The bottom line, Beth, is that its YOUR life. You know yourself, past, present, and future. No "influencer" loves you or cares about you more than you love yourself. Its between you, your family, and God. There's SO much information out there. But, it's wisdom that matters most for our lives.♥️🇨🇦

And beautiful job by Dr. Baker too, which gave you a springboard actually to further research and explain your conclusions. I've not had a stroke, that I know of, but I have a lot of strokes on my dad's side of the family and arteriosclerosis on my mother's so though I may not go full vegan, I now think I would be smart to rethink my carnivore/keto efforts of late. I’m sorry that you have had heart disease which runs in your family, but the more I read and research the more I realize that does not have to mean we will actually come down without type of problem. I think you were wise to be adding more fruits and veggies to your diet. For me, even before I became keto and carnivore, they were probably whole months where I never had any fruit, and almost no vegetables. I was eating vegetarian about 9 years ago and felt terrible because I was eating a lot of processed foods even though I avoided meat, fish and poultry. I didn't understand at the time how to get protein without meat. Now that I am following the WFPB diet this is a completely different approach! Beth, you're the sweetest and I'm so sorry this happened to you. In 2021, at healthy 47 years old, I had a blood clot in my lung (Pulmonary Embolism/PE) which is life threatening. No clots were found anywhere else in my body. Before my diagnosis, in less than a month I took a round trip flight from Phoenix to New York. But I was also deep into the Ketogenic way of eating. And years of paleo years prior to Keto. I was also vaccinated one time 4 months prior to my PE. Like you experienced, various doctors had various opinions as to why I clotted. And of course the public chimes in when I share my story.. many quite rudly. I am still on anticoagulants because According to National Blood Clot Alliance, once you clot you are automatically at risk to clot again in 10 years.. that is the case with 33%. Anyhow, my carnivore doctor stated that I may do better on a lower-carb diet vs any others out there. It's not easy to sift through all the data and make the best decision for ourselves moving forward.
Overall, I admire your continued research and kindness displayed throughout your journey you've chosen to share despite all the controversy. Blessings to you moving forward, Beth 🙏 ❤

My life purpose & passion for the past 13 years has been to reverse chronic disease which includes strokes, heart attacks, cancer and dementia among thousands of other conditions. Nothing degrades more lives, costs more money, reduces productivity more nor KILLS more people than chronic disease. It’s humanity’s BIGGEST problem and nothing else is even close. I am confident you had a stroke bc you are FILLED with visceral fat which is the NUMBER ONE cause of chronic disease and so the biggest killer of humans. Google: Stroke, Visceral Fat and than ask yourself after: “Why hasn’t a single one of all the doctors who treated me or are discussing me on line once mentioned Visceral Fat”? It’s because it is kept out of medical schools by Big Pharma so doctors literally dont know about it. Carnivores & Vegans are filled are often or even usually filled with it. It’s NOT just diet so just going carnivores or vegan is NOT enough. There is way way way way more to chronic disease and so visceral fat than just diet. An MRI reveals the invisible visceral fat you have in you. I DM’ed you to work with you for FREE to show you how much you have and why you had your stroke. I will donate $5k to charity if you are not filled with visceral fat. Please be a part of the solution to help promote awareness this deadly process in people almost no one knows about. Beth I just wanted to mention this as I've had a stroke as well. (Not diet related it was the stress of losing my mother) I found out that you need to take vitamin k2 along with your vitamin D3 so that you don't have calcium going to your organs, soft tissue and arteries. It may not be the cause of your stroke or mine but it certainly is helpful in preventing them plus the bonus is stronger bones since k2 helps usher calcium into bones and teeth. I hope you read this! With love from a long time supporter and fan! 🙂❤

the alternative is to eat natto. The Japanese eat natto for breakfast every day. It is an acquired taste, but after you get used to it, it is much easier than taking a supplement, which may or may not have been oxidized. Oxidized K2 is not that helpful, as I understand. So make sure your supplement is protected against oxidation.

And not one Dr blames the 💉🤔along with a plane ride. To each thier own. My mother 78yrs old was mainly plant-based, salads and fruits lots of veg and some tuna. She had gotten so hateful and paranoid i had to have my son drop off her food. After he moved it was back to me. So, after looking for brain health ( cbd and medical marijuana) i just changed her diet. More meat and eggs she has broccoli and these tiny ice cream cones. I didn't want her to realize i took everything away. She is SO much better it's amazing.
Side note on the 💉my daughter has cml a rare form of leukemia. Her cancer doctor said no don't get that. But as soon as it was mandated and everyone was being threatened with their jobs. He told her to get it, oh, it's fine..BS 🤬 thankfully she said no. She already takes one experimental drug. Don't get me wrong, I'm appreciative of the drug she's on. It's keeping her alive, but for all of us to be mandated to take a shot, not knowing who's going to react when everyone has different reactions to things. Sorry this was so long. You are a wonderful daughter to think outside the medical establishment and change your mothers diet. This is a powerful moment in both your life & your mothers life. Im proud of you!! 💙
I feel like Beth is either easily brain washed by doctors by saying her diet caused her stroke or she is in denial that the experimental 💉 caused her strokes. Either way she needs to do her reserach to see the truth that these EXPERIMENTAL 💉 caused her stroke just like they have caused strokes in so many world wide including children & young adults.
good doctors since this crazy push of these EXPERIMENTAL 💉 have been all of the n. et. adivsing people to avoid them. And, now for the last several years have been advising people who are sick by them to eat the Keto diet with intermittant fasting. Which you are doing this for your mother!! You listened to your gut instincts & used your prior education of keto/carnivore diet and remembering they are both healing diets.
I wish Beth would look up VAERS (this is the offical CDC 💉 injury reporting cite where over 2 MILLION US citizens have posted their injury from these Experimental 💉. The reason why there are are not more reports is the simple fact the CDC is doing everything in their power to prevent people from filing reports including telling hosptials to tell doctors/nurses NOT to report. YEP blantant massive corruption by CDC/Hosptial admin.
Beth also needs to wa..tch. "D...r...Fuell..mich grand jury day1" = SHOCKING exposing the lies and crimes against humanity for these EXPERIMENTAL 💉 WORTH everyones time to watch. Beth will then wake up and realize she is STILL being hoodwinked & bamboozled by her Doctors and Hospital about what caused her stroke and how to cure her body. SOOO many you tubers have had strokes including a Young 30 year old Italian man who traveled in a van with his wife and now live in a home in Italy. (cant remember their chan name). They too were told by the doctors it's "rare" stoke for him. which is a blantant LIE.

I have a congenital heart condition and come from a family that had clogged arteries. My labs are really good on ketovore so I won't change now. I do have vegetables a couple of times a week, but cannot handle seed oils and feel much better using just real grass fed butter when needed. Maybe it varies by the individual or blood type. I am definitely torn about diet. I have heart issues and family history of congenital heart issues and heart attacks. I tried a plant based diet because of the heart health benefits to it. It almost killed me, literally. After 2 years on the diet, eating well, supplementing what I needed, I was having severe physical and neurological issues. Anxiety, gut issues, hearth issues, sleep problems...entire body was shutting down and doctors had no answers as to why. Ended up in the ER 7 times in 1 year. I finally went full carnivore, 100% beef and within a week 90% of my symptoms were gone. Now 6 months later I can sleep, and am almost back to my normal state. I have tried to introduce beans, greens etc here and there and each time my body completely revolts. I do not know why, before I went plant based I could eat all of those foods. Once I went only those foods its almost like I developed a sickness to them or some autoimmune, I have no idea, not a Dr and when I have mentioned to Drs they tell me its not possible. It is, I am going through it. I even developed some adversion to vitamin D...If I take it I get muscle spasms, anxiety, heart rythm issues, its quite a severe reaction. Goodluck with your diet, hopeing what happened to me does not happen to you

Hi Beth, I was wondering if any doctors had any potential concerns that some of the clots might have stemmed from your recent hip replacement surgery? I may need a similar hip surgery soon, but have read and heard about blood clots becoming more of a prevalent issue after these types of surgeries for at least an increased percentage of patients. Did anybody you talked to mentioned this as a possible factor? Thx for the channel.

I’m sorry you are coming up on a hip replacement surgery, but it was life-saving for me. No, none of the doctors really mentioned that as a possible cause. It was quite a bit before the stroke so I don’t really think it had much to do with it, but who knows.

Thanks for the response might be worth at least doing some research on that. I'm still studying it myself. Just a quick question on the same subject. Since you're happy with your hip replacement results, which is the majority of what I hear from most folks thankfully, Would you mind sharing which type of replacement you used? Was it the titanium or ceramic material etc, & did they do the traditional approach through the backside/glute etc, or the newer direct anterior approach from the front? From everything I've seen so far I think I want the anterior approach which seems less invasive & faster recovery for most. Would love to hear any thoughts, pros or cons or what you've learned on that subject if you're ever willing to post a video or just respond In the comments. Thx again..

When we get studies head to head between strict veg vs. carnivores, I'll consider any other way of eating. So far, I feel like a kid again, and my laundry list of health issues are all gone. Even if I had a stroke, I'd attribute it to a former crummy lifestyle. We know eating fat doesn't raise LDL. So why on earth would I go back to something I was doing when some of my issues like high blood pressure began? Yep, I was a vegetarian then vegan for 6 years in my 20s on high bp medication! Good luck, though. We're all finding our own way, and I hope yours works for you.

One thing I would disagree with is the frail and weak. I've been plant based for a long time and I didn't lose any strength. What I did lose is lots of inflammation. I use to play hockey four times a week and all my injuries healed, no more knee braces or ankle braces, or back pain. Check out Nimai Delgado, he's a vegan body builder and looks great. For anyone that wants to see it, Dr. Baker is also saying now that the Carnivore Diet is not meant for everyone and not meant for everyone long-term, and he's the one who coined the term, The Carnivore Diet. He said he uses it as a "tool" for getting people healthy and he said, "use as needed." He says it in a podcast on his channel that was about 2 months ago with a Belgian psychologist, that has "Unbreakable" in title. The Belgian psychologist is young, in a grey sweatshirt on the thumbnail. The psychologist, very fit and healthy, 34, also went from strict carnivore to adding in fruit and honey to his diet. Dr. Baker says it toward the end of the video. I think it's a great video showing that Dr. Baker is not so dogmatic in his thinking like some of the other Carnivore doctors.

The diet that makes the most sense to me is based on personal genetics. What did your ancestors eat? If they were Chinese, African, Italian or Middle Eastern, for example, it was very different from the current American diet. Hawaiians and Native Americans have many health problems. When some returned to eating the same foods their ancestors did, all those problems vanished! Eskimos survived on the carnivore diet, eating fat and meat almost exclusively. Genetically their bodies could handle it.

I started carnivore a year ago and then switched to Keto (+ green vegetables form time to time) combined with meat, pork and chicken. During this year, everything improved and I even cured my anxiety (a leftover from covid in 2022). One thing I want to emphasize here, I had a lab work done every 3 months and one of them was the Prothrombin Time (PT) which measures coagulation in the blood. Very important and I did this test (for me to confirm I'm on the right track) and so I was. Definitely, we cannot blame the carnivore for the stroke since there are a lot of other contributing factors to it, aside from what the 4 doctors told you. Maybe you had your platelets and white blood cells high all this time and those have nothing to do with the kind of food you eat. They could be genetic. Well anyway, the most important thing here is not eating refined carbs, sugar and gluten and all is good.

I am so glad you were fortunate like me! We both got to have a health scare instead of something much worse. I am also happy your Whole Foods plant-based. Nice to have you with me!

Beth I started doing carnivore with you and than I tried the keto diet and up my fat intake and also ate a lot more red met. After learning about your stroke I was tested by my doctor and my cholesterol went from 210 to 249 in a little over a year. I don’t smoke or drink and exercise and try to do everything healthy. The only change for me was the cholesterol increase so it is back to vegetables ,fruit and chicken. I am so thankful for you. I guess some can get away with eating lots of fat and red meat but clearly you and I are not one of them. You are so kind and I love your videos.

Your brain needs cholesterol. It’s sugar that kills you

Dr. Anthony Chaffee has great videos on the cholesterol scam--it's actually documented that we were all lied to. My high cholesterol briefly scared me away from keto too, but now I'm back and carnivore. :)

Hi Miss Andy. It sounds like we are definitely cut from the same bolt of cloth! Lol! My cholesterol also went from the low 200s up to around 240. I am so happy you are following your doctor with regard to the cholesterol. When I used to be carnivore, I just believed influencers who cherry picked certain studies and tried to tell us that high saturated fat and high cholesterol does not matter. it really does matter and you are a smart woman to figure that out. God bless you and I wish you well and your health journey.

Please look more deeply into that. I used to follow Anthony Chafee and I do not believe those studies anymore. The Framingham heart disease steady covered about 15,000 people over three generations. No one with a cholesterol below 160 and an LDL below 80 had a heart attack. Not one person.

Hi Beth, carnivore here. You had a stroke and had to use the system that is anti carnivore. You made your decision within that system and it is totally understandable. Thank you for the video and I hope you do well in the future whatever path you choose!

Hats off to Dr. Michael Gregor for all of his dedication and hard work!! He is the very best of the best at researching all of the scientific data on food and health and giving the honest facts on all of his findings.

Thank you so much! I love Dr. Gregor, too! He’s an amazing researcher plus obviously just a very nice person. From all three of his best selling books, he doesn’t take any profits at all. Wow!

@@FiftyPlusBeauty You are welcome. I can tell a difference in your skin since you have changed your diet. It looks great!
Yes, I love Dr. Gregor too. He is an awesome researcher and it all started with his grandmother being sent home to die at age 65. She changed to a healthy diet and lifestyle and lived another 31 years. That says a lot about him not taking any profits from any of his books!
