The last Man whose death news sparked a huge protests within Indian Army Regiment which turned into revolution within the Army after they realized they have mistakenly attacked and destroyed Azad Hind Fauj led by Subhas Chandra Bose which came to fight against the Britishers to Liberate India from their clutches.
By this revolution which started in 1945, Britishers started to realize that it won't be possible to continue to control India for long by 1946. As a result later on it was literally amicably decided between British Rulers and Indian Leaders and thereafter the Power was transferred systematically transferred into the hands of the Indian Leaders then and subsequently Britishers left peacefully while leaving India safely for The Gandhi & Nehru to Celebrate India 's newly gotten FREEDOM.
The REAL HERO of the the Nation disappeared into the World of Silence leaving the People with a perception of himself being Not Alive....Though he lived discreetly completely away from the glare of the world and People.

The reason, USA could secure independence from the Brits was because of the help of the intelligence gathering from France. At the time, Indian revolutionaries had lot of bravery and skills but lacked Spy network and this wasted lot of time and efforts.

i think if india had got independence in 1857 it would have been different from this present india because in 1857 the war is mainly going on in few regions and even if they got independence the regions only get independent and as time flows india would have divided into multiple small countries

Maharaj Jung Bahadur Rana then (Prime Minister of Nepal) during India's Mutiny 1857-1858AD, he was the person to help British India to save their empire, During the Indian Mutiny of 1857-58 he sent a contingent of Gurkha soldiers to aid the British, thus establishing a tradition of Gurkha military service in the British army. You have not included this on your video, thus, you have presented Gorkha Soldiers as your own country's soldier which is clearly wrong.

Points to note are :
1. Rebellion was gradually turned into an opportunity by our own people towards self benefit rather than anti- British even if it meant colluding against our own brethren
2. The same religious fervour which brought in unity and initiated the rebellion was used by the British to create discord and extend their sway.
3. The rebellion was crushed because of treacherous , greedy and unruly insiders rather than British might.
But have we learnt any lessons even now.....????
If people follow opportunistic religious leaders rather than the teachings of religion itself, it is not surprising that our greatest strength of diversity and co-existence have mutated into animosity and power centres continue to exploit us.

The mutineers lost because of factors of factionalism and being more brutal to the Indian people than the Britishers.
Neither the Muslims nor the Hindus were willing to fully coopperate with each other and feared the other while under-estimating the Britishers.
According to not only Christian missionaries present but also oardinary Indians, the mutineers often lost support of a region after they did a reign of terror against the populace, like theft, murder, and enslaving. Many of the same Indians who initially supported the mutineers against the British switched their allegiance back to the British because the terror from the mutineers was so bad. For example, some Britishers who were once imprisened in a town were freed and re-armed by the local populace because their Sepoy overlords were "unbearable". The channel Timeline has a bunch of documentaries on the Sepoy Mutiney of 1857, and much of my sources come from them.

The biggest mistake in our past was the third battle of Panipat.
One side the marata Empire lost its armed forces and in the other side Durrani sultanate declined. Now there was no indigenous superpower to protect the Indian subcontinent.
The second reason is NAVY. Maratas were father of Indian Navy guarding the western coast and the chola Empire is the grandfather of Indian Navy invading south east asia.
But we failed to oppose the European influences on the Indian Ocean.
The third reason is downfall of Vijayanagara Empire.
The forth reason is lack of trade of gunpowder with china.
The fifth reason is invasion of marata Empire and Hyderabad on Mysore. If this had not happened, Madras presidency would be under Mysore long before 1857
