But shortly afterwards, she died and there is no information given about that were the games held or not. This is the only thing that we know for sure.

Yeah, this one was actually quite tough to write as I really had to imagine how The Capitol would see the games and in the interviews, you quietly hear her being referred to as Finch, so thought this worked best as her name :)
Yeah I have the same reaction when there's someone with a normal name in the books. I remember reading BOSAS and seeing Lucy's name mentioned and thinking how strange it was to see such a normal name!
Yeah I thought it would work OK, I did look for each of the tributes' names, but Marina was the only one I could find where the actress especially mentioned her tribute's name!
He seems to have blended the book and the movie together. Book Cato pleads for Clove to stay with him but Movie Cato was nowhere to be seen. On the other hand, he included Book Peeta finishing off the campfire girl.

"three finger salute" for Rue. Marvel throwing his spear at Rue, reminded me of Augustus throwing his knife at Heaven, with both males originating from 1, while the girls are from 11. Though Augustus won, his younger brother died, and Heaven and Rue are both stealthy.
I like that in the movies/books it was shown/told the seneca was killed/committed self game end, but since it was in the capitol's perspective, he 'retired'. A nice touch to the capitol's deception and darker side. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see how you'll describe the 3rd qq and explain the other tributes' deaths that are not shown.
In one of the earlier games (I think 68 aka the Cannibal Games) they had the head gamemaker "commit suicide" because of their shame at the games being so bad.

To hype up next week, I made this promo style set of statistics and facts revolving around the past 74 games. Picture this as a sort of trailer read in an epic Capitol voice. So here are the stats... The 75th Hunger Games 24 tributes 1 winner The prize? Power, fame, a life of luxury, but most importantly, survival What makes the Hunger Games so special? Let’s count the ways... The games start at the reaping. 2 tributes from each of the 12 districts. 1800 - The total number of tributes that have been reaped to participate in The Hunger Games over the past 74 games. Of these tributes, 1725 of them did not achieve victory. 75 winners, 59 of whom are still alive today. But with the most recently announced quarter quell, that number will soon decrease to 36. 26 days, 3 hours, 17 minutes, and 55 seconds - The duration of time that 50th Hunger Games lasted. Which is the longest of any games in history. This is largely in part due to the fact that the second quarter quell also featured a record 48 tributes. Haymitch Abernathy from District 12 won these games and holds the record for the longest time survived in the arena. However, aside from having the longest surviving tribute, District 12 also has the record for the shortest surviving tribute in history. Aside from those who died before the games started, the shortest surviving tribute in a Hunger Games is Lizbeth Martell who was impaled on a jagged rock just 5.91 seconds into the 56th games. However, Lizbeth still did better than 12 other tributes who have been reaped for the games. Since the first games, a total of 12 tributes did not survive to the gong. All of whom died before the games began for various reasons. On the topic of short, some games have a tendency to take less time such as the 6th games won by Moss Girardeau in just 56 minutes and 32 seconds, which are the shortest games in history. But outside of the original 10 games, the shortest Hunger Games was the 29th games which took 3 Days, 2 hours, 49 minutes, and 9 seconds won by “Psycho” Septimus Paddick. While most people associate The Hunger Games with a fight to the death between children, 425 deaths have resulted via starvation, dehydration, accidental slip ups, natural causes, or suicide. 394 deaths have been caused by the methods of the elite game-makers and their excellent arena management. Those were all deaths that were caused by combat between tributes. 381 - Since the first games, victors of the games have obtained a total of 381 kills between themselves, 111 of which are kills made by victors that are competing in this year’s quarter quell. 4 - The number of tributes in the games to have killed at least half the field. And of them, 3 went on to become victors including “Psycho” Septimus Paddick who holds a record 18 kills in a single Hunger Games, and “The Indestructible” Brutus Gunn with 13 kills in the 47th games. This year, Brutus is back, and he’s looking to topple his previous record but he’s also paired up with Enobaria Golding who’s tied with Tatianna Nielsen for most kills made by a female tribute at 11 kills each. Together, the district duo of Brutus and Enobaria have a combined 24 kills which is the highest combined kill count of any of the district pairs this year. One thing you may notice about Septimus, Brutus, Tatianna, and Enobaria is that they all come from the same place. District 2. District 2 has the most combat kills overall with a total of 293 kills under their belts between all of their tributes in history. 121 of which have been from District 2’s victors of the games. 14 - Aside from their towering kill count, District 2 also has more victors than any other district at 14 winners including Cassius Heath, the first victor ever. But not far behind is District 1 which has produced 12 total victors. However, a large amount of kills doesn’t necessarily guarantee victory as discovered by District 8 winners Woof Casino and Cecilia Sanchez in the 16th and 60th games respectively who both won their games without directly causing the death any other tribute. When it comes to victory, general life experiences always come in handy. Throughout history, there have been a record 21 tributes that have won from the age of 17. No tribute has ever won from the ages of 12 or 13, but the youngest winner in history is Finnick Odair who was reaped on the day of his 14th birthday and won the 65th games. Fifty years prior, at the 15th games, Tyrone Mackenzie turned 19 during the games, making him the oldest tribute to ever win the games. The most recent winners and the only co-winners of The Hunger Games, are Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark who threatened double suicide if they couldn’t both win. Both of them have returned for the quarter quell. However, District 12’s star crossed lovers may be out of luck because in all the years of the games, only twice in history has the same district won consecutive games. Both times, the back to back winning district was District 1. The first time was Silica Jones and Ferro Angstrom winning the 3rd and 4th games as well as more recently, siblings Gloss and Cashmere Ritschlund won the 63rd and 64th games. If you want insight on a specific stat, let me know and I’ll probably be able to provide for you. I have a list of the victors organized by age, a list by district, and a list by kill count. If there’s any other stat you’d like me to look into, I’d be more than happy to attempt to find it A few of these stats (Exact time of some of the games, causes of death, District 2 tributes total kill count, and money spent from sponsors) had to be made up or roughly estimated for the sake of making this flow better. I was trying to make this feel like a commercial/trailer made by the Capitol themselves and as a result, hit a lot of walls so I had to make rough estimates about some numbers due to lack of detail in earlier games. Thankfully, I still have enough info that I could make this and it is well within reason to what these games reflect. So as a whole, remember that although not every one of these numbers is exactly correct, a majority of them are. I did try my best and hope it still looks good
I just noticed that he named the unnamed tributes after the actors that played them, and that Gloss and Cahsmere "Rischlund" is literally the two actors last names combined. I love this so much lol
Apparently they did, confirmed by some actors I think, the girls from 3,6.7,9 and 10 had one alliance. Then the Girl from 6 ratted them out to the careers so she wouldn’t be a target but in the arena she got killed and then the g9 apparently danced pver her body.. She may have been a volunteer who liked the games, same with the Boy from 5. This whole thing is on a Sims hunger games 74th video comment section
Yeah I heard this, but I've never seen any proof of this, despite searching. The girl who made that comment (Julia) is rather immature and apparently makes lots of things up, so part of me wonders if she just made that up for attention etc., especially as I can't really imagine a tribute having time to dance over another's body when they're supposed to be fighting to the death. Doesn't seem right. I might be wrong, but never found any proof of this!
FOXFACE DIDN'T KILL HERSELF AND I CAN PROVE IT (In the ACTUAL cannon universe). 1. While she did do the poisonous plants thing at the training centre, Nightlock berries weren't on the list, as Katniss has also done the test, and only knew the berries were Nightlock due to her father. 2. It has been proven many times that the underdog/weaker tribute can win. (E.G. The District 6 tributes from the 75th Hunger Games which both won BY HIDING). Foxface had a really good chance to win, and why would she just throw that away? She was smart, resourceful, and should have won. She was just unlucky, and trusted Peeta.
The audience's reactions in the square are such a good touch! Really shows the power of Katniss. If Capitol citizens were that invested in her, imagine the reactions in the districts. I wish that was in the film.
Well actually, if I remeber correctly, Cato was screaming Cloves name off in the distance while Katniss regained herself, and Clove sat there and slowly bled out internally from her skull being based in, and died in Catos arms.
The way you wrote this so we saw it in the capitols eyes seriously captivated me. The thing that shocked me most was foxf- finch’s death to be revealed as, most likely, a suicide. I also love how you showed both Katniss’ and Seneca’s characters in this. I really think this was a great take on it and you did a really good job!
I love how you are so equal to the Victors. If I didn't know they were the main characters of the films. The fact how you treat them like the other Victors, I probably wouldn't know they were main characters.
I like how you added the part about there being 2 victors from the same district was interpreted by Cato and Clove and that it was always an idea since the 42nd games. They knew it in their mind that its just another strategy by the Gamemakers. Also the people of the Capitol wont be suspicious later on about why they were rules changing throughout the game.
I'm glad you acknowledged the D10 Male as a strong tribute in this game. In the Movies he survived just before the careers' supplies were blown up. Furthermore his leg was injured and they still managed to survive for a long time.

Omigosh, it's here!!! I just made coffee and sat down and thought I'd browse some random videos and the I notice the 74th games uploaded! Been looking forward to this one for so long. I'll probably edit this comment and add to it after I've finished watching :) Edit: I really enjoyed this one. It was good to hear the story from the Capitols perspective rather than the Katniss/Peeta emotional love story from the books/movies. In the book though (and I realise theses stories don't directly follow the book) Cinna asked specially to be the stylist for District 12 because he saw Katniss volunteer. Also Happy Birthday and enjoy your break. It's my birthday tomorrow. There's going to be cake. I'd love to see a video of the 10th games (Lucy Grays) done in this longer format if that would ever be possible in the future.

I was very confused at first when I saw finch doing foxface things. then i thought about it more... and the discovery came to me. and then i spent the rest of the video reminding myself that the capitol citizens would not be calling her foxface, and that foxface is not her real name.

Hey Christian, I have already replied this to your reply on my comment on your video of Johanna's games, but here I will do it again in case you miss it: I think it would be interesting if you change one aspect of your own alternate reality: the victors purge. Now I know that it is very much canon, and as such it would be easier to just say '75th hunger games: everybody dies', but I personally think it would be cool if you slightly deviated of your former works. With that I mean saving a couple of loyal victors, for me first to come into mind Augustus from a couple of games back. According to your story, he was the son of district one's mayor. It would not really make sense for Snow to kill him off, as this would surely anger one of the most loyal districts to the capitol. Similar to a couple more career victors higher up in the society in their respective districts. Killing off the districts respective figureheads and icons, the peoples of especially one and two would only be more willing to revolt into rebellion. The same goes for even district 4 to 6, though of course on not as big a scale. The result of leaving them alive does a multitude of wonderful things for you: not only allows you to dive deeper into the relationship between the capitol and its most loyal districts. It also gives an interesting contrast of a divide between the victors as a whole. Furthermore does it give you opportunities to bring back characters from former videos, something fans always enjoy seeing. The last thing worth mentioning is that they, as in the victors overall, are just really easy to use for plenty of things e.g. propoganda and formal and diplomatic occasions. Before wrapping this big chunk of thoughts up I do want to point out something that might change your mind if you weren't convinced of my idea before: In both books and movies (I believe) my entire idea has already been shown before. Namely at the point where Enobaria Golding is allowed to return to district two, where as Peeta, Johanna and Annie are being held in the capitol to be tortured, as she was supposedly against the rebellion, exactly as I suggested above. Anyway, just putting this out here for you to think about. I know that a little inspiration can never do harm to anybody. Keep up the good work!

What makes the Hunger Games so special? Let’s count the ways...
The games start at the reaping. 2 tributes from each of the 12 districts.
1800 - The total number of tributes that have been reaped to participate in The Hunger Games over the past 74 games. Of these tributes, 1725 of them did not achieve victory.
75 winners, 59 of whom are still alive today. But with the most recently announced quarter quell, that number will soon decrease to 36.
26 days, 3 hours, 17 minutes, and 55 seconds - The duration of time that 50th Hunger Games lasted. Which is the longest of any games in history. This is largely in part due to the fact that the second quarter quell also featured a record 48 tributes. Haymitch Abernathy from District 12 won these games and holds the record for the longest time survived in the arena.
However, aside from having the longest surviving tribute, District 12 also has the record for the shortest surviving tribute in history. Aside from those who died before the games started, the shortest surviving tribute in a Hunger Games is Lizbeth Martell who was impaled on a jagged rock just 5.91 seconds into the 56th games.
However, Lizbeth still did better than 12 other tributes who have been reaped for the games. Since the first games, a total of 12 tributes did not survive to the gong. All of whom died before the games began for various reasons.
On the topic of short, some games have a tendency to take less time such as the 6th games won by Moss Girardeau in just 56 minutes and 32 seconds, which are the shortest games in history. But outside of the original 10 games, the shortest Hunger Games was the 29th games which took 3 Days, 2 hours, 49 minutes, and 9 seconds won by “Psycho” Septimus Paddick.
While most people associate The Hunger Games with a fight to the death between children, 425 deaths have resulted via starvation, dehydration, accidental slip ups, natural causes, or suicide. 394 deaths have been caused by the methods of the elite game-makers and their excellent arena management. The remaining 906? Those were all deaths that were caused by combat between tributes.
381 - Since the first games, victors of the games have obtained a total of 381 kills between themselves, 111 of which are kills made by victors that are competing in this year’s quarter quell.
4 - The number of tributes in the games to have killed at least half the field. And of them, 3 went on to become victors including “Psycho” Septimus Paddick who holds a record 18 kills in a single Hunger Games, and “The Indestructible” Brutus Gunn with 13 kills in the 47th games. This year, Brutus is back, and he’s looking to topple his previous record but he’s also paired up with Enobaria Golding who’s tied with Tatianna Nielsen for most kills made by a female tribute at 11 kills each. Together, the district duo of Brutus and Enobaria have a combined 24 kills which is the highest combined kill count of any of the district pairs this year.
One thing you may notice about Septimus, Brutus, Tatianna, and Enobaria is that they all come from the same place. District 2. District 2 has the most combat kills overall with a total of 293 kills under their belts between all of their tributes in history. 121 of which have been from District 2’s victors of the games.
14 - Aside from their towering kill count, District 2 also has more victors than any other district at 14 winners including Cassius Heath, the first victor ever. But not far behind is District 1 which has produced 12 total victors.
However, a large amount of kills doesn’t necessarily guarantee victory as discovered by District 8 winners Woof Casino and Cecilia Sanchez in the 16th and 60th games respectively who both won their games without directly causing the death any other tribute.
When it comes to victory, general life experiences always come in handy. Throughout history, there have been a record 21 tributes that have won from the age of 17. No tribute has ever won from the ages of 12 or 13, but the youngest winner in history is Finnick Odair who was reaped on the day of his 14th birthday and won the 65th games. Fifty years prior, at the 15th games, Tyrone Mackenzie turned 19 during the games, making him the oldest tribute to ever win the games.
The most recent winners and the only co-winners of The Hunger Games, are Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark who threatened double suicide if they couldn’t both win. Both of them have returned for the quarter quell. However, District 12’s star crossed lovers may be out of luck because in all the years of the games, only twice in history has the same district won consecutive games. Both times, the back to back winning district was District 1. The first time was Silica Jones and Ferro Angstrom winning the 3rd and 4th games as well as more recently, siblings Gloss and Cashmere Ritschlund won the 63rd and 64th games.
A large part of the games comes down to you. The viewer. You can help decide who lives and who dies with your sponsorship. And over the years, you’ve donated over $11,000 to tributes in order to help them survive. If you have a favorite victor, you can phone in the Capitol to support them with whatever supplies you believe they need. But if you don’t plan on spending money, remember, you are still required to watch the games each day, and this year, seeing the games is more of a privilege than ever before.
Icons will collide.
Titans will fall.
One of these victors will cement themselves in history as the victor who won twice.
While a victor can simply live on, a legend will never die.

A few of these stats (Exact time of some of the games, causes of death, District 2 tributes total kill count, and money spent from sponsors) had to be made up or roughly estimated for the sake of making this flow better. I was trying to make this feel like a commercial/trailer made by the Capitol themselves and as a result, hit a lot of walls so I had to make rough estimates about some numbers due to lack of detail in earlier games. Thankfully, I still have enough info that I could make this and it is well within reason to what these games reflect. So as a whole, remember that although not every one of these numbers is exactly correct, a majority of them are. I did try my best and hope it still looks good

Apparently they did, confirmed by some actors I think, the girls from 3,6.7,9 and 10 had one alliance. Then the Girl from 6 ratted them out to the careers so she wouldn’t be a target but in the arena she got killed and then the g9 apparently danced pver her body.. She may have been a volunteer who liked the games, same with the Boy from 5. This whole thing is on a Sims hunger games 74th video comment section
Yeah I heard this, but I've never seen any proof of this, despite searching. The girl who made that comment (Julia) is rather immature and apparently makes lots of things up, so part of me wonders if she just made that up for attention etc., especially as I can't really imagine a tribute having time to dance over another's body when they're supposed to be fighting to the death. Doesn't seem right. I might be wrong, but never found any proof of this!

FOXFACE DIDN'T KILL HERSELF AND I CAN PROVE IT (In the ACTUAL cannon universe).
1. While she did do the poisonous plants thing at the training centre, Nightlock berries weren't on the list, as Katniss has also done the test, and only knew the berries were Nightlock due to her father.
2. It has been proven many times that the underdog/weaker tribute can win. (E.G. The District 6 tributes from the 75th Hunger Games which both won BY HIDING).
Foxface had a really good chance to win, and why would she just throw that away? She was smart, resourceful, and should have won. She was just unlucky, and trusted Peeta.

Well actually, if I remeber correctly, Cato was screaming Cloves name off in the distance while Katniss regained herself, and Clove sat there and slowly bled out internally from her skull being based in, and died in Catos arms.
The way you wrote this so we saw it in the capitols eyes seriously captivated me. The thing that shocked me most was foxf- finch’s death to be revealed as, most likely, a suicide. I also love how you showed both Katniss’ and Seneca’s characters in this. I really think this was a great take on it and you did a really good job!

I like how you added the part about there being 2 victors from the same district was interpreted by Cato and Clove and that it was always an idea since the 42nd games. They knew it in their mind that its just another strategy by the Gamemakers. Also the people of the Capitol wont be suspicious later on about why they were rules changing throughout the game.
Now that you think of it, Katniss and Peeta were very lucky to be in a plain forest arena, whilst other games took place in more complicated arenas.
I'm glad you acknowledged the D10 Male as a strong tribute in this game. In the Movies he survived just before the careers' supplies were blown up. Furthermore his leg was injured and they still managed to survive for a long time.

Edit: I really enjoyed this one. It was good to hear the story from the Capitols perspective rather than the Katniss/Peeta emotional love story from the books/movies.
In the book though (and I realise theses stories don't directly follow the book) Cinna asked specially to be the stylist for District 12 because he saw Katniss volunteer.

I have already replied this to your reply on my comment on your video of Johanna's games, but here I will do it again in case you miss it: I think it would be interesting if you change one aspect of your own alternate reality: the victors purge. Now I know that it is very much canon, and as such it would be easier to just say '75th hunger games: everybody dies', but I personally think it would be cool if you slightly deviated of your former works. With that I mean saving a couple of loyal victors, for me first to come into mind Augustus from a couple of games back. According to your story, he was the son of district one's mayor. It would not really make sense for Snow to kill him off, as this would surely anger one of the most loyal districts to the capitol. Similar to a couple more career victors higher up in the society in their respective districts. Killing off the districts respective figureheads and icons, the peoples of especially one and two would only be more willing to revolt into rebellion. The same goes for even district 4 to 6, though of course on not as big a scale. The result of leaving them alive does a multitude of wonderful things for you: not only allows you to dive deeper into the relationship between the capitol and its most loyal districts. It also gives an interesting contrast of a divide between the victors as a whole. Furthermore does it give you opportunities to bring back characters from former videos, something fans always enjoy seeing. The last thing worth mentioning is that they, as in the victors overall, are just really easy to use for plenty of things e.g. propoganda and formal and diplomatic occasions.
Before wrapping this big chunk of thoughts up I do want to point out something that might change your mind if you weren't convinced of my idea before: In both books and movies (I believe) my entire idea has already been shown before. Namely at the point where Enobaria Golding is allowed to return to district two, where as Peeta, Johanna and Annie are being held in the capitol to be tortured, as she was supposedly against the rebellion, exactly as I suggested above. Anyway, just putting this out here for you to think about. I know that a little inspiration can never do harm to anybody. Keep up the good work!
