I got one as a medic. Just because you have a healer on your team doesn't mean you suddenly don't have to avoid damage! I can heal you, I can't make you immortal! Just because you have a medic doesn't mean your dodge skill is disabled.
As a healer, the past couple times I've been in a group they have split up, this makes it really hard for me to decide which group of idiots I should keep alive. I have noticed this variation between people doing story quest in dungeons and others just running ahead doing whatever. I never like it when someone doing the story rage quits because someone just killed stuff and screwed them over. Communicate, please.
You said it sister! LOL! I totally agree, it should be the tank that everyone follows and should dictate he speed of the instance. I have noticed there are a bunch of new players to the MMO platform, so yes, when in doubt Communicate!
As a healer healing 2 group of people is a good practice for later dungeons like Demokron Factory that's a 7 man and some time you have to solo heal. The last boss you have to heal the dps (back) and the Tank (Front) standing at the side is good but you have to watch your own health their as well. Just always remember tank is your main priority. Oh and yea you'll have some groups who blame you for everything
I can't be a healer in this game anymore, it's too difficult and stressful with too little reward. As dps, I have so much fun timing my skills and predicting/dodging the bosses patterns. While as healer I'm stressed the whole fight, fearing that if someone dies I'll be blamed and then kicked. And sometimes it doesn't matter how good of a healer you are, or how much you can outplay the bosses mechanics. Because you can still get a tank who never blocks, a dps who never dodges, a player who will die too much and never revive themselves... I'm tempted to delete my healer. I'm not looking for a pity party, I'm just curious to see if anyone thinks otherwise. (For people who've done 410+dungeons btw)
While healing is most often the most stressful and thankless job to do you should take notice that it is the most important job, yes a tank is needed but with no healer the tanks usually don’t last too long especially in later dungeons, as for dps( my role of choice, not because it’s easier but I have played it longer) we are a dime a dozen, some good some bad but we are many. But as for order of heals any rpg gamer with experience and half a brain will tell you 1st is tank 2nd is yourself and last is dps, and they will also say all components are needed for successful endgame runs. In closing for newcomers to the rpg world a few tips; Tanks concentrate on defence and aggro. Endurance is nice too Dps: do you’re best to not steal aggro from tanks but if you do, don’t run from tank, instead run towards them so they can regain the aggro And healers: just concentrate on keeping everyone alive and leave the others to do their jobs. Too many times I have watched healers dpsing instead of healing.
Hello. I used to play a healer on perfect world. Heck, I even wrote a guide for healers on it. Lol. There are always people who will blame the healer, but if you enjoy the class, then keep playing it despite what they say. Play how you want and have fun doing it. Don't let them suck the joy out of being a healer. I'm a sorcerer in this game now, but mainly to try something different after years of being a healer. Either way, I hope that your experience improves and that you can continue to find joy in your class of choice...whether it be a healer or otherwise.
When I'm in a dungeon, as a healer, often times the bosses target me, I don't try to draw them at all. I try to linger in the middle/back of any group I'm with. The bosses fights are basically me going, "Heal, heal, heal... Oh sh**, RUN! Why ME! I'm not the tank! Oh, he stopped. Okay. Heal, heal, heal..." Rinse, repeat. Healing, ain't easy. Personally, it bothers me when people stay on large mounts when inside a building. Here I am trying to interact with an NPC for a quest and I cant even see them because 2 dragons, an armored crab, and more are in the way. Please just dismount momentarily. You can always summon it again when you're really to go.
I once healed them so much I forgot to heal my self, I kinda space out from watching others health bars, a habit of raid healing long ago, still getting used to solo healing.
It is most annoying to me when the damn archers/mages pull all the enemies. Classes have roles for a reason. Every dungeons I have been in on console, the archer has pulled everything. Their excuse was “this stuff is easy. We are not dying.” Stop getting into bad habits. As a healer main, you pull and you are not the tank, you are getting less heals. Especially if I ask you to let the tank pull and you refuse.
GuineaGamer I was just in a lvl 90-110ish WOW dungeon today, where the rogue pulled two bosses solo and killed them solo. He pulled everything up to the first boss and the boss at once. Then we had some people who were confused about where to go and I stayed behind with everyone else to heal them while he ran ahead and killed the last two bosses solo. Which means I did not get an achievement for doing the dungeon....and had to rerun it.
LoveInHell I am talking about when DPS runs in and pulls the mob....not letting the tank go in first. And in most games healers actually get aggro more than DPS.
Just some constructive feedback, maybe have a note with a brief outline with you in future videos? ^^ easier to remember what to say and bring up etc! Great voice though! Got into TERA on my ps4 recently. Never liked it on pc but it just makes sense now haha
GuineaGamer I remember playing it when it first came out on pc, and I remember a lot of quests, but it seems like there's almost no quests anymore. And feels extremely fast to level haha even without elite
Great tips. A lot of ppl expect ppl to just know this stuff then rage about it instead of trying to help that person learn. Don’t rage at crap players try to be the solution and help them get better!
LOL! Yeah, I always have to remember that there are many new players to this game, and some this is their first ever MMO. It is definitely hard to believe I know!
I've not long started playing on xbox.just getting a group for a dungeon is hard enough. You can wait for ages so I've got dungeons sitting waiting to be done
You forgot the 5th and 6th important thing. Please folks drink the YELLOW POTION before the il355 dungeons bcz we cant start the dungeon. And Healers must heal, stop using your useless normal attack. Low tier dungeons it does no matter but since il355 dungeons, healers should forget about to use the normal attack and focus only on heal, buffs, debuffs and repeat.
Lol, I've met so many healers, that literally will never heal, even when I've been close to death running away from the boss. (cause it was targeting me...) It's so damn annoying.
Yeah, I've been in some dungeons where the healer puts down ridiculous buffs making things seem easy, then other times we wipe on the first boss (Fire Fur) in Lilith's keep due to not getting healed. lol
Yeah, lancer is my first character, took me a while to learn the basics...still learning. Accidentally end up face-tanking due to mis-times or lag/server shenanigans...sorry about all that healers.
That is very true! I know when I am tanking I try my darndest to keep the boss turned. I really hate the mobile bosses that want to move all over the place. When you play DPS it can be a pain to keep your rotation with the boss moving, or the tank not moving them.
Not all bosses are going to attract an aggro skill all the time. You have to know the mechanics and not blame every class that you encounter when things go wrong. Most bosses will pick a random player, some lose aggro altogether and fly off to the other side of the room. Just know the mechanics and most importantly, know your class. Everything should work properly if those criteria are met.
I have noticed there are several bosses that like to go on walkabout! LOL! You are correct, knowing the mechanics makes everyones instance more enjoyable.
If the tank is pulling one at a time, especially if you can easily handle more, then they are wasting your time. 10 minutes instances can turn into 30 min ones. Be a good tank and know what your group can handle.
I think it's pc players coming over and trying to rush through to 65. The quests are really messed up in how they progress, I out-level most areas before I get to enjoy the content.
Good video! This should help some new players ^^ That would be good if all classes would do their job correctly... even in 65+ dungeons, some healers wait for you to have 1% of your life to heal you or sometimes they even forget about you because they're attacking...
I play a lot of FF14 and just started on Tera, and it's funny that most of the dungeon etiquette issues are the same. There's nothing more irritating for a tank or healer than a non-tank that wants to run ahead and pull or locks out the boss room. Don't be that person.
Man, I'm a 65 archer. I get so many shitty party's for dungeons. I can rarely queue for a dungeon and get a good party. I almost always need to go in with guild members. Not complaining, it would just be more convenient if I could queue and get a good party. The other day I queued for 410 lilith and nobody was doing their job. I was the only dps taking out the minions when they spawned, the tank was garbage, the healer was garbage. Everyone was all over the place. These people are 65! They should know how to at least play their damn class and know the basics of a dungeon.
jesse fernandez I noticed that too! Granted this isn't my first rodeo with Tera but I wanted to come back and play it again for console this time. I see that I'm the only one still behind with some cause I read and enjoy the lore and story, stay behind to farm and practice my archer strategies, and collect useful items on the field. Meanwhile newbies that came in the game the same time I did flew through everything and then try to come and challenge me and lose cause they never ONCE practiced how to use their class! One brawler was level 25 a level under me and still had weak hits cause he didn't know that adding stones and enchanting your weapons and armor helps your damage. Leveling up doesn't mean your everything goes up, but if they weren't flying pass the story and mindlessly hitting enemies they'd know that😓😓
Coming from world of Warcraft tera is cake for the most part, I love how different it is. How are ppl suppose to join a guild without advertising? You can always stop chat if you don't like it an i hardly look on chat I have other shit to do.
Does anyone else play berserker?? And does anyone else find it difficult to play as one? Cause i do, I've played every class on tera and each and every other class is way easier when it comes to getting kills and dodging. I just wanted to say if you do play berserker, i have so much respect for you it was a pain to get to level 65 honestly. 😢 also I'm stupid so when i started playing i picked berserker i thought big axe big damage easy to play is berserker supposed to be a difficult class?? Since every other one is so much faster and way more powerful!! Or is it broken?? Or is it because its a tank class and deals more damage?? Please someone inform me im confused.
If you're a healer, DON'T ACT LIKE A DPS!!!! In all fairness though, archers automatically pull massive aggro over tanks, it can't be helped sometimes lol. Also, if you're a mystic DONT USE THRALL OF PROTECTION WHEN YOU HAVE A TANK and don't just rely on the healing orbs to heal the group, use your actual healing skills too. I've dealt with every situation you mentioned in this video and it really is annoying when it happens.
Good job, sadly I think the people doing these things don't do any research for their class, boss mechanics, etiquette, etc... so they won't even see this video. I have friends like this, they just turn a game on and play. They never have any idea of events, patch notes; skill trees get randomly chosen/upgraded, etc.
I totally agree! I thought I would make just some simple etiquette to follow for people who have no idea how MMOs roll. I remember playing Star Wars Galaxies back in the day, and someone gave me some tips. I was just running around like I was the only player in the world. LOL! I really do hate the "Use suggested runes." It is sooo misleading. Most of the runes are wrong with the "Auto Rune" button.
Dps(reaper) used to be my main class(stopped at 410) until i got too much pissed at retarded healer: can’t count the number of times the group healer decided to become a dps and not heal anybody.cant count the number of times the tank was running away from aggro. Now slowly getting a berserk to lv65 so i can dps/tank and become a one man army :D
Lmfao, if they are afk you boot them or go on without them cos truthfully you don't need them. As for pulling I do it if the tank is just standing there not knowing what they are suppose to do. I main a mystic been doing so since early pc days..
I met idiot players that thinking they are cool. Big mouthed and blaming the priest which was me is bad while heading boss for few minutes. I've been played this dungeon for several time with no problem.

LOL! Thank you for this! Very good point you made about Demokron, I couldn't imagine solo healing that. Especially on hard mode.
that is the curse of healer lol
not a lot of fudgers like to communicate either dang jerkwads
my rule as a tank for many yrs and many mmos...if you pull it...u tank it
cujoway lol!
I can't be a healer in this game anymore, it's too difficult and stressful with too little reward.

I only like healing classes because I like to go solo. Also I like minions

YASSSS! You are 100% Correct!

DarkAngels Rhapsody lol! I space out too. I go full on derp.
Oh geez heaven forbid we ever end up in a group together, they are doomed. LOL. I play on xbox also Smulch server.
LOL! I know right!
THANK YOU for mentioning the tank pacing. It's not hard for a group to get wiped when pullers get overzealous.
EzeakioDarmey Absolutely!
It is most annoying to me when the damn archers/mages pull all the enemies. Classes have roles for a reason.

UGH. Usually in WoW it is the hunter being bad. LOL! That would have infuriated me.
The reason why dps gets aggro is because they’re stronger than the rest/too strong, they can’t do anything about that.
LoveInHell I am talking about when DPS runs in and pulls the mob....not letting the tank go in first. And in most games healers actually get aggro more than DPS.

Got into TERA on my ps4 recently. Never liked it on pc but it just makes sense now haha
Ahnket Thank you! Game has come along nicely!
I always get rotten luck. I’m a DPS and all my tanks keep not pulling anything and wait for literally ANyONE else to go first but the tank itself... 😂
LOL! Yeah, I always have to remember that there are many new players to this game, and some this is their first ever MMO. It is definitely hard to believe I know!
I'm brawler when I tank. 99% of the time, I'm the one leading the charge and gathering jobs into nice tight piles lol.
I'm a tank and I completely agree with you with the pulling.
I know right! That is a MMO staple in dungeons, tank dictates the pulls and speed of the instance.
GuineaGamer exactly
Have you done the Barreling In quest?
Hey was wondering can you do a awakening video playlist
Also as a mystic, if you see a thrall of vengeance with a bunch of loot around it (that you can pick up) please don't.
I've not long started playing on xbox.just getting a group for a dungeon is hard enough.
You can wait for ages so I've got dungeons sitting waiting to be done
If you’re on PS4 you can block the PS4 account and it will block the bots. You will have to do this regularly but it’s nice to clean up chat.
Clifford Green jesus, it's getting worse every day in Xbox with those damn bots man.
You forgot the 5th and 6th important thing. Please folks drink the YELLOW POTION before the il355 dungeons bcz we cant start the dungeon.

I have died even with a priest and a Mystic on the team
Yeah, I've been in some dungeons where the healer puts down ridiculous buffs making things seem easy, then other times we wipe on the first boss (Fire Fur) in Lilith's keep due to not getting healed. lol
Cheers. New player on PS4, helpful. Hey if I main valkyrie will I find spots in dungeons ok?
Helo , awesome content , could you please make a vid on how to join guild and what goes on with a guild
nadeem hoomar The guilds are located in the social tab. Most guilds can be joined without an invite too! It’s good to have pals!
Yeah, lancer is my first character, took me a while to learn the basics...still learning. Accidentally end up face-tanking due to mis-times or lag/server shenanigans...sorry about all that healers.
Another thing tanks keep the boss turned around about 70% of the dps dmg comes from behind smh
That is very true! I know when I am tanking I try my darndest to keep the boss turned. I really hate the mobile bosses that want to move all over the place. When you play DPS it can be a pain to keep your rotation with the boss moving, or the tank not moving them.

Omg you couldn't have said it better man ! What server you on ?
I play on Basilisk! Maybe I will see you in the dungeons!
Rolleonty so true
Once I get more playtime in, I’ll join up with you. I just need to figure out how to...yknow...play.
Yay! Bring Lisa!
Also, there is a leveling event going on till may 13th! Free character slot, and a bunch of extra stuff for f2players!
Lmao
You speak the truth brotha ✊🏾, once again though great video people need to know these dos and don’ts
I took your advice on the description! Thanks man!
If the tank is pulling one at a time, especially if you can easily handle more, then they are wasting your time. 10 minutes instances can turn into 30 min ones. Be a good tank and know what your group can handle.
I know it has nothing to do with the video but after ressurecting yourself from dying do i get a prime battle solution as well or minor?
0:58 There is a quickchat telling people to wait, right there.
YES! I knew it was there! I usually just type it out.
GuineaGamer Yeah, I think it's better do that, cause then you can also tell them why you need them to wait.
Great Advice
Machho Williams Thanks Machho! And thank you so much for the subscribe!
why is Zerker considered a tank??? compared to brawler and lancer zerker does not do enough agro to tank at all
Cuz they can block an attack after some heavy burst dps. That's my theory anyway.
I think it's pc players coming over and trying to rush through to 65. The quests are really messed up in how they progress, I out-level most areas before I get to enjoy the content.
bless online is due sometime this month on steam.. so so hyped
just spent 4 years tanking ff14 and it got boring...oh and i miss TERA !!
cujoway I heard about that! Lot of good things I am hearing about Bless
Good video! This should help some new players ^^
That would be good if all classes would do their job correctly... even in 65+ dungeons, some healers wait for you to have 1% of your life to heal you or sometimes they even forget about you because they're attacking...
Do you still play on Xbox? My mystic just hit 65 and I think I do decently well (Got previous MMO experience so maybe that's why I find them easy lol)
Lone Liberation absolutely! I am on the basilisk server on the ole Xbox
I don't remember that being one of the servers on Xbox, unless..they're different per country or something.
Lone Liberation Not sure? I’m in the US.
Janvik server is mine I believe
That must be EU? I guess? I am not familiar with that server either.
I play a lot of FF14 and just started on Tera, and it's funny that most of the dungeon etiquette issues are the same. There's nothing more irritating for a tank or healer than a non-tank that wants to run ahead and pull or locks out the boss room. Don't be that person.
as tank main since 4 years in tera. if you go without tank. you gonna clear it without tank
Is there voice chat?
Yo Main Mexican of course!
I love your videos ... I have been playing for 3 days and iam about lvl 37...do you play on ps4...
warzone: morloc venser Thanks! I am on Xbox!

jesse fernandez I noticed that too! Granted this isn't my first rodeo with Tera but I wanted to come back and play it again for console this time.

I go afk when im on my own
And i have solutions and nostruims on hot key
At lvl 65, i run sabex for feat and as dps i'mma rush, not like tank will keep agro 🤦♀️
I'll 2 hit anyways 🤷♂️

Gold seller Bot They also Final Fantasy 14 as well they do that all the time . Gold seller They need to go away
