Education is a pillar of a developing society. Nalanda University was one of the oldest universities in the world and was burned by Mughal ruler Bakhtiyar Khiliji in 1193. He was an Afghanistani emperor who invaded India and captured multiple parts of India. The question is why did he burn a university that was doing great for society? I'm from Bihar, Patna and when I see the condition of bihar literally tears comes from my eyes. Destruction of Nalanda University is the big loss of bihar and will it still affecting for next generation. It was only because of that mad ruler. History will never forgive him.

And there were both hindu as well as bhuddist teachers in nalanda . It was never primarily buddist nor hindu University. And for your little brain there was not Caste system in ancient India everyone got free education as it funded by the kingdom.

Being a Buddhist, I don't blame our loss to any particular community. Any individual can not represent whole community. Nalanda Mahavihara was restored from previous two attack from non muslims. Buddha taught us doctrine of Metta or friendship. We Buddhists do metta to all Hindus, Muslims and Christians. All we need to respect each other's faith. It doesn't really bother we lost Nalanda Mahavihara but we could not yet establish such huge institution after Nalanda. We Buddhists are still have many problems of good education, poverty and political instability as we fighting for it. I guarantee we would be successful one day, soon you would see another glory of Nalanda in future. 🙏

@@ankittiwari28-8 for example in Finland's education system there is not exam every year like how we give here in schools , they only take a matric type exam after 10 years, moreover they focus on character building of students and uses different methods to teach different students because no one student is same also there every year teacher doesn't change, they believe a teacher should have a good and unbreakable bond with the students, and in Japan students themselves clean their classrooms there is no cleaning staff this ensures that students learn how to wrok in group. And you will find these similarities in the Vedic education system as well , even in ancient times there were no exams character was the report card of students, students bonded with teacher (guru shishya parampara) , students did their own chors and studied in the natural elements. Thus it was the best if it's time.
