I feel like the Warhammer universe truly comes to shine when different races come together like this. Love this format.
This and faction war are hands down the two best tournament formats.
I love the fixed armies tournaments too. Although is probably not balanced

@@turinRTS is there any chance you’d consider fully opening the team choice options I think a lot of fans would really enjoy the diversity and new strategys. This is my favorite game mode and I love the content man. :) maybe a vote on it somewhere, see what the audience thinks?
2v2 is so much fun to watch. It's great how the mediocre or bad 1v1 factions are actually good with appropriate supporting factions.
Loving these 2v2 tourneys! Cant wait to see how they develop, and hopefully we see some multiplayer tweaks in April!
Soooo I'm just watching this now, and realizing there's only been 2 tourneys (or at least 2 videos on Turin's chanel). Do you know why it didn't stick? I really like it as well

You could consider setting up a virtual LAN connection with something like Hamachi. In theory it should work like a DIY dedicated server It is the go-to solution for games that need LAN connection to play, because the servers were shut down or simply they only had local multiplayer.
This format is AWESOME. So much more fun to watch than 1v1.
Absolutely love this format.
The greater numbers and all the interesting combo's that are possible and not fully explored yet.
One thing I've noticed and might be something to fix for next time is that all of the pre-final matches of both this and the previous tournament are cast from the winner's perspective.
It makes sense logistically but it will start spoiling the results of matches if this remains the case.
Need to see Ogre Mercs with Lizardmen. Greasus and Nakai for 20% ward blob with butcher and res crystal healing with sky strider and shredder with saurus to buffer.
I love watching the 2v2 domination matches it adds a level of excitement. Plus a whole new batch of strategies. That wouldn't normally be viable in a 1v1 domination match. Also like said in the video some of the factions like Nurgal are not normally very good. Although in a 2v2 setting they are amazing. It definitely makes for some new and interesting types of strategies and game play.

Great stuff again. I think this might be my new favorite tournament format. Still, I'd really prefer to see the Vampires and the Tomb Kings in different alliances instead, if you are going to keep tweaking things.
This is by far the best format you have ever done please keep it going. Would love to see a WE HE combo

The fact Markus Wulfhart had Nakai and The Shredder of Lustria on him and didnt take any damage for like 2 minutes is wack. CA really need to improve how single entities fight one another, specially when trying to hit footlords that keep getting knocked over every attack and never take damage.
2v2 is hands down my favorite format.
Skulls for the skull throne. Likes and subs for the algorithm gods.

I wouldn't mind watching a Nurgle Skaven combo... Also love the 2v2 tourneys better then most of the other tourneys, TableTop Tourneys I think are the only one I like better. But keep up the good work.

Loved that Ghorst build with Tomb Kings support, it played so well to each factions focuses and Ghorst may be my favorite VC lord, loved seeing him in some high tier play.

It definitely is nice to see things like the Shredder performing so well at last.
Would love to see a non lore friendly 2v2 also. Imagine the wild teams like tomb kings and norsca, wood elves and khorne, empire and vampires, and many more. Would be an awesome tournament.
Domination mode has been in 40k video games since dawn of war. It’s just called victory point instead. If anyone is curious just check out Indrid Casts he casts replays of Dawn of War 2 elite mod.

I would've loved for you to cast these with the mod on! We could've seen exactly how much was healed and the army values on the battlefield.

Im starting to think i might be a villain, cause i always find myself rooting for the undead. I love watching tomb kings, vampirates and counts as well.
Idk if it makes sense having the dark elves with the other elves lol but then again I am not super familiar with with warhammer fantasy lore. At least in game I don't think I have ever been allies with the dark elves while playing a faction of order. This has to be my favorite thing ever, seeing how the factions synergize is so cool. I really think a high elves and wood elves combo would have been so good.

Also. Brettonia are as likely to Hire ogre mercenaries as chaos. Or even less so.
I like seeing these bring back your interest in WH3, it's been looking bleak since it feels like half your videos are AEO or COH lately! Big sad, we want you casting only total war forever 🤣
Lowkey though, is it worth having separate channels if you end up doing only like 30% WH soon? I wish youtube allowed categories on the videos page of your channel for this purpose - you could just toggle total war on and off etc etc. As of late, it's taken alot of eye training to determine if a thumbnail is AoE or TW

hey turin LOVE the 2v2 tournaments! next time could we see enemy's team up to mix up the pool? it would be interesting to see say green skins and dwarfs have to team up against chaos and the empire!
That actually won't be that interesting and really hard to watch, as you would have chaos on both sides, or undead on both sides.
@@cl1cka ive always been a fan of mirror matches in any case as a true test of skill and besides its not like that cant happen in this format it could easily be 4 chaos or undead factions fighting

Ogres just don’t care about where the money comes. They will follow who pays them and feeds them well. They are the True Neutral faction of warhammer who will even ally with chaos if the pay and food is right. So I think ogres should be able to be in the same team as warriors (not daemons). Ogres are the only race that accept ogres who became chaos ogres. Like there are cases where chaos ogres would sometimes return to their tribe and talk about their stories and other ogres would just accept them without scorn.

If you want to split up the undead. you can make another group called, the pyramid builders. tomb Kings and lizard men.

I think a noob tournament with these contestants acting as coaches would be pretty cool to watch. Maby put in one noob without a coach for contrast
After watching a bunch of stuff. I think empire units need a little buffing. They have really been power crept super hard.

They can ally with Bretonnia, High Elves, and Wood Elves (Or Double LM)
