18:30, you can actually find the "DEA Officer" in this mission by not taking the dossier immediately after killing the guy, eventually the "DEA Officer" will come to the dossier and replace the role of the guy till the rest of the mission like normal.

For 6:19, I think it was a sarcastic line said by tenpenny, by saying he was an (aircraft) enthusiast, he was implying a reason for his body to be at the airfield. It fits in line with his other sarcastic comments throughout the story
Wow. A 18 year-old game that still has previously hidden and unknown content being revealed and discovered. This feels like some sort of archaeology, thanks Badger, Vadim and all other contributors!

17:37 Based on the fact that Chopper Overhead was originally CRASHV2 and was started way earlier, and presuming the cutscenes are listed in order they were made, then it's possible to draw the conclusion that Chopper Overhead originally had the one cinematic (mocaped) cutscene right? That would explain the lack of an a/b designation and the separation in the list. Depends on what other missions are earlier in that list I suppose. Also since that one "Now you've got the heat on you!" line doesn't include the red colour identifier, is it not possible it was just intended to give you a wanted level and not outright fail the mission? Another excellent video though, the research and effort put into them is insane as usual!
I could listen to the silky smooth voice of BadgerGooger all day. Thanks, Vadim, for your investigations and BG for your voice-acting. Such a dream-team.

6:07 I think Tenpenny said Jimmy was an "enthusiast" so the previous phrase of taking him to the aircraft graveyard didn't imediatelly incriminate him. I guess he tought his phone was being tapped and was trying to make it seem he was talking about another hernandez, not the now dead Officer Hernandez. This also kinda makes it seem that the FBI was onto Tenpenny.
This looks way in early development of the game. You can clearly see that throughout the game that Tenpenny never calls you to give you clues or tips except "Go do this or go do that." This is the same as Photo Opportunity. There's a lot missing or weird stuff going on, those mission were too long or required more animations and VA and doesn't fit the 'style' of missions in the game, they had to change them, I think.

My theory is that the mini game for digging the hole would be more comparable to the gym workout minigame which requires repetitive key tapping. It seems more apt.
I think the intro cutscene from High Noon (CRASHV2A) was probably for Chopper Overhead, and Pulaski's car could've been the car that can't be spotted (since it has a big PULASKI on the back). The mission would play with CJ taking Tenpenny and/ or Pulaski to the motel while avoiding roadblocks (because a cop or two in a civil car is a bit weird), then the Motel Guy, already on Tenpenny's payroll, would give you a shovel as a snarky "now the problem's yours" move. As for digging a hole, could've been anywhere on the desert (or even special places that has holes). This mission probably slowly morphed to High Noon because it doesn't make sense that CJ can only bury the body, and not dump somewhere else, so they probably thought someone would be observing CJ, and that person is Pulaski... then they thought that, since they need to rendezvous on a desolate place, and the desert have plenty, which could also fit for burying a body, then they combined both... but then Pulaski would meet and observe you burying a hole there, and not kill you just in case, so they changed that, and made CJ try to kill Pulaski, and, at this point, they probably didn't find a more logical way that Pulaski would run away after Hernandez being buried, so they made a scene that Hernandez tries to push Pulaski but dies in the digged hole and haven't found a way to connect this to Pulaski running away to this day. Reverse engineering an idea is hard, so that's just my opinion
17:06 kinda funny because I started shooting Pulaski using a Sawn-off Shotgun with the skill at max. The car doesn't get damaged when I was shooting Pulaski while he was heading at his car. Once he got in. He immediately gets out of the car and starts raising his hands while saying some lines like "Carl. CJ. We're friends, right!?"
If you use the infinite ammo cheat with max skill sawn-off it pretty much becomes a minigun, you can make a car explode in like 1 second. Had a lot of fun back in the day with that.

And it definitely seems 10× more times more fun than the actual high noon.
Fun Fact:The Cut Mission Chopper Overhead from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was renamed to Tow-truck Trouble and is going to be a part of the Story Missions of Grand Theft Auto:Tales from Vice City which set in 1985 and the Mission was given by a Corrupt Vice City Police Officer,
What an interesting find! That concept where if they managed to spell out the car's license plate was also used in an earlier Rockstar game called The Italian Job. One of my guess that they drop this concept here is because it sucked so bad even in the earlier game.
This is my favorite gta of all time but even i can say that it suffers plot holes lol. Same with Ryder's role (where people are spreading false info that Ryder's va left cause of payment issues)

I feel like this cut mission is the first part of the original version of high noon where you are forced to cover up tenpenny's murder of hernandez as you hands over the dossier(if there is one) while the proper high noon would happen the moment you finished digging where pulaski comes to kill CJ and retrieve Tenpenny's car(which is probably the buffalo), Only for CJ to overpower and disarm him, before chasing pulaski down with the car pulaski didn't drive away in and kill him. And it definitely seems 10× more times more fun than the actual high noon.
Fun Fact:The Cut Mission Chopper Overhead from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was renamed to Tow-truck Trouble and is going to be a part of the Story Missions of Grand Theft Auto:Tales from Vice City which set in 1985 and the Mission was given by a Corrupt Vice City Police Officer,
Very interesting video. Also, I love your voice badger
Ohh.... Vadim uploaded this will make my day🔥🔥
What an interesting find!
That concept where if they managed to spell out the car's license plate was also used in an earlier Rockstar game called The Italian Job. One of my guess that they drop this concept here is because it sucked so bad even in the earlier game.
Almost 2 decades later and we've still learning about cut content from these old games. Call it digit al archaeology
Lmao imagine retyping an above popular comment
@@Syx_Hundred Lmao imagine leaving a reply as useless as yourself
@@YAH2121 I could've said the same thing about your comment G hahahaha
I'm glad this was cut. It all looks like it's from a childs mind.
This is my favorite gta of all time but even i can say that it suffers plot holes lol. Same with Ryder's role (where people are spreading false info that Ryder's va left cause of payment issues)
8:19 I think the lack of r token means that you could still beat the mission, but now you have a wanted level you need to lose. (= just a game devs' perspective
Vadim Goodger is my favorite duo on TH-cam
I love your content
Damn, I've never caught a video so quickly after being uploaded, less than a minute.
Palaski's gun landing in Carl's hand would have been an awesome full circle recalling the opening scene where he "retrieves the murder weapon" off him (which i guess they just planted on CJ and took it off him again or something?)
badger's voice is so soothing, i can listen it all day long
