I love how u did like live training, when u teach a dog smth new on camera, it helps to show what to expect and what mgiht happen etc. bc many times peopel will just film them teacher a dog that already knows what to do and the command etc.

Love it!!! My new baby boy - Finnie - is now almost 13 wks. I cannot emphasize how important it is to start on day one. He’s been with me for 4 wks now & is almost a perfect lil gentleman. I’ve made mistakes which I already regret - but working to fix them. Also - raw food is the way - it’s easy & cheap with research. My older boy is raw fed for two years now - I can’t even think of feeding kibble without feeling horrible.

I got lucky I’m not sure if she’s just tired from surgery or she just likes the crate but my new pup is currently napping in her crate happy as can be shes been home for maybe a couple of hours she hasn’t paid my cats any mind (they’re separated in another room) and is responding to this feeding training very well not perfect but I’m sure if I keep going she’ll be okay

How would you recommend doing this with kibble? I live with my aunt and uncle who just got a puppy. Since I’m home most of the day, I’ll be doing most of the training and it’s hard enough to keep them from feeding dogs people food, let alone convince them to switch to a raw diet, so kibble is what I’ll have to work with.

How did his stomach respond to the raw? Was it a gradual shift from kibble or cold turkey? About to bring home an 8 week old english bulldog and want to start him on raw ASAP but they have such sensitive tummies I'll probably keep him on kibble for a few weeks while he gets settled.
I found a breeder who feeds raw meat, as well as raw oils, egg, yogurt, bran rice, etc and I am so excited to continue this regime. Can’t wait to train my lil chihuahua!

Hi Rachel- do you have any suggestions for car seats? I have a 4 month old springerdoodle who might grow up to 40 pounds. I'm not sure what size of dog car seat I should get. Please advise.
Hi Rachel my dog is under socialized. And we want to socialize him he is 7 months, how do we do it?
She has a video on socialization if you're interested! Also, it's never too late to socialize; don't give up! You can take your dog on walks, bring him/her to a dog friendly store, eat with him/her at an outdoor restaurant, go to puppy socialization classes, and even just make loud noises around your house and then give rewards.
Like mentioned in the comments below, make sure you take him out to pet friendly areas, Walks in outdoor plazas, etc. Always make sure you don’t give any attention to unwanted behaviors such as barking or pulling on the leash. If he’s under socialized I’m guessing he has excitements towards dogs, people and kids. So you can manage the situations by giving him space. Working at a distance first and praising or rewarding with treats any calm behavior. Instead of pulling his leash if he gets ahead, walk up to the leash and redirect him with body language walking the opposite way of what’s he’s excited about. Try your best not to put tension on the leash or pull. If he does end up barking even at a distance and he’s froZen and as you try to redirect him he won’t move . Ignore him completely. Any attention you give to his behaviors will make it worst. But the moment he gets his attention back

I’ve been asking my parents for ages now about 3-4 years my best friend hasn’t wanted a dog for very long and got one today honestly it gave me the confidence to try to ask my parents again, they finally agreed and I’m getting a doodle probably an Aussie doodle or Goldendoodle next year for my birthday, seriously don’t give up.

Transfer your puppy to raw food should be done periodically , slow transition. If feeding bones and co raw food then for a puppy it will be 5% of current body weight.

Hi Rachel! I just got a bernedoodle and he is 3 months. But he looooves to jump on people. He is going to be around 90 pounds and we can't have him jumping. Do you have any tips to stop him from jumping? (other than that he is extremely well behaved and a snuggle buddy)
