered illegal under the eyes of the law, then youtube wouldn't even allow him to upload.
And why would Erin even be put into "forever box"? For dating Jack? She never had any direct connection to Jacksfilms and SSSniperwolf's dispute about fair use of content. Erin isn't even a content creator like her husband Jacksfilm nor has she harassed SSSniperwolf. I would even say Jacksfilms critique of SSSniperwolf's content theft isn't really close to being harassment. After all, youtube and even the internet is up to discussion no matter if people like it or not including SSSniperwolf's content. Leading to the argument that SSSniperwolf should have been ready to take critique for her more than questionable use of other people’s content with minimal effort to actually adding anything of worth or value to make it different from the original creator’s video, causing her actions being to be a good example of theft of intellectual property. :)

Criticism is not the same as harassment. I think of the way Leafy treated pokemane. Leafy actually bullied her and didn’t stop making direct attacks at her on the daily. Jack has NEVER made any personal attacks on sssniperwolf. He has only focused on her content. He’s never focused on her as a person. There’s the difference.

Even the most braindead lawyer could get her for anything from stalking (figuring out where he lives), harassment (actually following through by showing up at his house despite the clear proof from Jacks live reaction telling her to leave them alone), threats (showing up _in the middle of the night after leaving a really threatening message_) and so on.
The doxxing itself _might_ be legal (actually no, pretty sure their state actually has that specifically, so even on doxxing alone she's screwed), but all the implications and context are very much not legal.

I really hope this is the final nail in the coffin for her career. Jack is one of the few remaining old school TH-camrs who’s super kind and genuine. He didn’t deserve this for criticizing someone and wanting TH-cam to do something about it. I just hope Jack and the family are safe..

Actually, doxing is illegal in California. Most commonly, it is classified as “electronic cyber harassment” and is detailed under California Penal Code 653.2. It is a misdemeanor and punishable up to serving 1 year in jail, probation, and $1,000 in fines.
Yep - it isn't always pursued because it's not always worth the effort (cost of lawyers may outweigh any payout) and sophisticated doxxers know how to do so anonymously, but it certainly is illegal in Cali

SSSniperwolf was actually being negatively impacted by JJJacksfilms. If you watch the vids Jack highlights a bunch of creators who were empowered by him to make a copyright claim. As a result her team has had to edit a bunch of videos to remove clips to the point where her bottom line may be impacted as she barely hits midrolls with many of her videos (sign of a lazy creator right there). I can understand why that would make someone like her mad. That being said, she has no leg to stand on. Even before the doxxing she had nothing to stand on but now? Definitely not.
And it's not like he was attacking hard work done by her and her editors, he was getting people to rightfully report her videos for copyright infringement. She used their videos without consent, it's not Jack's problem that she doesn't have content without people to unknowingly steal from.

Them showing up at your house feels like they are destroying your privacy while also sending this message saying "I know where you live so you better watch out". Jack was trying to use criticism to make her change her ways, and movilized original creators to claim their videos on the compilations so she lost several of her videos and had to edit many of them. But to be fair he never said anything against HER it was always against her way of doing things.

Jack was working under Free Use laws. What he did is called critique. What she did is call him a creep and sexist (even though he has called out men for the same thing ie Jason Derulo). She also put him and his family in danger. What she did was irresponsible and childish. Because doxxing is illegal in California, Jack does have legal options, that does not include shooting anyone. Remember, California and Texas have different laws. He could only fight back physically if he thought 1. His life was in danger or 2. She entered the house. I hate how they literally looked up the definition of ‘harass’, learned that Jack is NOT harassing her by definition, then Ethan went on to make the case that him harassing her is warranted. It also makes me wanna pull my hair out when they make a whole document for Ethan putting all the events in order and somehow he always finds a way to give us the info out of order, even though it’s literally in front of his face in the right order with all the context that he needs. What I think is likely happening with Team TH-cam is that they do have a smaller team of staff working on the weekend, but this involves such high profile TH-camrs that it was above their pay grade - they waited until their bosses came in on Monday to escalate this through the proper channels and get the legal team involved. I imagine there’s a lot of meetings and hair pulling going on there as they gather evidence and way up their options on how they want to respond.
Seeing as how they are joking about it on social media and still haven't taken any action, I'm pretty sure they're just waiting it out and hoping people will forget. They wouldn't want to lose their cash cow 😢🙄

My daughter used to watch her occasionally and I just remember hearing her voice while cooking, cleaning, getting ready and being like “WTF ARE YOU WATCHING? Why is she talking like that???” I finally actually sat and looked her and her content up (beforehand I had briefly watched to make sure it was ok for my daughter) and then she was added to the banned channels in the house.
