good looking setup man, she hooking and booking. probably goes without saying, but just be extra careful if you ever get caught in the rain on those tires
So glad I found you man... insanely good sounding 5.0 and I love the shifts! I was always scared about getting a Manual GT cause of the transmission but you're redlining that thing and it likes it!
Honestly the tire pressure that will work best has a lot to do with your suspension setup. On my foxbody i drove around at 35 psi and it ran the best at the track on 28 psi. My friends 3v worked best at 38 driving and 33 racing.
You would want a front skinny when running bias ply rear. If your alignment was good before switching wheels it was the same after .. the reason its swaying is because that’s how bias ply tires to especially when you are not running a front skinny
I know it’s a little late but I’d run the tire about 20-25psi and drop it to 18 when you race and if you don’t hook decrees the psi by one till you find your sweet spot the last thing you wanna do it over inflate bias plys and ruin the center of your tire
Yo bro just a heads up with that soft of a sidewall the car will still sway left and right a good bit but nothing too bad. Missed your vids bro, i started watching right when you stopped posting lmao
I like the drag setup 6speed! The lowering springs, coupled with the ET Streets give the car the perfect stance in the rear. Any plans to add the matching skinnies up front? I ran those tires on my 2013 GT and loved them. I drove on the street with them at 22 psi all the time and dropped to 17-18 psi at the track. I put about 4K miles on them and still hadn’t hit the wear bars, but I didn’t do long burnouts on them either (no need to), only quick hops to dust them off. Looking forward to seeing some footage of you snatchin’ on the competition down there in Mexico. LOL!
@@Real6speed awesome! Yea man its just a matter of time. I mean I'll dump it on the street but on a prepped track I haven't tried dumping it yet... but soon lol

I have a couple of quick questions for you 6speed. 1. Are you still on the stock clutch? If so, how many miles so far? 2. Did you upgrade your half shafts when you broke one a while back?
@@maxshaikhh99 bias ply are better for manual car. They wrinkle more absorbing some of the driveline shock and then spring back returning the energy to the acceleration.
Hey bro, have you tested out the factory launch control on your MT Streets? If so, what launch rpm and clutch release method have you found works best? Thanks
They are fine. I put 700 rwhp through my 2016 for a year and a half. I blew 3rd gear shift fork when I put a WOT box and tried a no lift shift with someone else's starter settings. The ignition cut was too short and I got locked out. If it weren't for that, the trans was holding up fine. I'm at 900 hp now though, and decided to do an autoswap for a number of reasons.
with stock height, I believe you can go up to 315 or maybe a little wider, but i could be wrong. But you can definitely go wide, things really start getting tricky the lower the car is.
