I can't believe you have taken the time to create this playlist. Honestly unbelievable. I truly feel if you gave a high school student this book and this playlist so many people would elevate their math scores and general enthusiasm for the subject. Thank you!
That's my hope. I think too often math is taught too quickly, and people that would otherwise be perfectly capable are left behind. I think if you give your brain enough time to process the ideas, it will eventually get it.
You're right, "no one is teaching this course." And as a 25 year old who is just now appreciating the value of mathematics I'm so glad you made it. Thank you so much. I've learned more from you than I ever did back in school, and for free too. I hope I can pay your gift forward somehow, someday. Maybe I'll buy you some more paper, haha! :p

for the second problem, I was shocked cuz I solved it differently without stopping using distributivity until I realized that I was passing through a complicated way while u solved it simply in no time u are the best teacher ^w^ keep going
Heeeey, I don't know if you still check this out, but I don't understand why in 27:04 you decompose the 24 into 6*8 for the homework. )(Thanks for this amazing playlist, btw. It's an outstanding work.)
I've been suffering to understanding math basics for a long time but now i can see the light from the darkness ❤ thanks a lot for your extremely generosity 🙏
Hey, man! You're probably not gonna read this, but I need to say thank u so much! I'm from Brazil and I'm totally into this playlist. It's helping me with math and my English too Ur the best!
Thank you so much for explaining all this in your playlist, and even organizing it. I will comment again on the last video of the playlist (when I get there) thanking you again.
Because I made a mistake. 6*8 is 48 Good catch. You should always be looking for mistakes in lectures because they happen quite often with even the best lecturers.

Hey Saleh! Your question: a + b = a then b = 0 So how do you prove that? You can add -a to both sides of the equation. So it becomes: a + b - a = a - a Using commutativity, the equation becomes: a - a + b = a - a Now a-a gives 0, hence proved that b = 0. Hope this helps.
So I seemed to have messed up today's video, and it took FOREVER for Final Cut Pro X to process an upload this video. Sorry guys.
For exercise 1, why do you expand 24a into (6×8)? Why not (2×12) or (2×2×2×3)=24. Where is the 48 coming from?
From where to home question I didn't find

Thanks for taking some time to do this! I am finally getting back into mathematics and need to 'fix' my foundations in a more rigorous context.
No prob, it was a joy and I was teaching my kids at the time too so it wasn't a big deal.

Same bro, I couldn't understand either
just a mistake,
everyone mistakes.
I think it's a mistake, the factorization should be 2^3 * 3
I'm loving this playlist, thank you so much.
Thank you sooooo much for your efforts! I have never put my hands on such material.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! YOUR VIDEOS ARE REALLY HELPFUL FOR REVIEWING!!

Distiby and commuby are really important topics. Thanks!
I see your videos from Chile, thanks for making this world a better place, greetings from Chile
Thank you for your video, at 27:19, it is 24, but you write 2*3*2(3rd power)
27:50
I think here you forgot about one (a) the one after 24, and also 24 is 3.8 not 6.8, so it has to be
2³ 3³ a¹⁸ b⁹
Right:)?
I got confused by that also, he just forgot i think.
I'm actually from India and this video is helping me a lot. just want to let you know how far you are helping...
27:02 mistake there buddy....24 is 3.8 or 4.6..6.8 is 48 not 24..nice work though
Sir, for exercise number 1 minute 27, i don't understand 24 is 6.8. isn't it 3.8 or 6.4? thank you
YES! Glad you pointed it. I noticed it as well. Thx
Finally know what (a+b)²= a²+2ab+b²😂😂
It's so funny when he laughs 😂😂😂
finished!
Would any of these lessons be useful in coding?
exhausted till the end
9:48 I don't understand we factorize a but not b
Watching your videos to learn English
Sir, can you please explain why we can do opposites just like in the number 8?
Good
Hello guys... From where to find out home work question
I'm still not sure I get how (-1)(-1) maps to -(ab)...
(-1) × (-1) = (-a) × (-b) = -ab = -(ab)
3 years later, i am struggling to understand the same thing.
Can N8 be (-a) (-b) ?
Yeah, the mic is better
27:06 i don't know who wrong me or you but 8•6=2•3•2 to the 3 right? But it = 48
But that is 24a how ???
2*3*2*2*2 = 48
sir I want to ask a question
27:00 at this stage you wrote 6•8 from 24
I don't understand why?
Because I made a mistake. 6*8 is 48 Good catch. You should always be looking for mistakes in lectures because they happen quite often with even the best lecturers.

Also why its not 2.2.2.3.a? Shouldn't it be a^18?
@@jg394 you almost make me cry sir🤣
By the way thanks for the explanation sir👍
How to solve this?
- (a+b+c) = -a+ (-b) +(-c)
- (a+b+c) = -a+ (-b) +(-c)
or -a + ((-b) + (-c))
or -a + (-(b+c))
or -a - (b+c)
or - (a+(b+c))
or - (a+b+c)
21:25
Sorry sir but home work question 1 24a*(3ab²)*(a³b)⁵ ans is 2³*3³*a¹⁸*b⁹
Wooow....❤❤❤
the part at 13:09 loses me every time, what is supposed to be -(ab) here and how?
Yeah a little clarification would be great
Exercise 1 is solved wrongly. 6 times 8 is 48 not 24!
11:24
TEACHER WHAT [2\2\2\]
Somali shut up
Nah coz I'd rather watch a Indian W subtitles in English 💀
20:20 i don't understand
You have ab and ba. You can write ba as ab, so you have 2 ab.
If a + b = a, then b = 0
I couldn't prove it!
Hey Saleh!
Your question: a + b = a then b = 0
So how do you prove that?
You can add -a to both sides of the equation. So it becomes:
a + b - a = a - a
Using commutativity, the equation becomes:
a - a + b = a - a
Now a-a gives 0, hence proved that b = 0.
Hope this helps.
