I really appreciate the video my friend. Got a 580d leaking like nobody's business.

I installed the fuel tank on my 580CK and put the return line back together with the old rubber gaskets. I hope it doesn't leak. Glad to know that fittings are available if needed. I was thinking that if the return line gave me any trouble whatsoever, I'd try to just use brass compression fittings and copper tubing.
I like the time-lapse sequence you used at the beginning.
The main fuel delivery valve (tank discharge to filters) was plugged up on mine. It is a needle valve with a "T'" handle. It had the same rubber gasket-style fittings. I guess they were good when easy to find but, like I say, if they give me any trouble I'm going to modernize them all.

Using copper fittings on the injectors may prove difficult it's kinda a weird tee, not sure where to get a brass one or I would have upgraded on mine if you find them drop me the part numbers did like to have some spares on hand just in case

I replaced the stripped aluminum garbage ones on my 850B with brass Tees JD part# 79606 they fit perfect on case pencil injectors, I got brass compression nuts for toilet supply lines from the hardware store just had to open the hole a fuzz with a unibit, and they drop right over the injector, new grommets and no more leaks. I also cut new hardlines inbetween the tees from stainless brake line. After all that screwing around I seen JohnDeere also has brass ones with regular hose barbs that you can just use rubber lines inbetween the injectors and to the tank return. Anyways, I enjoy the 450 and 580 videos! Old case equipment kicks ass and I’m glad some guys aren’t afraid of the work it takes to keep the old iron working

Thanks for the part number if I run into issues with it again I'll switch to brass. Glad your liking the videos 👍

So I'm having problems getting the 'T' back on the injector with the new seal. I'm not using the Case part number you indicated but I did order them from a company called Elmers that sell lots of seals. I believe they are the correct type. I absolutely can't get them over the adjusting nuts on the top of the injector. I can't even get them on the injector after removing the adjusting nuts. Perhaps the seals are just a bit too thick. I'm out of ideas. The old seals weren't easy getting off but with a some gentle prying they did pop over the adjusting nuts. One of the seals was still in good shape. It appears to be the same wall thickness as the new seals. Thankfully I haven't damaged any threads yet.

Be careful not to cross thread like I did. Can't be sure what you're up against without being there but if it doesn't feel right it's probably not. On the lines between the injectors you can use a pick or something to push the grommets into the nuts and expose the threads other than that you may have the wrong parts... It's hard to see but sometimes a few thousandths makes a big difference. Best of luck keep that old iron rolling!

I just picked up a couple of the fuel sleeves at the local CaseIH dealer for my 580D. I figured I'd get sticker shock but alas 2 pieces only cost me $2.68 Even the parts guy couldn't believe they were that cheap.

Do it 100 times you'll always have the wrong grommets.
