Can Sims Survive 30 Days of Free will? Well, that's an interesting question. In Sims 1, I've always wondered about free will. Sims 1 it was never any good. But I'm going to push Sims 1 free will to its limits. The version of Sims 1 I'm playing on is Sims Complete Collection to pull this off! Hopefully you all enjoyed! 720 hours of recorded footage!

I know right?! All of that was crazy!! The only theory I have is I deleted the mailbox to prevent bills so the repo man wouldnt steal everything every day. Im wondering if that affects the pathing or gets the mail lady invisibly plugged up or something at the entry point of the lot. I dont know for sure, but that's all I got!
@@Tytar incase you weren't aware the mailbox serves as a marker for other sims to know where your house is for when you invite them over and such, that allows the game to bring up the menu to greet them etc
the trash can works in a similar fashion for the carpool vehicle when your sim gets a job,
the footpath tiles on the ends of the lot and the road edges such things shouldnt be deleted either (move object cheat will show such things as "portal")
My takeaway is dancers will help you survive. Also, maybe I should start dancing.

wow i think this is the first time ive seen where the actual time passed is more than the assumed time... like you see all those "surviving minecraft for 300 days" videos and theyre 300 in game days, so here i thought "oh its just gonna be 30 in game days" but no you did 30 real life 24 hour days you mad lad
One other person said something similar! That's honestly the best compliment I could've been given because let me tell you, recording for an entire month takes a long time. 😆 Stay tuned, something very similar is coming out soon(ish) because you know, 1 month takes a while... lol

When they kept dying around day 6 I truly thought I would have to change the video to "Can Sims survive 1 week on free will". But I managed a month!! @@Tytar Haha that's true! I don't think I would have ever tried it either, I just assumed you could only have one because you can only have 1 maid.
It actually looked eerily familiar to myself, about 5 years ago before I started going bald haha. Still wear the beanies though, don't want to blind anyone 🤣

I also wonder if a Sim with maxed skills would survive longer: cook better food, not start fires, fix broken things, etc.

Loved when bugs appeared after not cleaning, and I think the sims would get ill with a change of dying from the illness . Realistic as heck, wish it was part of Sims 4
I didn't know you could get spooked to death in The Sims 1! Thought it only applied to The Sims 2. Thanks for this video!
Also, did you know: If ghosts are on the lot while serving turkey or birthday cake, the ghosts will join in? They will also join in if you make everyone dress up (by using the "Porta-Parody Costume Trunk", right next to the telescope at 01:27)

The sims 2, 3, and 4 experiments all played out very differently than I thought they would! I'll leave it at that! I'm curious to know what you think when you have time to watch them :)
One time I left my sims game running over night and when I came back all were dead except for one who was crying in a 4x4 prison made of dirty dishes. Very surprised how far your sims made it
omg that's so wild!! I count my sims lucky to be honest. I had a hard time Days 4-7 and a few bumps in the road after that, but they were able to make it!! I couldn't believe it!
Found you from the sims 1 subreddit, and damn this video did not disappoint! So good to see relatively small channels putting out quality videos! Hit the like, now I'll check out some of your other videos too before doing the inevitable and subscribe, lol!

hey thank you so much! It took so much work filming for a whole month. If you've played Sims 2, 3, and 4, I did this same experiment in those games too 🙂 I was shocked at how differently they all played out.
What a fun idea! I admire the dedication for this, even back in the day I could only keep the game running for so long before I got bored and started messing with the sims lol. Will you eventually do the same for the sequels, i.e. sims 2 or 3? Just to see a comparison on how well the ai handles themselves

It's honestly true! I contemplated getting a maid, but I wanted to see if it was possible for them on their own and if they could ever keep it tidy. Thats why I eventually had to hire so many Bonehildas!
Also do you have Servo? He is a robot butler maid. It should be under miscellaneous
I had him for a few days during the video! I deleted him at one point because he cleaned up some but kept going away!
