I had, in my youth, a single shot 1911 styled spring action crossman air pistol that shot either BBs or darts. Both came with the set.It had a small barrel/chamber assembly at its tip that tilted up for loading. To cock it you pulled back on the slide above the handle one time and you were ready for target practice. Hours of enjoyment.
Fair point, Umarex made them overseas years ago, and another company in England that I have a feeling this is just a new incarnation of. So let's call it a relaunch!
yeah hear is a picture from the 70's Crosman gun and darts. www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiYo5DW1-jTAhVQzGMKHQvqAO0QjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pyramydair.com%2Fblog%2F2006%2F11%2Fmarksman-1010-part-3-an-air-pistol-that-has-endured%2F&psig=AFQjCNFkp9mL2oAVNLHQTeDWAnCmgGKsWQ&ust=1494621103734344
Hi guys, I have the 6 inch pellet version, and in my back yard, I can sit down and hit a spinner target over and over again from distances over 15 yards with this gun. I think it's mighty accurate. The higher FPS work for the trayectory at greater ranges. Amazing airgun.
I have one question and that is if i buy a dan wesson 6 inch bb version and buy pellet shells differently so can i fire pellet with the bb version of 6 inch
yes the new Remington Model 1875 dual ammo co2. 177 cal. is new and will not be out on the market for sale until June this year and Pyramyd Air guns and airgun Depot will be selling them for about $124.00.. and they too will be able to fire the darts so that's great. but you can Google new Remington CO2 or TH-cam it will show you the gun show and you will see the Remington it's coming out it looks great with a nickel finish and ivory grips.. hope that info helps guys
Can you please clarify which model Wesson can shoot all 3, bb's, ,pellets, and darts? The descriptions on Amazon are not clear at all.looks like any model that uses that brass looking holder can shoot all 3? Also where can I buy the darts? Looking for the best gun for all 3 probably in the 2&1\2 inch. Thanks Pete
We recommend that you remove it at the end of the shooting session. It can be left in for a day or two, but it tends to get forgotten and then you can have problems.
You can, though they will go at much faster speeds so you'll want to back up from a dart board for fear of burying the dart. Also note that over time using the darts in a rifled barrel may damage the rifling.
Are the darts compatible with the "old" Dan Wesson 357 BB's? If the darts were not compatible with the 357 with the original series casings, could I change the cartridges to opt for those of the 715 compatible with darts? Are the shells of the 715 compatible with the darts, which are in turn compatible with the D. W 357 BB's? Thank you
Why are the darts so weak? I had a pellet gun as a kid (maybe 20 years ago) and if I shot my dart board from about 50 feet away it would lodge itself too deep to retreive without digging it out. I used to shoot it at wood and it would go half way in.
Shouldn't you be processing my order instead of playing darts?Ha ha ha! Just kidding ya. Really, great job guys. I love AirgunDepot and the videos. I really think that you are having fun. Keep up the good work and you actually have me thinking about trying some airgun darts... never thought about it before. One thing, get Air Arms pellets to sell, I have a few airguns that like them and I would like to make pellet orders from one place, no two. Thanks, Brett
Nothing that we're familiar with in .22 cal. CO2 is just too low power to move much more than .177 cal, especially as with CO2 revolvers a lot of the air escapes around the cartridge. The Crosman 2240 would be the best example of a .22 cal CO2 pistol with decent power. But it's not a revolver :-(
hi guys great show this is Emmett, a new subscriber and I have a question about the darts I love them,. and my question is. can I use these darts in my 1875 Remington New Model Army Colt CO2..177 cal or for that matter any of the old western pellet guns or dual ammo Western guns.. that fire both pellets and babies.. thanks guys and I will be waiting on your response signed Emmett.U.S.M.C
The key is to look at the cartridge. As long as they have the removable grommet at the back you're good. If the top screws off the cartridge, then it won't work (unless you drill it out). Hope this helps. Haven't seen the cartridge on the new Remington 1875 yet so not sure on that one.
Hi there Emmett, i have tried to find a video of the army colt that you are referring to, but i can only find it in airsoft(6mm) version. Maybe you can help me out with a link to a video or something. Have a nice day.
Anyone over 50 in the UK will remember the Gat air pistol which was a spring powered jump out barrel design and came with a tin of .177 pellets, darts and some corks which could all be fired by it back in the 1970’s.
Nigel Hynes yes I do remember those,I had one but it was hard work pushing the barrel down into the gun every time you wanted to fire it. It wasn’t very accurate because the barrel wouldn’t come out very straight on mine but I did get it second hand and it was old when I had it given to me. Good fun at the time though.👍
Hey I like the 2.5 inch better tge way it looks but how bad is it for a dart aiming. I'm going to have a baby sex reveal in a few and would like it for balloons thanks
Wouldn't it damage the rifled barrel barrel??

Great video. Is it OK for darts with à smooth bore bb version of the dan wesson??
I use this as my pdw with the Crosman Fast Flights Pellets it's a Dangerous combo.
I used to fire these in my old crosman BB pellet Dart gun. So not so new but very cool that they brought em back.

Right you are, 15 yards is very doable, especially with the 6". The Snub nose might be a little looser as the velocity will be lower.
I like that fact you can shoot darts. That makes them user friendly and you better watch out, I suck at dart.

I like that you keep us informed on the new and up coming products. Now I just have to choose what gun?? Thanks again.
no problem Dean, glad you like our videos

Hi nice review how much time we can leave co2 cylinder in the revolver
We recommend that you remove it at the end of the shooting session. It can be left in for a day or two, but it tends to get forgotten and then you can have problems.
Can the 715 accommodate the Prometheus pellets?
We can't see any reason why they wouldn't.
Can you use these darts in a breakbarrel rifle, like the Crosman Fury NP or Hatsan 95?
You can, though they will go at much faster speeds so you'll want to back up from a dart board for fear of burying the dart. Also note that over time using the darts in a rifled barrel may damage the rifling.

Will these fit in any pellet revolver with the new shells like a crosman snr357
I love that gun

Great idea on the Air Arms pellets. We've been meaning to add them so we're actually going to dig into it right away. Thanks for the suggestion!
Is there a .22 CO2 revolver?

That is awesome 👍
_Only in America can we play darts with a pistol, to that I say: FUCK yeah!_

the Dan Wesson’s are all OEM by WinGun. I don’t believe asg manufactures anything beside rebranding albeit they release great products
where is Don Vito's cousin? I love that guy :-)
RIP Vincent Margera. Cameron will rotate back in next week!
