Moss Bank House - test-pitting day

Saturday 1st December 2012. Halliwell Local History Society, Bolton Archaeology and Egyptology Society and Bolton Libraries and Museums Service join together to dig test pits at Moss Bank Park in Bolton with Centre for Applied Archaeology at the University of Salford. The aim is to find evidence of the remains of Moss Bank House, ahead of a full scale community project with Dig Greater Manchester in March 2013.
