i only noticed it halfway through the video, but HE IS BUYING HIS SHOPS TO LOWER AD FROM DRAVEN’S AXE (1 GOLD IN BANK = 1 AD), SO LESS AD = NEED MORE ATTACKS TO KILL = MORE STACKS PER ROUND. THIS GUY IS INSANE and here I thought it’s neurotic clicking (like he usually does for no reason: clicking underneath his little legend) it took me 8 rounds, until 3-3, to notice it holy fuck
I’m challenger in league and I know how squeezing absolutely every optimisation from the game is crucial to staying at this level, but comparing league to tft I always thought that there is way more of these in league and while that is absolutely the case, I think I just came around to appreciate tft as much deeper than I thought

try to stick to 1-3 comps per patch that share similar item openers (sword for darkflight/soyfen for example). Take general use augments like CB thrill etc as much as possible. Learn how to cap comps later so your not running mostly useless units stage 5+
yeah going off of above comment, it really helps to just have a game plan at 2-1 and start the appropriate item, it's okay if you hard force and go bot 4, with more games, you'll get used to getting to your final board and sometimes u just lowroll. im low master so not very good, but flexing between just 2-3 comps helps me a lot, especially when i'm struggling
All of the advices above are great + don't greed your items and try to have BIS everything, otherwise you'll be taking 15 dmg every turn and die with 7 components on your board. Also don't greed your econ too much, if you are winstreaking hard it is better to go to 10 or even 0 gold and keep the money from streak rather than sticking to interest. Also don't be afraid to lose streak as long as you have a game plan. Many people have really weak boards at stage 2 so instead of trying to go for lose streak and getting some econ they panic as soon as they lose 20 HP. However when your board is every weak and you take heavy damage every turn it's good to roll for 2-3 upgrades instead of keeping 50 gold all the time.
