Xenoverse is the opposite of good. Since when having tons of DLC is great? Sparking launched packed with a lot of great stuff already. Do 1 year of DLC and onto the next game...
@@FC-jd1ck To one's opinion, I respect. If this was Street Fighter on the discussion, I'd wholeheartedly agree with you. But Xenoverse has always delivered, no matter if it was paid or free dlc. Me personally, I'd much rather years of service til the title is fully fleshed out and no longer needing patch work vs a year's worth then on to the next one while leaving a lot on the table to complain about.
@@RecksBlackhere is another vote against that idea. Today’s gamers are TOO OBSESSED WITH DLC! At some point the sequel should be the goal! No more DLC. Specifically today. BEFORE DLC WAS PLANNED BEFORE RELEASE, and it was co-developed. Today many devs are making DLC from scratch. This means… THAT DLC TAKES YEARS AND THE SEQUEL EVEN MORE YEARS! I’m sorry internet, but when I finish a game and the first word is “I want DLC 2 years from now when everyone forgets the 1st month hype” all I can do is cringe.
@@josetomascamposrobledano4618 I can care less for DLCs, I've always been against them initially and still am today to some degree. But I won't knock it where it's worth while. There's very few games I concede DLCs for only because the life cycle has been extremely long, such as XV2 and American Truck Simulator, shit like that. I'll never come to an agreement that all games should have an abundance of DLCs, especially if the title isn't worthwhile of replayability. But as buyers, we need to learn to show patience and not rush these companies for new IPs, did y'all not learn from Cyberpunk? Yeah, it's been 7-8 years for XV, hell, 17 for Budokai, but so what, we still got it in Sparking ZERO and all I see is complaints still. If gamers want to have the attention span of fruit flies til the next IP, that's them. I can't put my faith in every Dev studio to produce quality titles like Ryu GA Gotoku predecessors. I rather certain titles with longevity to be fully fleshed out or give access to mods like Skyrim. I definitely rather Bandai to handle DLC like they do for XV than how Capcom handles DLC for Street Fighter, only to come out with a new collection game a year or 2 later. Granted, XV2 did it too, but only 8 years later, I can live with that. The way I see it, if XV3 should ever come out, everything in XV2 should be base. Cause I don't recall paying for any DLC characters in XV1 that wasn't base in XV2. But I agree, a lot of gamers are obsessed with DLC and sequels...
both have pros and cons but in terms of light and animation sz has it. it just looks so good and the first time in any dragon ball game that the power up animations look exact to the anime
Sparking Zero does its job for what it’s supposed to be, however, one grip I have with it is the lack of battle damaged costumes (which BT3 had). For example: - 3:18 Vegeta’s suit lacks the abdomen hole - 22:54 No shirtless Goku (Mid) And the examples are many throughout the other arcs.
Both games feels the same tbh since you’re just playing through Goku’s life story. But sparking zero just had a way better fighting mechanic and style scenes
@@jasonone8726 no, count every episode in which Gohan is the protagonist and do it with those of Goku, you will see that there are many more episodes of Gohan than of Goku
kakarot is focused to the story mode of dragon ball and sparking zero is focusing to introduce the previous versios of budokai tenkaichi with modern graphic gameplay and movement. but still love both of them :)
I can believe that Sparking Zero actually manage to make similar graphics to DBFZ. Like DBFZ still has better graphics, but the quantity that SZ had to work with vs DBFZ is astonishing.
I hope they make a Dragon Ball Super Kakarot game, with all the DBS stories but with sparking zero graphics on the landscape, The water, Kame house etc..
In Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, one of the big things that I always got annoyed with is because even when switching the characters voices to English, their mouths would still be moving as if they were speaking Japanese meaning it was always off time and didn’t even look like they were saying the same thing it sounded like they were saying. Another thing is even when they’re talking and sparking zero their mouth actually move as if they were talking like whenever they’re talking like their mouth still move to shape the correct words that they’re saying whereas in Kakarot their mouths would barely open at all, not to mention the special effects in sparking zero have completely out done the older game no doubt about it, also their actual character models have been improved like just taking a side-by-side look at the Goku from each games you can see his hair is now much more realistic, and the way that their hair moves around and everything is also much more realistic, also people who are talking about the full story scenes not being able to be seen in the newer game is because you can choose who you want to play the story with for example when you choose to play the story with Goku, it only lets you play or genuinely watch and sit through segments that actually have Goku involved in the main part of it if it’s something like a side quest where Vegeta versus somebody, for example, the only way you’re gonna see it is through the flash card type thing that it shows. Overall sparking zero it’s just a better game with overall better graphics, damage, physics, character models, and a lot more diversity in terms of how many things you’re allowed to do in story mode, not to mention it has online play, which is now way more realistic, compared to the gameplay of Xeno verse two.
Perfect game would of been DBZK cut scenes and DBSZ gameplay! I understand why they they did mostly stills cause we just had DBZK not long ago but all the fans know the story so much, at least they did full animation for what if and DBS since it's something we havn't seen in game yet
dragon ball sparking models look great but the fluidity in kakarot is much better. Also the best super saiyan goku animation scene to date is dragon ball burst limit. It actually had great voice acting. Still none of the animations actually show goku and frieza change in body size like they are supposed to cause goku and frieza look much bigger in that fight on the anime.
Kakarot more accurate to the original animation show compare to sparking zero, the character in kakarot drawing same like the original, sparking is not. Sparking not showing cutscene, then it just like look a comic.
DBZ Kakarot is more of a story game something similar to God of War and Sonic Frontiers it has the OG DBZ Style since it's only about DBZ Sparking Zero on the other hand is a fighting game with modern artwork style it's a DBS game
Kakarot was so close to being perfect. I hope one day we get a dbz game that starts from goku as a baby, and touches on every arc. 100% full voice overs. And some more in depth content like when goku left to the planet after frieza. We can see what happen and play thru it. Or even sone random events we can be superheros. Add broly and add omega shenron !! Please. Just a full fledged dbz game , also it would be cool to sorta let us explore and all like gta
The graphics are amazing, don't even go there! YT video compression doesn't do justice to how magnificent Kakarot's graphics are, a game from 2020. SZ has too much clutter overall with their "realistic" environments and, unfortunately, frame drops (because Unreal Engine).
Kakarot is for dbz fans what hogwarts legacy is for Harry Potter fans. Its just amazing to relive all the battles m as if we were reliving the show. Sparking zero is Ana amazing is probably better than fighterz and xenoverse 2 but they’re all different. These two are my favorite dbz games to date
I can understand that Spike Chunsoft isn't known much for making fighting games but really, they really had to pull slideshows like Naruto Storm 4 huh? I mean I get it, the company's good for visual-novel or mystery games but Slideshows are still beyond fans expectation
They Had to Copy the Worst Aspects of the Prior Raging and Budokai Series. They copied brain dead Galaxy Mode from Raging Blast 2 making Campaign almost irrelevant. And they Copied the Clunky fighting impact frames from Kakarot. Only thing this game has going for is the fact that it one two one with BT3 in mechanics... everything else is a total 🗑️
I played A lot of DBZ games over the years and I have to be Honest. Dragonball a Kakarot has a better story mode and the cut scenes perfectly mirror the Anime. Well I have played Sparking Zero is runs like they expect you to have already been caught up with all these Scenes. To old players we know how the story goes . But to any of the newcomers they would get the a good story unlike with Kakarot it captures the Anime so well in game form.
I was so disappointed with Sparking Zero. I used to play a lot of Jump Force and I guess people forgot about that game. Made by the same company. It’s a cell shaded reskin. With minimal effort. I was expecting a Raging Blast replacement. With a roster I’d only imagine coming for a PS5 and its capacity. We got 30 Goku and Vegetas. Man, super saiyan Bardock, Bulma, Tarbles, Vegeta Jr., King Vegeta, Bulla, Onio, Pilaf…I can go on forever. I know we are getting DLCs and there is more, but I’m not anticipating the roster being as impressive as I’d predicted 15 years ago. Like I’d be so disappointed for my future self if this is what they fly as passing. Who is this for? Dragonball fans or gamers?
And additional rant is can we bring back the mini games? Like the fusion one where if you messed up you’d mess your fusion up? I should have know it was gonna suck when I had to turn off my assists….on a fighting game. And for them to say that they were turning the difficulty down….what is going on? 😂 are we receding in coordination?
Con todo respeto pero las animaciones son muy malas no deja mostrar bien las transformaciones como el kakarot pero en gráfica y modo de combate esta muy bien
I honestly prefer a combat game like sp0, after you play the story in kakarot i Don’t think you have much left to do, you just fly around and fight with weirdos spawning somewhere, in sp0 i have 182 characters to play whenever i want, and i can use Vegito 🗿
@@tuanchu4759 you ve fusion in Kakarot too in game, and battle system of kakarot is better, much more DBZ like because you can fight with 3 caracter in same time
Not just you Kakarot colors are oversaturated and too bright. Sparkling Zero colors are less saturated, but they have powerpoint slides instead of actual cutscenes done to save time and money.
I played both games, both are great games, and each game has its pros and cons. Kakarot, for example, is an open world game with a lot of things to do, catching fish and monsters, collecting dragon balls, making machines, flying and exploring, but the enemies in the sky are annoying and too many sometimes I can't enjoy the quiet. As for sparking zero, amazing graphics and a more interesting story, there are different endings, sparking episodes and bright colors, but the menus and navigation in the episode are bad. I think the sparking series reached its peak with sparing zero, I hope the next drgaon ball game is a better version of dragon ball kakrot with an open world and a more interesting story with alternate endings. I don't know why, but my heart loves dragon ball kakrot more. Is it nostalgia or is the game special? I wouldn't blame anyone for saying that sparking zero is better.
Dbz kakarot has the original dragon ball z art style that akira toriyama used to draw, then sparking zero has the more modern artstyle that we saw in the beginning of db super super hero, then dragon ball daima has toriyama's final modern art style, both games face perfection, along with the new anime
That may be case, but its clear that Kakarot put a bit more effort in animating the scenes. Compare the Angry Kamehameha scenes in both. Say that Sparking Zero is better. Go on, can you? Its like this for a lot of the scenes. The scenes I enjoyed better in Sparking Zero were the extended scenes, where they took time to animate the scenes for the audience to enjoy. That's a service - yes they have a lot of scenes, but are you telling me you wouldnt have wanted to see extended scenes like father son galick gun scenes. Whenever they did put in that effort, it was better. Would have loved to see point blank kamehameha. Xenoverse has one. Dont get me wrong, sparking zero is superior in most areas, but Kakarot put in most effort into the cinematic animation. I do get Sparking Zero had more to animate, but i kept feeling a bit dissatisfied because I enjoyed their fully developed animated story slides and soundtrack more than the slideshows. Loved the energy graphics though regardless.

DBZ XNV : for the DLC's
Kakarot is a Story Driven game...
If it was about fighting mechanics as people say then FighterZ reigns supreme
Kakarot's story
Sparking Zero's combat
XV2's years of content & support
If only, but Bandai would never
Xenoverse is the opposite of good.
For example:
- 3:18 Vegeta’s suit lacks the abdomen hole
- 22:54 No shirtless Goku (Mid)
And the examples are many throughout the other arcs.
I think you’re just amazing at the game because I definitely noticed damaged costumes
@@jahzroc Not enough damaged costumes like BT3
@Jirenblack82 there is more battle damage in sparkling zero than btk3 . You don't have the game smdo you
@@danielcastaneda4975 Nah, clearly you never had either of the two. You’re new generation.
This absolutely makes me wanna replay kakarot
Both games feels the same tbh since you’re just playing through Goku’s life story. But sparking zero just had a way better fighting mechanic and style scenes
Kakarot was more Gohan than Goku.
@@jasonone8726thank you genius if in Z Goku there was almost never Gohan and he was more of a protagonist than him together with Vegeta
@@Maverickgnt03 Can't tell if you're sarcastic or not. 😂
@@jasonone8726 no, count every episode in which Gohan is the protagonist and do it with those of Goku, you will see that there are many more episodes of Gohan than of Goku
Kakarot graphics with Sparking effects 🔥
Use the Potara to fuse Kakarot and Sparking Zero and get the ultimate Dragon Ball’s game😂
kakarot is focused to the story mode of dragon ball and sparking zero is focusing to introduce the previous versios of budokai tenkaichi with modern graphic gameplay and movement. but still love both of them :)
Kakarot was a good game! Played it a lot! Sparking zero is sick also!
I wish they’d bring back vaporizing your opponent with your moves! Used to be so sick!!
I can believe that Sparking Zero actually manage to make similar graphics to DBFZ. Like DBFZ still has better graphics, but the quantity that SZ had to work with vs DBFZ is astonishing.
Sparking zeros lack of animations for the cutscenes is a terrible change. It almost seems lazy for the studio to go that route.
I hope they make a Dragon Ball Super Kakarot game, with all the DBS stories but with sparking zero graphics on the landscape,
The water, Kame house etc..
Sparking zero have way better graphics than karaoke on my pc it looks fucking flawless gorgeous
If you want to deep in Dragonball Z Story = Kakarot
If you want to fight only = Sparking zero
dragon ball sparking models look great but the fluidity in kakarot is much better. Also the best super saiyan goku animation scene to date is dragon ball burst limit. It actually had great voice acting. Still none of the animations actually show goku and frieza change in body size like they are supposed to cause goku and frieza look much bigger in that fight on the anime.
I will play Burst Limit and make some videos of it
I think we can combine the story of one and the battle system of the other. We would get the perfect game.
Unfortunately a 2024 game couldn't surpass a 2020 graphic wise.
exactly.
No
nah, just that Z kakarot does cut scenes better
🤣🤣🤣 straight cap
I feel like sparking zero’s style is more like the anime
Maybe they ran out of Storage or Budget thats why Sparking Zero is POWERPOINT presentation :))
Likely
I'm pretty sure Sparking Zero is just Kakarot reformatted and tweaked to be purely a fighting game.
Your so wrong lol
@@sharky408yee I DOES JUST LOOK LIKE THAT THO....SO NOT FAR OFF BRO CMON NOW LOL
why are SZ cutscenes frozen still images?
Because They Are Lazy Rats.. Who want you to pay for a Mobile like Cutscenes
dragon ball z kakarot is by far the best db game from a story telling perspective and sparking zero is best in terms of fighting
Kakarot has DBS stuff and even original DB too, plus a Bardock story DLC that goes beyond Z.
11:25 always that lag💀
Sparking Zero has better models and gameplay overall, but the graphics (lighting, scenarios and map design) are way better in Kakarot.
sparking zero did the gokus transformation dirty, cut scene should have been more epic than that. Nice graphics tho.
Like legacy of goku/buus fury in 3d
@@jpebrz ong!!!! Fuck i forgot
Boring, we've seen it a million times in these games already.
The graphics in kakarot aren't actually better the animations are just more cinematic because it's not a fighting game
The graphics are amazing, don't even go there! YT video compression doesn't do justice to how magnificent Kakarot's graphics are, a game from 2020. SZ has too much clutter overall with their "realistic" environments and, unfortunately, frame drops (because Unreal Engine).
kakarot have better graphics but in combat sparking zero. but in camera they both are same
Kakarot is for dbz fans what hogwarts legacy is for Harry Potter fans. Its just amazing to relive all the battles m as if we were reliving the show. Sparking zero is Ana amazing is probably better than fighterz and xenoverse 2 but they’re all different. These two are my favorite dbz games to date
Why Bother Adding a Campaign if You all were Going to Copy 7 Deadly Frames and Mobile game Like Cutscenes??
I can understand that Spike Chunsoft isn't known much for making fighting games but really, they really had to pull slideshows like Naruto Storm 4 huh?
I mean I get it, the company's good for visual-novel or mystery games but Slideshows are still beyond fans expectation
They’re both equally good but me personally i prefer sparking zero
Anybody that played kakarot knows that its much better then sparkling zero.
@@Maddymadd24 you must be lying to yourself.
@@lepene Nah, he speaks the truth. I played both and Kakarot takes the win anytime.
They really should just wish for a years supply of sense beans.
I like both but prefer sparking zero , because the combat is just better imo
I think a lot of things, including motion capture make sparking zero feel a little lifeless, as the motions/poses arent as intense
Kakarot better graphics
you are blind
I like the spirit bomb in kakarot more but overall sparkling zero takes the cake.
Mi problema con kakarot son sus efectos de sonido, visualmente es espectacular 😊
For me Dragon ball Z kakarot is better then sparking zero
Sparking Zero is a Mobile Game compared to Kakarot when it comes to its 7 deadly Frames
Kakarots fight scene's are good but sparking zero is just smoother (im a kakarot player)
Sparking Zero is the best in combat gameplay; Kakarot is the best at telling the story
Kararot looks pretty but the battle sucks
True
Eh, they are okayish once you get a hold of them. Either way, Kakarot is muuuuch more immersive.
Clearly, we peaked with dragon ball Z sagas on the xbox 😢
Pourquoi il n'y a pas les vrais musiques dans Sparking zéro ⁉️
I played A lot of DBZ games over the years and I have to be Honest.
Dragonball a Kakarot has a better story mode and the cut scenes perfectly mirror the Anime.
Well I have played Sparking Zero is runs like they expect you to have already been caught up with all these Scenes. To old players we know how the story goes . But to any of the newcomers they would get the a good story unlike with Kakarot it captures the Anime so well in game form.
Kakorot having better graphics is crazy
when i play on pc sparking zero looks 100 times better
Yes but the price is High I can effort😢@@Treyfox24
Will one has destructive environment and the other does not but overall I find sparkling zero more graphically appealing.
@@HairlessMonkeyKing w
Its more about lighting I see kakarot has "better lightning"
Verdade
I honestly prefer a combat game like sp0, after you play the story in kakarot i Don’t think you have much left to do, you just fly around and fight with weirdos spawning somewhere, in sp0 i have 182 characters to play whenever i want, and i can use Vegito 🗿
Kakarot looks better...
Transformation scene is fluid, etc.
Kakarot have the story, adventure, the univers of DB.
Sparking have... characters ?
sparking have combat system better, tranform and fusion in battle and YOUR STORY
combat dbz kakarot is very good@@tuanchu4759
@@tuanchu4759 you ve fusion in Kakarot too in game, and battle system of kakarot is better, much more DBZ like because you can fight with 3 caracter in same time
I like the facial expressions in Kakarot More
yeah kakorot wins on graphics and fluidity but gameplay was shambolic.
Prefiero el kakaroto..veo que mayormente en toda las escenas se ven mejor..hasta en las tomas d goku
Idk if it's just me, but dbzk is very hard to look at. The colors are a bit too bright for me. It looks a bit oversaturated.
Em parte de combat tenkaichi é está bem mais a frente combat do kakarot é uma pegada mais rpg
So in Sparking Zero there is no obliteration or dismemberment of the characters?
KAKAROT LOOKS BETTER
I would say that Kakarot is more accurate to anime.
Dragon ball é foda dms
si el kakarot hubiera tenido el sistema de combate de este nuevo juego, seria el dbz definitivo
I swear sparking zero looks like Kakarot but better
yep
Dbz kakarot has the original dragon ball z art style that akira toriyama used to draw, then sparking zero has the more modern artstyle that we saw in the beginning of db super super hero, then dragon ball daima has toriyama's final modern art style, both games face perfection, along with the new anime
Kakarot was made on unreal engine 4 and sparking zero was made on unreal engine 5
I did not find sparking zero good I liked kakarot more.
I loved dbz kakarot but god the soundtracks were awful.
