Must be the time of year - my tanks are breeding things as well - tons of eggs and some little tiny fish too - successful grew out 3 corys - that was super exciting - think I got some mystery snails and God knows what else LOL - so fun!! Can't wait to see the frogs!!

I need help. I am thinking of switching my African clawed frog bare bottom tank to sand. The problem is, I don’t know if my sponge filter would suck up the sand? Also, would it be hard to maintain, and would my clawed frog stir up the sand when he swims. And with cleaning, would a gravel vacuum suck the sand up, how would I clean the tank. Thanks!
Definitely gonna want to clean out the m coke and mentos from that tank 😂! Maybe use both. 2.5 gallon tanks for the tadpoles ( if you get more??)?? Just a viewer and subscriber suggestion..

Theres a product called algae fix that might work on getting stuff off the glass, but im not too sure if its only for ponds or something. A couple fish that could deal with algae control is a couple of Otocinclus, buy like a couple of them and they'll go to work. Nerite Snails would also do a very efficient job. Bristlenose Plecos are a bit of a larger option but wont do it as efficiently.
Please do a giveaway it would be so cool and I have been really wanting some frogs but my local pet store never has any so it would be cool to the fans to if u did a giveaway for the baby frogs and tetras
If only I wasn't a month late, but if they are African Clawed Frogs (like in this video) that laid the eggs, I would have suggested that perhaps you could check out Grow-a-Frog. They sell kits and stuff for raising individual tadpoles to people and perhaps stuff from them could help raise these tadpoles like their stage one food in order to feed the tadpoles and then stuff they say on how to care for ACF tadpoles that they have on their site and all that. As a kid, I've had like, three tadpoles. Two at first, one of them got stuck in it's Tadpole with legs stage of life and died after four months, so I got another that passed that stage well, but then was sick with bloat, while the other one of the first two passed that stage and grew up healthy and got to fully grow. I wouldn't say it's too difficult, just my tadpoles were mostly unlucky. 'Course, raising a single tadpole in comparison to raising hundreds of them would be a different story entirely, hahah! As of now though, I'd imagine either they all are froglets by now, or they sadly passed away... I hope it's not the latter and is rather, the former...
@@larrykoopa64dshacker64 they were African dwarf frogs eggs , I got them to a stage where they did hatch! But they did unfortunately pass. I had 100s but the mom got to some and I was only able to move a few over. (Their eggs are reaaally hard to transfer) they swam for a bit but did sadly pass away. Not giving up hope though I will try again next year or whenever they decide to have more :-)
