Kristin sings "For Good", from the Broadway musical Wicked, with the Boston Pops Orchestra. The full show is up for trade ;)

She always makes it seem so effortless. There are just NO words to describe her voice. "Beautiful" doesn't do it justice.
This song has made everyone i know cry....its so powerful. Who hasn't had a friend who they felt like this with.....

I love Kristen Chenoweth and decided to watch this after watching an old episode of "West Wing". I was reading about actor John Spencer who played Leo McGarry,White House Chief of Staff, for the first six seasons of the show, and died suddenly of a heart attack during the sixth season.Kristen sang this at his funeral and I wanted to listen one more time with that in mind.
Also, John Spencer had jokingly said to Kristin that if he were to die that he wanted her to sing that at his memorial service. (And John Spencer died during the filming of the show’s 7th season, not 6th :) )
"Wicked" was my sister's favorite musical, and she was a big fan of Kristin Chenoweth. My sister died of breast cancer in 2009 at the age of 46. Her daughter sang this song at her funeral. I still cry every time I hear it.
its crazy how much her voice has matured since her Wicked days... and that was only 5 years ago... she's awesome!
This might actually be the best song from Wicked. Not as flashy as Defying Gravity or as funny as Popular. Still in the long run this song is the one that has left an impression on me for good.

Received this today from out of the 'blue.' It is as beautiful to hear today, as it was the first time I heard it. I defy anyone to not have major tears by the end of this song.....Peace.
I sang this song yesterday to one of my best friend. Everyone was crying because its her last day working with us .

I almost cried. She is freakin fantastic. She has such a wide range. She can go from soprano to tenor-ish sound, and she does it flawlessly.

We sang this in 2007 South Dakota State Choir........me and the kids from our school had the director dedicate this song to our director because she had cancer and couldnt come to it.......i teared up while singing it...

The first four notes make me melt.
This song makes me cry for two reasons. One, my best friend and I go to different schools and I miss her terribly. Now, next year I am transfering to go to her school (it is much closer), but my new friends are sad that I will have to leave them. This song how I felt moving about away from my old friends and now my new ones. Maya, thank you for always being my older sister. Jenny, and everyone else, I'm sorry we'll be seperated after we all became a family. I've been changed for good by you.

We sang this song for Graduation after visiting Chicago in march of 2008 and going to this play wasnt the same actresses though... was very emotional... the seniors sang her solo in the beginning so it has special meaning to me

Just beautiful. I just "discovered" Kristen Chenowith in the last year. Loved her in "Pushing Daises". Too bad it was cancelled. Watch her in the video with Idina Menzel singing this song in rehearsal. Very touching.

Every time that I hear this song, I think of my best friends, and the different paths we've traveled on in the last few years, and it makes me cry. Because no matter happens after this point, they were my best friends for seven years of my life, and nothing can ever change that.
And in that way, I feel like I can relate to these characters--and this song--in an indescribable, timeless way.
