I saw Caleb doing a repair on a Gibson here in September and decided to go back to his first repair. ANd WOW< he has come a very long way in 4 months. He has a real natural touch and gift with his hands and he learns very quickly. I think if he sticks with it he will become a premier craftsman and guitar repair master in no time. Very proud of you Caleb for all your dedication and hard work!!! Working on guitars is somewhat of a lost art as not many guys or gals decide to take up an honest trade. Also, there is an art to this trade and you seem to have that gift of being able to SEE what something will look like in three dimensions. Can't wait to see you on your 1-year anniversary project. Keep at it Son!!!!

Caleb, one of the first things I noticed was that you don't appear to be afraid to tackle a new problem that you've never dealt with before. That's the most important lesson to learn; that you'll never stop learning how to do something you've never done before. Ask Jerry when that last time he learned something new. I'll bet it was today, and the day before, and the day before that. He'll probably also tell you that he still may not know how to do some things, but knows plenty of ways not to do them right. Learn from your mistakes, and more importantly, learn from the mistakes of others because you'll never live long enough to make all of them yourself. Great job!
