@@hakaseshinonome7456 I am well aware of that. But funny thing is, they claim Solid State Scouter as being the only great OST from the japanese soundtrack, because it wasn't composed by Kikuchi. The rest of them are corny and annoying, according to the Falconer fans.
@@TheFailedOwl Well, I'm not an North-American, I grew up with Kikuchi's soundtrack, I listened to the entire Faulconer soundtrack and I've seen that nothing there matches the anime itself. I don't know if it's because I watched the anime with Kikuchi's soundtrack or if it's because Faulconer's soundtrack is really horrible.
I had no idea they had the solid state scouter ost in the japanese version of this game, why didn't they keep this soundtrack in the american version is beyond me. This was a very good game too.
It's probably because there wasn't enough exposure to Kikuchi's score to justify keeping it in the game for the western releases. The Orange Bricks allowed viewers to watch the TV show with the original score, but they were only a few seasons in when this game was released, and they weren't even a thing when Tenkaichi 1 and 2 were released. The Japanese score is in the Japanese version simply because the fans will recognize those iconic tracks.. they aren't something you'd typically hear in a fighting game, and both the North American and European English dubs had replacement scores. I don't think it has anything to do with licensing or anything of that nature as copies of the game in Latin America reportedly have the original Japanese music, and that's most likely due to the fact that the dubs of the show there have the original music.

I was talking about the English dub from Westwood that aired in Canada and the UK. As I said, people have said that there are copies of the game in Latin America that have the original music, so maybe there are some copies in Europe that have the original score too. I wonder if there is anyone that can confirm this. Come to think of it, pretty much all of the dubs of the anime outside of English use the original music.
@@josh07698 those copies are pirated, they mod their PS2 and they get the games in their japanese version or they got a patched version of the game, but all as backup discs, i say this because i'm Latin American as well, and people tend to explain lazily. In Latin America is most of a culture to have a modified PS2.

I still got this game on Playstation 2 version.
