Out of all the chars revealed so far, my go to pull is Hades and Athena based solely on eyecandy. I like the game as it is now cuz there's no leaderboard, u can use whatever char u want without being creeped by 100x meta users dominating the board.

But in my honest opinion, I think pulling who you really like will be the best route but will also test your patience. Because in my case, I am having a blast playing the game that way. Save, pull for character you want, hope to get them early, then save again. Maybe to you, it will be the same, and still wish you luck bruv!

Power creep is inevitable in most gacha games, but at least here in AG it looks like it doesn't hurt as much as other games, best example is 1.1 where we get Hela and Hera, Hela after a year in CN is still highly rated ranked T0.5 while Hera is still Hera lmao.
Hel in bad spot though because she is released before hera and hades, which make a lot player skip her. Also her gameplay isnt flashy which make it worse. Also the fixation toward meta make the fanbase kind of annoying as if you dont pull hera and hades, you are fucked up.

@@jaymerka5875 Idk how it was in CN version, but so far global's been pretty alright, I've paid a little into the game (Around $100 overall) and have managed to get all the characters so far (with some luck obviously). Now getting the sig functors on top of the characters isn't as likely as I've only gotten 3 so far (2 of which were guarantees (Tsuki's and Ryugiri since he was my first S character), the 3rd being Hera's since I'd heard it was quite important).
I started playing this game a week ago so far and I've been really liking to play Ryugiri even though he isn't the strongest, and I've been using an Asura and Nuadha team with him. I wonder if Flame Tyr would replace either Asura or Nuadha in a fire team with Ryu
So Functor is really important as Modifier... i think I'm gonna keep saving those Functor Scan till its enough for pity pulls. Can't rely luck too much.
Unless you're saving for a functor of the new faction, you don't need to save until pity. If you pull the unawakened version you can just wait until the intended character is released to awaken it

Currently 3 weeks but I think they changed that to 4 weeks later on either because people were complaining that they didn't have enough pull currency or because they wanted to take more time for new characters (or both, really), not sure.

similiar Functor is attached to a weapon, which in this game pretty much the same as attached to the character itself. It added buff, special effect, and sometimes even extra skills to the characters. (That's what i read in tutorial) there's a specialized functor for specific character (it literally only gain effect if it's used by the specific character)
i personally want to get Shu, but if Hades banner would come-out before Shu, do you think its a good idea to skip Hades because she has a banner rerun? i hope global version doesn't release Hades & Shu at the same time...its hard to gather shiftstars especially if you're f2p player...
Hades and Shu should be in same version as first half will be Hades and second half will be Shu. Hades will make your Aether gazer life easier so i would suggest you to try to pull Hades few times to get some pity count then decide.

As someone who wants to get S Shu I don't understand why she's in Tier 2 though. I understand that she's a little complicated to play, but is it solely because of her damage or no?
I'm also gunning for Shu, as I love dual spear characters. I'm pretty sure a lot of lists don't understand her and that she needs to both change between her stances and counter to be effective. Either way, as he said regarding Osiris you never know when they'll get buffed so just go for her if you really like her. I believe she migrates to the standard banner sometimes after her limited banner passes, so you'll be able to dupe her easily with the yellow pull currency and recurring dream currency
Maybe just because of her "complicated" playstyle. But skills of each player varies, so you might as well have her easy and fun to play than most other players (including me). Also, most high damaging dps' in-game were way easier to play than her so that's why I think she's ranked low.
What's wrong with Leviathan? she isn't ranked high as a buffer unit? I thought she was the only S rank healer unit plus the only unit that could remove the cc duration on bosses so you can chain cc boss. is that true?

It’s not like your account is doomed If you don’t pull for Hera or Hades, and it’s not like you can’t use Leviathan because she placed lower in the tier. The thing is people say this game doesn’t need healers, because it’s always optimal to not get any damage at all

Man, I was waiting for Hades because I was so mesmerized by the way she looked. Also, I was so into shadow-like dodging effects and also being a Mami figure. But to know she's also a good character too? Welp, I was howling like a dog waiting for her. But damn, I felt shafted because I thought she'll be out earlier than Hera but nope. And right now, I pulled S Hera just for saving myself some trouble in later game stages for being my guardian angel. I guess I just have to save again enough for one Hades and her Sig Functor.
just how important are the signature functors? Can you clear all contents in the game without them? I am already out of my resources just trying to pull a single S rank lol.
It is relatively important for some, quite important for very little amount of characters (like 2 S rank, don’t know about A ranks though but who use them anyway), and yes you can clear everything without it
I think you can still clear all contents but will take more time. Try to get the signature functor for your main dealer when you have some banners that you want to skip. 👍

@@otomon5 Oh you mean the basics to get signature functor. You better watch the beginner's guide. In functor gacha you need to choose the Gen-zone which is Olympus for Hera and evocate it to signature one. It will be easy to understand once you watch the guide. 👍
It's hard for me to get signature functors😢 Since both voucher cost 2k for 10x pulls 😢 If u not lucky enough, u'll missed both the characters and functors while it cost every crystals u have 😢😢
i only follow these rules in my pulls and has nothing to do with tier list and all that boring stuff: 1. waifu must be thicc. 👍 2. waifu must smokin' and sizzlin'🔥🔥🔥 3. if in doubt, follow 1 and 2. 😉

You need to think tier list is at version 2.1 and around here is more like clear with high damage. Of course you can still use Leviathan.

It’s not like your account is doomed If you don’t pull for Hera or Hades, and it’s not like you can’t use Leviathan because she placed lower in the tier. The thing is people say this game doesn’t need healers, because it’s always optimal to not get any damage at all
Which one of these characters play similarly with ryugiri? I love his slow and smooth rotation of attacks.
hmmm maybe flame tyr but still different. Others are all pretty fast and ryugiri is somewhat special in combat style 🤔

let see out of all of them I want hades, S rank shu, bastet, flame tyr then LIng Guang and Geng Cheng plus another one but she wont be out till 2.2 so lots of time to save.

Man, I was waiting for Hades because I was so mesmerized by the way she looked. Also, I was so into shadow-like dodging effects and also being a Mami figure. But to know she's also a good character too? Welp, I was howling like a dog waiting for her. But damn, I felt shafted because I thought she'll be out earlier than Hera but nope. And right now, I pulled S Hera just for saving myself some trouble in later game stages for being my guardian angel. I guess I just have to save again enough for one Hades and her Sig Functor.

just how important are the signature functors? Can you clear all contents in the game without them? I am already out of my resources just trying to pull a single S rank lol.
It is relatively important for some, quite important for very little amount of characters (like 2 S rank, don’t know about A ranks though but who use them anyway), and yes you can clear everything without it
I think you can still clear all contents but will take more time. Try to get the signature functor for your main dealer when you have some banners that you want to skip. 👍
U can just upgrade Ur character to S rank tho .

@@otomon5 Oh you mean the basics to get signature functor. You better watch the beginner's guide. In functor gacha you need to choose the Gen-zone which is Olympus for Hera and evocate it to signature one. It will be easy to understand once you watch the guide. 👍
