People with lactose intolerance don't whine about milk or dairy products. There is Nothing wrong with products that are aimed at weight loss. After all weight is not always about your looks. It's Demi's responsibility to deal with those feelings. The same way that recovered alcoholics may be triggered by drinking but can't tell stores not to sell alcohol

Here’s the evidence for it being someone Demi knows:
1. This kind of call is “Stan” behavior. Meaning it was someone who loved Demi coming and called in to come to her defense.
2. They said they weren’t a fan. So they don’t watch the show regularly to stumble across this topic. Someone told them, and they came here SPECIFICALLY for the demi situation.
3. The voice sounded more mature like a mother or someone older. You don’t typically see “Stan” call ins to defend celebrities coming from an older demographic. Especially if they “aren’t a fan”. It wasn’t like they watched the show and felt some type of way they were SENT to it.
4. This leads me to believe that this was someone who is in Demi’s life and felt compelled to call a podcast they don’t watch to defend her
this can also explain the deeper cut of her family’s anger with Ethan. If one of them actually had a conversation with him, but it didn’t turn out the way they planned, then that’s how they remember him and his thoughts on their family.
I don’t think it was her mother specifically, the voices don’t really match. But it does sound like a maternal figure or someone close.
Her sister is a known YT fan too. Was friends with Jessi Smiles, collabs with YT ppl for fun etc so makes sense for her to be a part of it more than the others

Time passed and she got reminded about Trisha and Ethan on media. Trisha was trending because of the Coleeen situation and Ethan because of major media mentioned the pod with SA allegations for minor star. And then she posted this tweet.

Yeah as a type one diabetic I rarely see diet or low carb stuff at stores (especially yogurt ones), so I sincerely appreciate when stores have them available and not hidden!

Cause guess what there’s people losing weight trying to work on their relationship with food. So the reassurance is necessary for some while it triggers you. From the POV of someone freshly sober, with brain damage, a severe eating disorder, and the stimuli of it all WOULD make someone fame or not have a reactive response. It's 1000% irrational to others to see POV that they do not have such as an ED, with acquired traumatic brain injury, the body is adjusting to sobriety....behaving like this is actually pretty much like, how could she/they or anyone NOT have a over the top (to others) reaction. It was so so so terrible she tagged the place. Having worked with ppl with this cluster of "health issues" this kind of blowing up about something a common thing. It's not any behavior to condone by any means. I am no doctor nor Demi's doctors so this is just going off of what Demi has been vocal about and working with ppl with ED/aTBI/Substance Use Disorder/ cPTSD/sexual abuse survivors/including child abuse...fame and "having a thick skin" plays no baring on how the brain is prone to be highly reactive due to all of the trauma both physical and mental the brain that happens to be Demi Lovato's has experienced. Touch customer to understand and work with and very very hard to see beyond the entitlement in the behavior and the added fame, masks the reality of the emotionally and irratic and toxic behavior from someone who is unable for various reasons to control their impulse to "act like a child" or be emotionally reactive due to potential brain damage/trauma history. Doesn't change the cringe doesn't take away what happened after that tweet that unfortunately even if she had a TBI sort of injury is STILL ACCOUNTABLE FOR. For the family, it's very very hard to watch someone with this kind of cluster of health issues to be compassionate and redirect this kind of behavior as part of the recovery process of not only sobriety, but potential aTBI, and some pretty severe childhood and adulthood sexual abuse/assaults, and overdoses to the point she was in a coma. That is a very extreme overdose. I think that just trying to objectively go wow that brain has been through a lot fuck, kinda makes sense, and I 1000% hope you guys do an interview at THAT yogurt place but that's it. No jokes, the atmosphere is enough irony but the convo would be interesting for sure and has the potential to talk further on some serious topics that make ppl react this way etc. Etc.
I just watched a video of Madison De La Garza for voice reference, and the whole video was her talking about how she recently became sober, just like “Sasha” did in this video… the video of Madison was from a few months ago, and she was talking about becoming sober in the past tense, so the timelines definitely could line up. I’m pretty sure it was Madison who called! Voices are similar, too.

while there's definitely a conversation to be had towards diet culture and eating disorders, demi's approach was completely out of line, harmful, and did not align with eating disorder recovery at all. As someone who has been a Demi fan since 2012 and has supported her journey of recovery, this yogurt situation was something I couldn't agree with or support. For context, I'm 30 years old and have been to treatment for an eating disorder throughout the past decade. I'm well aware of what recovery looks and feels like, and sometimes that means seeing, hearing, and being physically surrounded by triggering things. In no way, shape or form, was this an appropriate discussion. she blasted a small business for having accommodating foods, and should rightfully be blasted for her actions and words that harmed a business that truly was at no fault. I don't think she deserves hate but she does deserve to be humbled. Her sisters just seem bored, and I'd leave it at that.

Perspective of a Type 1 Diabetic:
HATE to be this person… BUT..The ABSOLUTE fucking struggle to go anywhere and eat or hangout with your friends to eat is usually such a hassle sometimes you give up on doing those fun things. Diabetes is a MUCH harder disease to deal with than most people think. That being said sugar free and diet foods a lot of times that are marketed toward us are still too high in carbs and may cause spikes anyway.
There are so many conditions and diseases we will never be able to understand all of them. Though I don’t blame her for being annoyed at it, I do think that outwardly calling out a small business is negligent because it is known that you CANNOT control your fans. And there are those who will do anything to feel as if they’re protecting their favorite celebrity.
I have never been a fan of Demi Lovato, however both can be true. These diet/sugar free marketing can be majorly unhelpful (even to diabetics like me) AND Demi was being a dick by putting a target on their backs. 🤷🏻♀️
Lastly, I always remind myself how unnatural fame is, the amount of people who are watching you and idolize you. They aren’t freely allowed to do the things that I do. If I had a horrible experience I could complain to the 30 people who watch my story and be done with it. I can imagine those slip ups are not malicious (I will acknowledge that sometimes they are) but it should be a learning experience for them. Fame sounds like it sucks ass, but most of us will never know because we will never experience what it’s like to be in her position.

I think it’s Dallas. It could be Demi but if we’re being real it sounds more like Dallas and the way the girl is talking it sounds like a person within her circle perspective. I doubt Demi would risk being recognized or this invested
as someone who has been through eating disorder treatment twice now, i have seen peoples lives torn apart by a disorder fueled by “diet culture” (meaning a global idealism and specialization of skinny women and a medical community that upholds that skinny is healthy, do the research on that one) and i have seen them be put back together by practicing health at any size, all food is good food etc. to the demi point, part of treatment is learning how to get the frozen yoghurt anyway even though your triggered and use your toolbox to work through the feelings.
Sure they’re alive now by practicing health at any size and all food is good food and it’s great that they’re over their Ed, but that’s not a good way to continue to live. Being overweight and/or eating an unhealthy diet will more than likely kill you early. It’s not healthy to get over an Ed by eating like shit you go from one unhealthy to another. Health at any size is just scientifically wrong. It’s not healthy to be anorexic and it’s not healthy to be overweight either. I’ve gotten over 2 different eating disorders (anorexia and binge) so have some experience with this
@@mollie.28.15 Not all food is equally nutritious or beneficial for your health, but no food is “bad” in the way that many eating disorders can make you believe they are. Many disordered eaters will feel deeply anxious if they eat something other than the few foods they believe are “good”. It can lead to panic attacks, harmful behaviour ect ect ect. It’s not unlike the compulsive thoughts found in OCD. “All food is good food” is just a mindset that you need to learn to recover from this compulsive mindset, and eat nourishing food because you enjoy them and care about your health, not because they are “good”, AND treats in moderation because they bring you joy ✨. Food is not only fuel. It can be social, emotional, comforting, nostalgic, cultural and traditional. Hope this makes sense 🫶. Also in the case of recovering from anorexia, literally eating anything is better than nothing. So even if it’s junk, it will keep you going so you might have a chance of improving

Not only was the yogurt thing inconsiderate to a variety of communities but it’s very entitled and ignorant. Sugar free products don’t exist to make Demi cry herself to sleep, they exist so people who can’t have sugar (or much) can enjoy ‘normal things’. i was a demi stan for a lot of years and the caller sometimes sounded like her sister dallas but i really don’t think it’s her or anyone of the family. the callers voice was a bit lower then theirs.
also it’s so sad that they can’t admit that demi was just completely in the wrong in this situation. if she didn’t tag them and just talked about diet culture being bad for body image it would’ve been perfectly fine. just the defensiveness is not a good look and makes demi and her sisters look very immature.
i did also want to mention that i remember some drug and brain damage jokes in one or some of those clips but i think you guys didn’t watch those long enough. when i was watching those podcasts i definitely remember feeling like that was in bad taste so maybe they saw that and that’s why they hate you?
