    Props to her. She will return stronger and greater.

      Do you think an MP questioning a businessman should give her parliament login to a rival businessman?

    • @shelldie8523
      @shelldie8523 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      @@pranavmarlaa businessman who's earned trillions in govt contracts. To become Indias richest man? Yes.
      Questioning such dealings is invaluable for India.
      And the login is just an excuse to pull her down. It would be something else if not this.
      No one seems to mind a convicted terrorist like pragya Thakur who's supposed to bedridden on parole is out campaigning but questioning the bjps investors gets you a boot.

    • @pranavmarla
      @pranavmarla 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @@shelldie8523 I am not debating about any other issue, just this specific one. You might have your opinion and I have mine. I think if a rival businessman is buying you gifts and has your parliament login details, then that is corruption and she needs to be removed for it.
      I agree about the pragya thakur situation with you but letting corporates control our MPs should be banned. Remember, lobbying is still illegal in India.
      And this is not some smear job, she has literally accepted the fact that she has taken gifts from Darshan and that he has the login details
      I am all for questioning those in power, just not by 2 rupee hacks who will sell democracy for a LV bag.

    • @kamaljain5228
      @kamaljain5228 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pranavmarla one also needs to show that the login was used by the competing business for a personal benefit. as it turns out, committee accepted that the login can be given to an employee or contractor, and it is not uncommon for people to use friends as "free" contractor. at the most she and others who do that can be given a warning. further, even if this was a huge wrongdoing, given the fact that she confessed to it very early on, justify a smaller punishment, such as suspension from one session.
      she did take unnecessary "risk", by accepting favors from a friend. taking risk is not illegal though. it is best for people in position to not accept favors, even from friends, because they are taking the risk of being accused.
      taking risk does not resolve an ethic committee from seeking solid evidence of wrongdoing before pronouncing someone guilty.
      further, it is not wrong to solicit questions you ask, from public or even friends.
      anyway, those are technicalities.
      what should voters be concerned here, which is far more important than her career. she is clearly deceived by a close friend. a friend, who earlier denied any involvement. in a few days, that friend implicated her. question voters must ask, who did it benefit? who must have caused it? why that person or organization did it? what were they trying to hide or avoid? if you ponder on these questions, you will have better clarity on the entire episode.

    Hello Faye. I was one of those who was happy when you left Mirror Now, because I felt that there would be one more independent, intelligent and articulate voice in the media. However, all you seem to be doing is collecting, summarizing and reporting facts that are already out there. Where is your viewpoint? Where is the courage to take a stand? Where is the independent thinking that distinguishes adequate journalism from the good and the great?

    Lets set the context - All political party / members is corrupt and so is she - none of them are saints.
    Faye, has given an excellent chronology in this video. By going through the said chronology, Lets hypothetically think GOI is a privately held company and all Indian based company have below basic policy
    1. Do not share password with anyone else / even with your managers or IT personal
    2. If you take a gift > $50 (depends on company to company, but very cheap) or more, you cannot accept it. If you do accept it, declare it and there should not be quid-pro-quo (This is what democrats were trying to get Donald on)
    If you were a HR, what would you do if your employee do following things.?
    1) Shares a password with external personal (who then logins from some middle eastern country - which might put your company's IP at serious danger if the said country monitors internet traffic)
    2) Takes an expensive gift and asks questions written by the gift giver. (quid-pro-quo).
    would you let them off or fire them.?
    **** lets be clear its not an insult to democracy, if you dig the hole and jump in it and complain your opponent throw soil on top. ****

But I strongly feel that in this age of social media and hyper awareness levels, it would only be proper to highlight how many are criticising the move and how many supporting. That will surely make it a more receptive news analysis. I am just commenting on the statement you made in the video that the action by the parliament is attracting big criticism. I have been scrolling X and various TV news and TH-cam videos on the subject. The action has also garnered big support from the public. So, big criticism and big support both need to be highlighted. Or else it may sometime give an impression of partial reporting. 🎉

    Of late most(not all ) Girls treat their Boyfriends as (pet) dogs😀😀. But her spat over a dog with her Boyfriend made her life (socially) worst than stray dog.
    i read " Barking dogs seldom bite " But i learnt from Mahua's episode that they will be beaten and bitten if they bark unnecessarily /unfaithfully. This issue might settle if she calms down now. But if she goes to the court then it might fireback at her in the form of CBI investigation. BJP is awaiting for this move from her side.

    Wah u don't want to write your own questions so you give your passwords to an industrialist who is not given any salary to write it but rather is giving gifts to you . And the fun part is it is the same person who is the business rival of adani who is by the way most frequently attacked by mahua ji in the parliament. And please explain if you hier someone then you give the salary or the other person 8n return give you gifts . WTF there is not even a shade of grey it is as black and white as it could get.

      Have you heard of Kent RO. A parliamentarian asked several questions for them including how to make them a household brand. Interesting question isn't it?

    Modi on one hand says he wants opposition parties so that his govt can perform better and next minute he silences those opposing their Act, should people / citizen have such people in Govt.

    Are we as a country okay with an MP questioning a businessman while handing her parliament login to a rival businessman?
    All the BS aside, this is a question we should ask ourselves

      When a whole govt. support businessman Adani, should we worry about a businessman questioning on behalf of an MP? What did he ask and did he benefit from asking those questions?

    • @pranavmarla

      @@venkateswarluk5133 The question is not about whether he benefitted or not, you need to understand that once you set a precedent on something like this, it is accepted forever.
      Let's assume for a second that he didn't benefit from it and Mahua was not sacked. It would show every businessman in India that if you can give expensive gifts to politicians, they will do their bidding for them.
      I am all for questioning Adani, but just not by this shameless woman who thinks receiving gifts from a rival businessman and giving him her Lok Sabha login details is no big deal. This is about the integrity of the Indian political system.

      @@pranavmarla Does the Indian political system as any integrity? If it has, the majority of elected representatives with criminal cases wouldn't have been elected. When there are no saints, we have no choice but to support the lesser of two evils. Also, selective targeting of those questioning the govt. would raise doubts even if she did something wrong.

      @@venkateswarluk5133 YOU think it is the lesser of evils, I don't. And the majority of Indians don't either that's why BJP continues to win elections with greater margins.
      India has a huge problem with electing competent leaders. It is a fundamental flaw in the Indian constitution which needs fixing. But does that mean that we should forget about any other acts hurting democracy? Absolutely not.
      Yes, the Indian political system has some level on integrity, even with our flaws we have done a good job in keeping corporate control out of law-making. A good example of what happens when you let companies pay politicians to push their agenda is America which has entered into multiple wars because of lobbying by the military industrial complex.
      I don't think giving a rival businessman LOK SABHA LOGIN DETAILS should be tolerated in anyway, regardless of where you stand on the political spectrum.

      @@pranavmarla I agree with what you said when Adani's business deals with BJP are discussed. NDTV, which used to be anti-BJP, has become pro-BJP after it was purchased by Adani's group. If winning elections makes politicians saints, then Congress must be whiter than white to win elections many times compared with the BJP.
