beal contract was reasonable at the time because he averaged over 30 points and could have been a top 10 player
Yeah for me the worst contracts would be the ones that seemed bad THEN and NOW
beal was never close to a top ten player. his 30 ppg were as empty as an average that high could be, and the no trade clause was absolutely baffling from the moment it was announced.
The contract Seattle gave Jim McIlvane in the late 90s absolutely deserves a spot on the list.

@@reynaldoflores0923 If you were a basketball fan during that time, he was considered an all star level player. It was like each team back then had a superstar, and he was theirs. Sure he didn’t win titles, or go on deep playoff runs. But he led them to winning records and playoff appearances. Surely one of the top 50 players of His era.
