Hey Shane. I’m a little kid, and my coach recently revealed that he won’t be able to teach much anymore, since he has to work and provide for his family. But I know that he’s passionate about martial arts, and I wish this gave him enough money so that he can do what he loves, and provide for his family while doing it. My gym is called “New World Karate” And is located in Mentor, Ohio. The kids classes are very small, about an average of 2-5 kids showing up to each one. If you read this message and listen, I’d really thank you. Love the videos, you’ve taught me so much. But so has Sensei Mike #NWKforever

Rosendo Arguero :(. That’s tough. I’ve built a bond with my coaches, and I’m guessing you have, so it’s probably tough. Do what’s best for you.

Hey Shane, if you’re going to be in the NY area for the next few days, if possible, try and take a look at ECF MMA in Lynbrook. I used to train there before I got a better job and I don’t have time to go out there any more, but the gym is one of the best places to train at if you’re new to martial arts, or a professional looking for a good gym to visit. The head coach, Sensei Christian DeFiris, is an amazing trainer; he pushes the students and fighters really hard, and has great relationships with everyone on his team and anyone who walks in the gym looking to get started. It would be really cool to see the place I started training at get some more exposure to the public. Tell him Ali sent you!

    Á small feedback.
Keep it more natural, less acting and setting up stuff. Also if you are going to do a big surprise, build it up a bit, it seems way more real and provokes more emotion if you show the build up with the relationship with the gym owner. Good stuff and quality production. Keep it up!

It’s practiced in sparring as well as throws and submission depending on the school
A traditional Kyokushinkai school was exactly that
      Modern ones differ
Dolph Lungdren (idk how to spell it) did with face punches allowed. Look at his interview with Bas Rutten

For all complaining about the price; I think it's just different in different areas. For big cities in the U.S. everything is expensive. I experience similar prices here in the bay area in California. It really depends where you are, and i'm guessing the prices near that gym are either similar or more than the pricing at his gym.
