Jason had no training whatsoever, he pretty much grew up as a survivalist after his vengeful mother was decapitated, he was living on whatever he could hunt, which makes it pretty impressive considering that he grew up as strong as he is, coming back as an undead in Part 6 just made him even stronger, and I won't even mention Uber Jason from Part 10 where he turned into a nanobot infused cyborg, because it's implied that version of Jason survived reentry into a planets atmosphere, so Uber Jason is scarily strong

Although people do theorize that Pam used the book or unintentionally used it's powers, I however believe that Jason was human until Part 6 and there was nothing supernatural about him until his resurrection in Part 6, although I'm not exactly sure if the book had anything to do with how Jason came back in Part 6 since that was a lightning rod, Frankenstein style, and they never added the book to the lore until Part 9, there was that Carrie -Copy Tina in Part 7 that accidentally raised Jason out of the lake, but I doubt her powers came from the Necronomicon, Part 9 goes all out with Jason body swapping and only being able to be officially killed by a special dagger wielded by another Voorhees, he is then sent to Hell, but Freddy brings him back for FvJ so that he can use Jason as a scapegoat to get people thinking that Jason's murders are being caused by a returning Freddy since his powers are weakened until people remember him again, of course after Freddy gets his powers back he realizes he can't actually get Jason to stop stealing his kills, then Part 10 takes a bit of a turn, Jason is no longer an undead, somehow, and has been captured by the government for study since they now imply that his regeneration is genetic, of course he escapes and gets cryogenically frozen and dumb people in the future thaw him out thinking he's dead, you can guess what happens after that. I haven't even mentioned the game continuity where Pamela hints that Jason's real father probably wasn't even human at all, and that Elias (who was cut from Part 6's ending) was just someone they went to for protection, for context, Elias is Jason's father in the films and comics, but we don't know much about him other than the fact that he was a powerful and abusive man

I just realized something watching this video. There's a plausible reason for why Jason fights the way he does in MK, besides because "fighting game." We had always seen Jason fighting people who could never measure up to him or who were mortal by comparison, as well as people who just weren't fast enough to warrant him doing more than the usual teleport. Now that he is, this is basically Jason Full Power mode. He's going all in because his opponents are giving him an actual challenge.

i personally dont believe he gained the ability of teleportation until part 6, and there has been quite a few scenes of jason getting equally rivaled by camp counsellors. (keep in mind canonically he is basically average height/size) jason before his undead era was literally just a regular human. it has been a controversial topic on weather or not jason had regenerative powers whilst he was alive though, considering he suffered from many stab wounds or other hits to his body during part 2-4 which never seemed to affect him afterwards (keep in mind parts 2-4 took place all within a few days) other than that its a pretty cool theory. even undead jason has been somewhat rivalled at times.
Fun fact: during filming of the scene that Leatherface’s outro scene is based on, the actor, Gunnar Hansen, actually lost his grip and tossed the chainsaw in the air.
I'd imagine they used a rubber blade instead of an actual chain. So, there's still the machine being thrown in the air, but no one is going to have an arm chopped off.
One of the best details in this is that the Xenomorph (Alien) is actually Tarkatan (Barrakas species) and came from barraka, that's why it has those retractable arm blades as well as why it's a similar size to the predator and more humanoid in shape, it's chest burster fatalities also are specialized to opponents species in terms of the Xenomorph that comes out, like the predalien when ots done on a predator resembling the predalien in AvP2
Honestly, Jason has the best animations in MKX. Since he's more of a monster than a martial artist, he throws his weight with each punch and kick. He genuinely looks like a monster while he’s fighting, which makes his calm idle pose stand out so much more.
These are the best two people to do review of this. One that understands medical and the way the x-rays and fatalities compare to real life anatomy and the other that understands the fighting... I love it.

Xenomorphs are absolutely awesome for three reasons: 1. They have a pharyngeal jaw (a secondary jaw within the primary one, much like eels), 2. they're tail is like snake, and 3. they have an amazing amount of lore behind them (Who knows? THEY COULD BE REAL!)
Fun fact: Predators don't use there plasma casters that often, the predator's believe in a fair fight, you fight a sword with a sword, etc. they also use an honor/caste system, whilst the xenomorphs are more like ants/termites/bees
Fun fact in the original ending of Texas chainsaw massacre leatherface was suppose to mop around and make sad noises but it being in the middle of summer and filming for hours in nothing but a suit and mask covering his face Gunnar Hansen started freaking out and spinning the chainsaw out frustration it was interesting to hear that one of the most iconic endings of the most iconic horror movies happened because of that one hot summer day
It's hard to believe, but Predators actually do have a martial art. Their martial art specializes in the use of their wrist blades, combistick, and simple hand to hand fighting. Some Predators have been seen using untraditional or dishonorable fighting styles such as head butting, swordsmanship, and even biting with their mandibles.
You guys have to react to the other guest characters next. there's Kratos from God of War, Terminator, Joker, Spawn, Robocop, and Rambo. They're awesome.
I'd love to see these guys react to Heat Moves from the Yakuza series. They don't get as graphic as MK, but they can be just as hard to watch. For instance: there's one Heat move where you take a handful of nails, force them into a guy's mouth, then kick him in the jaw.
Jordan is right, Leatherface did accidentally hurt himself with his chainsaw. Near the end of the first movie Leatherface falls back and his chainsaw (somehow activated) cuts through a bit of his leg.
With that last scene talking about the combo PredAlien in the next MK, these 2 should do a react episode to the stealth/combat executions/finishers in the Aliens vs Predator game. There's a lot of different scenarios/concepts for damage and potential finishers in that all around.
I actually would suspect a lot of chainsaw injuries in ER. It's a pretty common tool. It's like with hammers, shears, siccors, kitchen knives, hammers. Like really...renovating, cooking and gardening can be pretty hazardous XD
Jason is by far the most terrifying guest character to ever join the MK games if you play you know how stupid the buffs and red screen is like sonicfox bullied people with this character
15 minutes in and it has felt like half an hour. NOT A NEGATIVE, let me be clear. The conversation they have, the questions and the crazy answers are just so entertaining and interesting that time just slowed down, I wanted to be in the moment for much longer, this was so much fun to watch!
@@PeterParkerwon Both the Alien and Predator franchises started as slasher flicks "with a twist!" Alien was set in a claustrophobic spaceship and the victims in Predator were the type of hypermasculine heroes that the eighties had taught us were invincible. The only horror icon in 11 is Terminator and they seem to have based him on Judgement Day, after he became an action hero.
Jason is a revenant zombie. He's a zombie brought back to life by the necronomicon. So he's technically a deadite, hence why he's basically indestructible, OP and doesn't really react to pain.
11:20, we see that in Prey. I think that's why thier wrist blades always come in pairs: so the can go UP the spine, from the base, remove the ribs, sever the clavicles and keep the skull intact.
17:49 If you play MKX and beat the tower as the alien, you can actually see different aliens that reproduced using Outworld races like the Tarkatans and the Shokan
video idea: I think Dr Jordan and Noah reacting to MKX character Xrays would be good content. Noah would appreciate the flurry of blows the likes of Liu Kang produce, and Dr Noah could compliment the anatomy and/or the realistic damage such moves would cause
12:35 no shit, the extreme amount of control needed for that, not to mention muscle strength needed to be able to swing it that fast in the first place is downright insane
*"Have you had any-"* _"We get a lot of chainsaw injuries."_ *"You get 'A LOT'?!"* Yeah, I gotta agree with that reaction. How and why, and I'm gonna make an assumption and ask why is there so much common sense lacking with chainsaw owners?!
If I recall correctly Jason has been canonically confirmed to be a powerful Deadite during an official crossover comic between Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm street and EvilDead.
9:08 sorry but I love avp too much to let this go. The predators didn’t make the aliens. They found the alien species when they were going through the universe looking for worthy prey. They found the aliens spreading and decided to hunt them. Finding them extremely strong. They sometimes took a queen hostage to make eggs that they hatched on random species like in that one AvP movie with the pyramid. So they did breed xenomorphs. But they didn’t make them (although humans did make a species of xenomorph that fought against the OG xenomorphs)
i think the main reason i really liked jason's moves and fatalities is due to them being fairly realistic and smooth, combined with how jason moves and uses actual moves either common or rare in fighting, along with how realistic jason's body is, in general. They keep it to human standards and to human limits, but still kept that feeling that jason is still unreal and is stronger then pretty much everperson an most animals. In my opinion, jason is a realistic but still story like character so a perfect 4.5/5 rating from me! Then again i'm just some guy on the internet, don't know much about fighting or creating games in general. 👍
Nah, he has one, the reason he got two in MK9 was due to animation, apparently this is a problem the dev team had with Drahmin as well (a character with a club on one hand), because the weapon is on that one hand and not flipped on both hands makes animating it an annoying task when the character is facing in different directions, although I imagine this is just something that annoyed them with the technology they had back then, they probably don't have an issue with it now. I figure two-glove Freddy was just easier to animate. But we do get one-glove Freddy in MKX Mobile, they had to alter his X-Ray though
When I was in the hospital for a pinched nerve in my back there was a guy who was rushed in just covered in blood and I didn't see anything but when they turned him around his face was destroyed and his hand you could see was just limp, swollen and bloody from a "attack" but apparently the guy was beaten with a roofing hammer in a bar fight but he was alive and actually trying to walk with them (obviously limping and looking pretty weak at that point so I'd assume adrenaline was wearing off at that point)
Welp guess I gotta say it again. Dr. Jordan, and either Gemma or Noah would make a great team up for the Mad Max game from 2015 (I think they’d both have a few things to say about the limb breaking counter).
Horror movies are the best though. This was fun!

i need to find out the name of that squeaking sound effect
We really need Sword Experts and Martial Artists reacting to Soul Calibur 6. Some great choreography and moves in the cast
This sounds so awesome
Do it Gamology
I'd love to see these two react to Def Jam Fight for NY.
A lot of unique Martial Arts styles in that game.
I 2nd That!!!!
7:46 Whoever the editor was for this episode thanks for the guts reference
I was looking for this comment 😄
THIS is an interesting combo of people to give opinions. love it guys keep it coming!
Also imagine a chainsaw that could take all that abuse (and dish it out) and still function flawlessly
Fun fact: Predators don't use there plasma casters that often, the predator's believe in a fair fight, you fight a sword with a sword, etc. they also use an honor/caste system, whilst the xenomorphs are more like ants/termites/bees
They also don't kill women and children
@@tashadent150 I mean yeah
"I think Freddy Kruger only had one glove in real life."
He knows something.
Interesting trivia: the developers of MK moved some of the organs around to make the fatalities look more visceral
“ I think Freddy only had one glove in real life “
Holy shit Freddy Krueger is in the real!?!?!
Fun fact in the original ending of Texas chainsaw massacre leatherface was suppose to mop around and make sad noises but it being in the middle of summer and filming for hours in nothing but a suit and mask covering his face Gunnar Hansen started freaking out and spinning the chainsaw out frustration it was interesting to hear that one of the most iconic endings of the most iconic horror movies happened because of that one hot summer day
Why did I just see this now? These two are like one of my major crushes and seeing them talking about horror movie characters in MK is just... ✨
Whenever jordan Wagner is on the channel it gets 200 percent better
I love how he clapped and then Cassie cage untie the weapon case at the same time. 😂😂😂 4:10
Dude this was a great montage with the special characters, thx for showing and breaking down these fatalities and injuries😎
Or when a guy gets dropped onto kiryus knee and gets they're tailbone broken
Jordan is right, Leatherface did accidentally hurt himself with his chainsaw. Near the end of the first movie Leatherface falls back and his chainsaw (somehow activated) cuts through a bit of his leg.
Cassie yelling while getting chopped by Jason's machete was so ludacris
GOD I love these people, they are so entertaining to watch.
best people to pick for these videos! Super cool seeing them learning from each other
This was a very interesting combo. Both professional but having fun, good lads ❤
With that last scene talking about the combo PredAlien in the next MK, these 2 should do a react episode to the stealth/combat executions/finishers in the Aliens vs Predator game. There's a lot of different scenarios/concepts for damage and potential finishers in that all around.
Should have Mister ER Doctor man react to the various heat moves throughtout the Yakuza series :D
I actually would suspect a lot of chainsaw injuries in ER. It's a pretty common tool. It's like with hammers, shears, siccors, kitchen knives, hammers. Like really...renovating, cooking and gardening can be pretty hazardous XD
As a student taking Anatomy and Physiology, these Gamology videos involving ER Doctor Jordan are a surprisingly good review.
Great Video! *Noah and Jordan are back again and they are still amazing!*
10:44 you guys actually did accurately predict that ermac would be in MK1/MK12 though its sad he's DLC and not base roster 🧙♂🧙♂
I love these 2 discussing and reacting, I am dying to see more of them both!
Jason is by far the most terrifying guest character to ever join the MK games if you play you know how stupid the buffs and red screen is like sonicfox bullied people with this character
When that one martial arts friend meets that one ER Doctor friend
Fun fact: Predator's spine rip in the first movie was the inspiration for Subzero's fatality in MK 1
The Fatality with the Alien Queen is a reference from Aliens, where they did the same thing to Bishop!
15 minutes in and it has felt like half an hour. NOT A NEGATIVE, let me be clear. The conversation they have, the questions and the crazy answers are just so entertaining and interesting that time just slowed down, I wanted to be in the moment for much longer, this was so much fun to watch!
Noah I missed you, much love my man hope everythings good 💕
This was a nice combination.
Please, keep doing this kind of commenters pairing in the future.
It’s a shame 11 isn’t part of this but it was still fun
11 doesn’t have horror movie characters iirc
I think the horror movie characters in mk10 are dlc
@@venomark7883 Alien and Predator aren’t horror characters so I thought there might be a chance
@@Gr8PowerfulOz alien is sci fi horror. predator similiar, but not quite
Fun fact: my sister is currently learning about human physiology right now.
Pog
Congrats to ur sister! 🥳🥳🥳
They predicted that Ermac was going to be in Mortal Kombat 1
I want so badly for a doctor and a martial artist to react to batman telltale fighting!
I would love for Jordan to help work on the next mk game and give some sort of idea to the designers of how the anatomy should look.
they predicted ermac in mk12 🙏
Jason is a revenant zombie. He's a zombie brought back to life by the necronomicon. So he's technically a deadite, hence why he's basically indestructible, OP and doesn't really react to pain.
I love the image of some mountain village in China where they train in chainsaw combat 😆
I would more picture a swamp in southern U.S. Florida man the martial art master.
These commentator matchups are great...the mix and match of knowledge bases are awesome and fun.
8:38 when I was watching it on my first game with Jason, I was so hyped to see his face.
They should be put Mike as the next Mortal Kombat game and he'd be op because he knows the most vital places to hit.
Yes! These two together again! Fuck yeah! Now have both of em recreate the moves O.o
So what a learned was Jason is FLAWLESS
video idea: I think Dr Jordan and Noah reacting to MKX character Xrays would be good content. Noah would appreciate the flurry of blows the likes of Liu Kang produce, and Dr Noah could compliment the anatomy and/or the realistic damage such moves would cause
Jordan: You can see his tongue moving.
Kinda wish they showed the leatherface brutality where he keeps hitting the opponent with the hammer, that woulda been interesting
12:35 no shit, the extreme amount of control needed for that, not to mention muscle strength needed to be able to swing it that fast in the first place is downright insane
The combination between Predator and Aliens actualy exist, they are called "Predaliens"
Yep. Second AVP movie
I loved that little berserk reference of guts
*"Have you had any-"*
_"We get a lot of chainsaw injuries."_
*"You get 'A LOT'?!"*
Yeah, I gotta agree with that reaction.
And now Noah is in MK1 🎉
The Crossover we needed
7:50 I love the berserk reference nice to see it’s a bigger fandom than I thought
It kinda says something about the most recent predator movie that they didn't even know there was a remake.
The flash of the Guts picture was funny
i think the main reason i really liked jason's moves and fatalities is due to them being fairly realistic and smooth, combined with how jason moves and uses actual moves either common or rare in fighting, along with how realistic jason's body is, in general. 👍
Erma’s confirmed for MK12 is crazy 😭
Biggest takeaway is Freddy apparently only has one glove. Could’ve sworn he always had two
Nah, he has one, the reason he got two in MK9 was due to animation, apparently this is a problem the dev team had with Drahmin as well (a character with a club on one hand), because the weapon is on that one hand and not flipped on both hands makes animating it an annoying task when the character is facing in different directions, although I imagine this is just something that annoyed them with the technology they had back then, they probably don't have an issue with it now.
All time favorite games just brings me back growing up all ways used to go to the bowling alley to play all the game 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Noahs Back! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Kudos to adding the anime head of Guts from Berserk in the Jason Vorhees fatality.
There made a Halloween video.... In november!
Great Video! Awesome Characters!
What's the Predator doing right here 9:34
In comics Jason Vorhees is strong enough to pull trees off the roots and throw them, those tall pine trees around 100ft or taller
