I just can’t seem to stop with the faux leather tutorials lol. This one was requested so of course I had to do it! Let me know what you think I should do with it now that it’s finished! Enjoy the video!! 💕
This is my first time visiting your channel, I'm here to learn about your process to make faux leather. From the tutorials I've watched, quite a few mentioned a ratio of (1:4) 1 part glycerin to 4 parts water. I love the vintage look as well! I did watch the video to the end, where you mentioned your son and the beautiful red recipe book you're making for him. I was an employed, single father of 5 so I understand how precious time is. The fact he's asking for your recipes is a super compliment. It also speaks highly of him. Good luck!!
Hint: If you drop a couple small stainless steel nuts (probably #8's or #10's) into a container, filled with the liquids you want mixed, then screw the lid back on, and start shaking. The stainless steel nuts will help mix the contents and settle back to the bottom. Saves time, does a great job mixing, and being stainless steel, they won't rust. They're always there to help mix again if you add more liquid.
Hi there! Very nice great idea. I will do this because I can see make pocket envelopes or a journal cover with side inside pockets. This is a visual for me Nicely done, as always! Happy new Year Wishing you the best.
Hi, I don’t think making a garment with a paper bag would work because it is still not strong enough and not washable. I’m not sure what type of garment you are thinking of but you wouldn’t be able to wear it very long since it would probably fall apart if you washed it. There is something called stone paper that is waterproof and very strong that may work. I hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching! 💕

Have you thought to work your paper a little more so that it’s not so crispy?
Thank you, I will try that. Thanks so much for watching!💕
